Our vacation cabin is secluded, yet not far from the small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. A small and cozy cabin, with one bedroom with a double bed and a sleeping loft. The cabin is small and the sleeping loft is not with a full height so adults might find it cramped, so it might be better suited for a family of 4. This is the perfect base for visiting the South Coast of Iceland, with short driving distance to f.ex Fjarðárgljúfur, Skaftafell National Park and the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Our farm is located in the countryside, only 9 km from the town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. Perfect location for making trips exploring the natural beauties of south-east Iceland or simply stay at the farm for the peace and quiet, cuddle our dogs or enjoy our sauna. At the farm we have hiking and biking trails and a trail map for our guests, taking you to hidden places most people won´t have the chance to visit.

Our porch gives you a unique view of two glaciers Vatnajökull and Mýrdalsjökull. The view of northern lights is amazing from the porch in the winter time. The moss covered lava surroundings are rich with berries and birdlife in the summer time.

"Landbrotshólar". It is a unique volcanic landform. Remote yet close to small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur.

This brand new and cozy cottage is located between Vík and Kirkjubæjarklaustur. The cottage is 39m2 with sleeping arrangements for up to 4 guests. There is 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and a double sleeping sofa in the living room. There is equipped kitchenette as well as a bathroom with a shower.

Please notice that you need to bring towel,sleeping bag or blanket with you. The cottage are at the Camp site at Kirkjubær II, Kirkjubæjarklaustur. In the cottage are small kitchen but you find WC and showers in the Service House. sleeping bag accommodations
