Highway 3 noise was noticeable. (nothing to be done about that, unless you could set up a roadblock....er, never mind) And the lack of shades in the kitchen allowed cars approaching from the direction of Yreka after dark to provide the sensation of temporary blindness if you were sitting anywhere in the kitchen or living area. I was babbling all my secrets until my wife convinced me it wasn't an interrogation. Okay-- I MAY be overstating... Really just kidding! Great place! We would like to stay again, if these comments don't get us banned...

We had a great family ski trip to Mt Shasta at the Sunshine Lodge. The turn off for the ski park hwy wasnt far and right off the 89. I loved how spacious the house was and all the cool vintage pieces throughout. The wood stove kept us nice and toasty after long days at the mountain. All the beds/furniture were comfortable and cozy. Also, it was nice that all the shops, market, and places to eat were within walking distance. We'd definitely stay there again.

Toad Hollow was great for our group of 7 adults and children. We loved playing in the snow, sitting on the front porch, building puzzles on the big dining room table, cooking meals in the well stocked kitchen, taking baths in the clawfoot tub, watching dvd’s, and walking to restaurants in town. Toad Hollow is close to Mt Shasta ski park. The large mud room was great for offloading snow gear. It was nice having a washer and dryer to dry wet snow gear! Jill was very responsive when we accidentally deadbolt locked the keypad door and went out the back (the back door has a door knob lock that can be pulled closed and locked). She came by and unlocked the house while we were at the ski park so we didn’t have to deal with not being able to get in when we came back. We would recommend Toad Hollow for its cozy, like home, atmosphere.

A beautiful stone house, right on street with major restaurants and cafes. We had awesome stay!

Beautiful house in a magical location. Peaceful, restful and invigorating. House is tastefully appointed and has everything you nerd to enjoy the scenic beauty of this area. Hostess is communicative and responsive. Highly recommended!

This cabin was great, cozy and comfortable. A great location with views of the mountain. Our stay was lovely, the wood stove was such a treat! Would definitely recommend and hope to return someday. Thank you!

Cute house.cozy place. Love the location. Love the train. Made us feel right at home. We live close by the train. It’s right by the freeway easy to get in and out.

Great location and airstream matched the photos. The heater (if you’re here off season like we were) was excellent. Really good customer service, they went out of their way to help us.

Amazing stay at cave springs! The whole property felt a bit like summer camp, the zip line was an unexpected delight! Would love to return over summer to make the most of their spaces. The cabin itself was clean, modern, and very functional. Excellent.

Spent 1 night in Christina‘s tiny home next to Trinity River. Christina was very hospitable and even helped us with setting up a bonfire next to the river. Can only recommend her place 😊👍

Cricket’s home has now been the location for two family celebrations. Cricket is super responsive and accommodating. Highly recommended staying here!

We had an amazing stay! The home was super cozy and had absolutely everything we needed from board games and towels to shampoo and other thoughtful touches. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we really appreciated the privacy the host provided throughout our visit. Bonus points for the massage chair - it was such a hit that we were all fighting for a turn, and half of us ended up falling asleep in it! Overall, it was a 10/10 experience with zero complaints. We truly enjoyed our stay and definitely hope to come back again!

This farm was incredibly beautiful and peaceful. Rebecca went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed for our entire stay. We definitely hope to come back to Etna and stay here!!!

D was such a wonderful host! Very communicative and attentive from start to finish, and so accommodating to us. The canopy is BEAUTIFUL and had everything we could have needed. We only stayed one night, but I will definitely be bringing my kiddos back for another longer stay here! Thank you for everything! :)
