Cabin Hideaway

EnzaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is the third time we have spent time in Lisa's cozy cabin, as Dunsmuir is an ideal stop for us en route to our son in Portland. We love it! Although we never play any of the games she has provided, we love the comfortable bed, the shower amenities, and (at Christmastime) the Christmas tree! Lisa was particularly accommodating this time, as I had forgotten to mention our pet when we signed up. PS Pizza Factory in town = great pizza!
A rustic cabin sits amid tall trees, showcasing a welcoming entrance and large windows. A four-person wrought iron table with matching chairs is positioned on a grassy area, providing a serene space for outdoor relaxation.

Amazing place! Serene and beautiful, it's a cabin straight from a fairy tale. If you want to just disconnect from the world but still have all the comforts - this is the place to be. 10/10 would recommend and hope to come back again.

Angel Cottage with a Sauna and view

EmilyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Fred and Mary’s home was a peaceful getaway tucked amongst pink blossoming manzanita shrubs in the bud of spring and from their home, Mount Shasta seemed so close you could touch its peak. The way the sun cast its rays upon the mountain was one of the best scenes to enjoy for a slow, easy going morning. Easy to find, very clean and tidy, their home had a bright and cheerful feel. Fred was very personable and helpful! I would definitely stay at this sweet little cottage again.

Cozy cabin/wild creek + gardens

Amazing stay, you can see and hear the river from anywhere in the house, hosts were among the friendliest I have met as Airbnb hosts. The garden was exceptional with multiple pathways to see all the different plants and flowers and a bunch of butterflies. Hammocks and chairs set up at various viewing locations. No fires but they have a wood stove. Bring lots of food and a propane grill. Also you can drive 40 minutes to a Mexican restaurant. Also 3 hours from the biggest tree’s in the world at the redwood forest.

We had a wonderful stay at Meghan’s cabin. It’s in a beautiful area too. Meghan was extremely welcoming and went above and beyond when we had car troubles. We cannot thank her enough for a great stay and for all her help!

•TheNest Romantic Sanctuary w/ Mt. Shasta Views•

CailynnRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Spent our Christmas holiday at the Nest. I drove with a 2WD car and get stuck in the driveway because of the snow. Jan and her neighbors and her friend were super friendly, offered lots of assistance which I am very grateful for. The Nest is exactly as described, warm and lovely with very nice vibe from the forest and mount Shasta. A little bit noisy when the train pass by (the building is next to a railroad). There’s vintage store owned by Jan below the Nest which I hoped to visit but unfortunately unable to due to loss of the key. You can cook in the Nest but the appliance weren’t super good because it’ll stop suddenly. Overall, if you are looking for a place in the forest for some spiritual inspiration, the Nest will be a great place.
A warm living area is adorned with wooden beams and walls, creating a rustic charm. A cozy seating arrangement features a comfortable sofa and hanging chair, while sunlight streams in through multiple windows. A decorative area rug completes the inviting atmosphere.

•Romantic Cabin in the Woods• Rustic and Charming•

MuznaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had a great time at Jens cabin as it took us back in time and was super charming. It was exactly what we were looking for. The place a very cozy feel to it and we loved that. It looks exactly like the pictures or maybe even better. As Jen has mentioned in the description, the cabin is old so that can get tricky like we didn't know how to light the fireplace and without it, it was super cold but once we got the hang of it with Jen's help, the cabin heated pretty quickly. Another thing to note is that the neighborhood is very dark at night and as we reached there at night we had trouble finding the cabin. This wouldn't be a problem if you reach during the day though.
