Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Sintra

Robert and Fabian’s house is much more spacious than what Airbnb photos had showed us. The location is great. It’s close to Sintra and Azenhas do Mar, one of the most beautiful coastlines in the country. Fabian is kind and considerate. He has old-school hospitality, gave us great travel tips, and even made coffee for us before our early morning flight. We really enjoyed our stay there.

This was an excellent stay and reminded me of the old days on Airbnb: uncomplicated, clean and extremely friendly and supportive hosts. Perfect for visiting Sintra and also Lisbon, since it is strategically placed in between but without the parking trouble. Would definitely stay here again.

Very close to everything and I found an easy parking spot as well. Charming location!

Apartment was very warm, a fan or air conditioner would be nice. When we opened the doors to bring in fresh air,flies would come in. Couldn’t have doors open at night because of people talking all hours of the night outside Kitchen amenities wonderful. The place was set up like a hotel . Very comfortable

The small apartment has everything you need. It's not in Sintra's old town, and that's a good thing. 2 stations by train and you are stress-free there. Even to Lisbon, the train connection is perfect. About 30 minutes. The apartment is on a large street, but still quiet due to the good windows and the glazed balcony. The reception was very friendly. We felt very comfortable.

Daniel was a great host, and the apartment was comfortable, spacious, and in the perfect location to explore Sintra during the day. I appreciated Daniel’s quick responses, and willingness even to come have a look at the coffee maker when it wasn’t working. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a stay near Sintra.

What a wonderful place! I was there with my girlfriend and sister. We came late in the evening from a wedding and Ronny warmly welcomed us. At breakfast the next day, we met Johanna and were able to look at the accommodation in daylight. Everything is designed with so much love and we have noticed that they are fulfilling a dream here. We felt like at home from the first moment. A special highlight was Spiky, a Labrador. We missed our own dog very much and walking with Spiky made us very happy. Unfortunately, we were there far too short, but we will take the beautiful memory with us and will be happy to come back!

The location of this villa is absolutely unbeatable! It's right next to the famous Quinta da Regaleira, with stunning views of the Seteais Palace and beautiful grounds featuring a blooming garden and a lovely pool. Our hosts were very kind and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We booked the villa for my sister's bachelorette weekend as a group of 7 friends. It was the perfect base for exploring the magical town of Sintra, going on nature hikes, relaxing with drinks by the pool, and even taking a quick Uber into Lisbon for a fun night out. The combination of nature, charm, and accessibility made for a truly memorable stay. The property consists of two separate buildings, both with a more rustic, traditional feel. We found this added to the charm of the experience, and the bathrooms were surprisingly modern and comfortable. That said, the rustic vibe that comes with older buildings may not be for everyone. Something to keep in mind depending on your preferences.

Magda and Dario are wonderful people and very good hosts! Everything was clean and everything what you need was in the house. We were 5 people and used 3 bedrooms. If we had questions it was easy to contact Dario and he was extremely helpful. a supermarket is 10 within walking distance and the beach approx. 45 Minutes. It is a bike available this is perfect.

We really had a great time at Madalenas place! The house is huge with three baths and three beds, all with access to the sunny, private deck and the really nice pool. The perfect spot for a summer vacation, with a lot of nice beaches close by and all necessary shops and restaurants in walking distance.

Great location for seeing the Sintra area and the beautiful beaches nearby. Also, a micro climate in summer makes it cooler than the Lisbon area, so it's a nice spot to relax.

What a beautiful location, short walk to the city center, short walk to some stunning views, or just hang out by the pool. We would definitely stay again!!

Outside the climate that was very bad wind fog we really appreciated the spacious comfortable accommodation with everything you need to live at home and the more it is the small garden fortunately well sheltered and sunny. A car is absolutely necessary to enjoy the surroundings of the beaches of the Ericeira atmosphere and its restaurants Fortunately at 2 km there is a small food area very well stocked and above on the 1st floor a typical Portuguese restaurant where we eat very good fish at an unbeatable price Very quiet accommodation that I recommend but a little far from the centers

Sofia’s house is such an inspiring and beautiful place, I really recommend it!

Maria's house is very nicely furnished and very clean. We felt very comfortable. We had everything we needed on site. Maria welcomed us personally and gave us great recommendations for the surrounding area. She ist very friendly! The house is in a quiet location and in just a few minutes by car you can be on the picturesque coast with breathtaking views of the sea. A visit is highly recommended!

Very comfortable and spacious place, well decorated, definitely get a “homey” feel and perfect for a group of 4 with lots of luggage! The view to Lisbon from the terrace was gorgeous. Nice pool as well. Located in one of the preferred neighborhoods of Lisbon accessible to everything needed. Since we rented a car, I loved the private, secured parking garage connected to the place! A must if driving considering parking limitations in Lisbon!

Paolo made our stay very enjoyable. He is the best host. Super responsive and went above and beyond to get us into the apt early. Great location-extremely close to everything. Very walkable and convenient. Great space for a larger group with 4 bedrooms. 2 bathrooms and a very large comfortable living room. And if you are a tv person-biggest tv I’ve ever seen. Thank you Paolo for your graciousness, friendliness and all your recommendations. Also extra shoutout to Luan who checked us in at the property-super nice person and graciously came extremely early well ahead of check in time to accommodate our group. I can’t wait to come back.

Located on a slope not far from Liberty Avenue, the room has a small balcony in front and back, the view is pleasant when the weather is good, the room is fully equipped, very comfortable! Although the sound of walking upstairs is a little obvious, because the building itself is a little old (which is one of the charms of this house), I personally am not affected and sleep well, sensitive people can bring their own earplugs ~ The owner is very nice, proactively providing information about nearby food and coffee shops, etc. We actually visited and liked it very much. Overall, it's a great living experience!

Maria was the best host and offered exceptional hospitality during check-in with an infant. The place was walking distance to a nearby center with food and 20 minutes from the main center that home was clean and beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.

Everything was wonderful, the location, the accommodation and the host. Ling was very kind at all times, giving very useful recommendations. When we return to Lisbon, we will definitely repeat.

Staying at Heinz's place was like “being at home.” In more than two months of stay, I appreciated the comfort of a large, comfortable house with a private garden!! Corroios is a quiet town but offers all the services. It may seem far from the center but, trust it is among the most connected in Margem Sul! You'll be spoiled for choice in which way to use! The Fertagus, a 10-minute walk (2 minutes by tram) takes you to Lisbon by passing the 25 de Abril Bridge. My favorite way was the tram (directly under the house, at all times, every 7-9 minutes - Casa do Povo station). When you arrive in Cacilhas (which I loved for the evocative sunsets at the Final Bridge) ferry to Cais do Sodré, and in less than 10 minutes you will be in the heart of Lisbon! Discovering the surroundings of Corroios (Almada, Costa da Caparica, Setubàl) has also allowed me to experience the least touristy part of Portugal, the one that made me fall in love with this country! Go to Heinz's place, you won't regret it.

The apartment is fantastic, like staying in a piece of history. Wilfried has taken great care with the renovations and has also kitted out the apartment with high quality bedding and toiletries. Kitchen is really well equipped and Wilfried provided a vast array of coffees and teas. The rooms and bathroom layout worked well for us, a family of five with three grown-up sons, so everyone had their own room and slept well. The location is perfect, very central and easy to walk to most attractions or use Uber for going slightly further out. Its in a busy location with a lovely atmosphere. We weren't troubled by any noise - the trams and bars also close relatively early anyway. Wilfried is great and pro-active communicator. Everything was clean and Eugenia was a delight to meet. Thank you, we would love to stay again.

Beautifully furnished flat and very clean! Key transfer was well organised. Lots of parking nearby! And nearby are several supermarkets. Public transport to the centre of Lisbon is good to do. On my next visit to Lisbon I will definitely book this flat again.
