We were absolutely happy with this beautiful accommodation. The view of the glacier was stunning, and at night, we enjoyed the starry sky and even the Northern Lights. Whenever we had any issues, we received quick and helpful support. The hot tub was an amazing highlight!

We loved our stay at Hrífunes! Such a special and remote spot. Comfortable accommodations and looked just like the photos. We enjoyed the sauna and hot tub and saw a glimpse of the northern lights. Feels like a really special gem, super remote but still convenient to area attractions and Vik. Perfect for our family of four.

Great, quiet location—perfect for exploring the area and we even caught the Northern Lights one night. Comfortable, well-equipped, and a peaceful base for South Iceland. Would definitely stay again

Our stay at Jon & Linda’s cabin was very enjoyable. It was clean, organized, and the breakfast option was convenient. I would highly recommend staying there if you are driving around Iceland.

Beautiful place, in a beautiful location! We had so much fun

It was a very lovely place. We had great views and there were some lovely walking trails. We entered to a perfectly clean house with two bathrooms and three bedrooms and everything was perfectly clean. The heated floors were also so very nice. But the thing that stood out to us the most were the sauna and hot tub. The sauna was amazing and the hot tub had a spectacular view. As other reviewers have pointed out, it takes about four hours to heat up the hot tub, so be prepared. Finally, it was so peaceful to feel alone with my family in nature, far removed from the cares of my life. Wish I’d stayed longer.

Our stay at the Mosi Hut was incredible. The responsiveness from the host was amazing and she gave us great local hiking recommendations (we got some time away from the crowds!). The place was very clean and welcoming, we felt right at home - truly a magical experience! Thank you so much Audur, we will be back!

This spot although well off the beaten path was an amazing unique glimpse of the south coast ! Host , her daughter & sister were lovely & so welcoming! The quiet &’peacefulness are just hard to describe…. we stayed her 2 nights for our home base for excursions to Diamond Beach & Glacier Lagoons.

Cabin has everything you wish to find in small cabin. View from dining space to the lake was breathtaking during breakfasts and dinners. We liked the vibes of cabin so much. Living room and both sleeping spaces were comfortable. Walls were a little thin, but it was ok for us.

We had an incredible stay here. The location was peaceful and scenic, with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The farm animals were super cute, and the friendly dogs made it feel even more welcoming. The views were unforgettable—golden sunlight in the morning and the northern lights at night made it feel like a dream. Totally worth it, and we'd love to come back!

The cabin was very cozy and true to photos. We were a group of 5, having just spent several nights at a crowed hostel, this cabin was heaven sent. It had all the necessities and more, which was such a delight! We would happily return if given the opportunity:))

We travel a lot and have used numerous airbnb's or vrbo's. Agusta's "cabin" is easily in our top 3 ever. It was amazing! Lots of space. Well appointed. Fantastic kitchen and living area. Thought of everything. Loved, loved, loved it. Only slight negative is the long gravel road (+/- 10 mins) to get to the place, but if you want seclusion and darkness for the northern lights, that is an easy price to pay. The town of Vik is 30 to 40 minutes away. That is where you'll find the restaurants and grocery store, so plan ahead. Special bonus was introducing my children to a vinyl record player with a good selection of albums.
