Vacation rentals in Sjögestad

Clean house. Beautiful peaceful location and a great host. Lake nearby. Had a great stay, host allowed me to use his row boat in lake to go fishing.

To say we had a nice stay would be an understatement! The accomidation is so lovely and we had an amazing vacation. The pool deck is even nicer than you might think from the pictures. The pool costs a little extra (120€ for the week as of 2022), which would have been nice to write in the listing. Given the pool is heated and has to be maintained the cost is understandable though of course. The next grocery store is about 15min by car and the next bigger town about 40 to 50min. Given how nice the house is you might not want to leave though :) We had a lot of fun taking the SUP and the canoe out to the lake, we even had the chance to do this with our little dogs for the very first time, so that was a really great experience. There is even a grill, which Linda and Peter were kind enough to let us borrow. All basic spices, oils and such were also there to borrow. The surrounding forrest is beautiful too and there were plenty of mushrooms to pick. Lastly two things worth noting (These werent issues for us but might be worth knowing for others). Both the pool deck and the garden are not fenced in, so if you have small kids or dogs you will have to keep an extra eye out. And the larger beds in the main house are in separate rooms but the rooms are only separated by a curtain. Again, these were really non issues when you take into account how lovely the rest of the place was! So, thank you again for letting us stay here, Linda and Peter!

Elma’s place is just magical. Very quiet with a fantastic view over the lake. It was great for travel to Finspang & Norrkoping. Would def finally stay again if it’s available next time we visit the area. My wife fell in love with the place. The house is very well equipped with everything you could want and great wifi. Highly recommended.

Perfect house for us 2 families (4 adults 4 children) Plenty of space, nice surroundings and a very accommodating host who both brought the children to see all the animals, showed good place for sausage grilling and offered eggs from their own chickens. Lovely with a spa bath under clear starry sky and fun with so much stuff outside for the kids (playhouse, wooden house, swing etc) Well-equipped kitchen and nice social areas for our New Year's celebration. We had great days and will be happy to come again to explore the place in the summer.

We loved everything about this place, and we really hope to come back! The landscape and the animals are beautiful. Our kids got to feed the goats and the chickens every morning and they really enjoyed it. When we woke up in the morning, the peacocks were on our terrace :) we also went fishing in the boat and caught 3 fish in the lake. Thank you for a wonderful time

Great view of Lake Lake directly from the breakfast table. Fresh, Modern, Quiet and nice accommodation. Perfect reception and lovely hostess and host.

I can’t recommend this place enough! We had the entire house to ourselves, which made for a perfect stay. Christoffer was incredibly kind and always responded within minutes. Once he realized I had a small child, he went out of his way to prepare a cozy nest and provide toys — such a thoughtful gesture!

Nice and spacious house in Katrineholm. We had a great time, Malin was very supportive during our stay. The house is well-equipped, just a bit warm in summer due to the big glas front. If we ever come back to Katrineholm, we will definitely stay here again.
