We are locals and rented Mariana's place while we put the finishing touches into our new home which was delayed. Mariana was extremely helpful and understanding with our shifting check in and check out requirements given constant changes with mover and builder schedules. Mariana was so friendly and responsive. She sent us wonderful information to make the most of the area. Since we live here we didn't need it, but anyone coming for a visit will get the best of the best of the local experience. The house was perfect. Great location, great distribution. Great light. The pool was refreshing fun. Everything better than in the pictures and the description. If we ever need to refer anyone to a place to stay in Colares, Mariana's place will be top of the list. Highly recommended....and I have stayed in many Airbnbs all over the world.

Johanna was in touch well in advance to make sure I could find her place and had no issues. It is a very welcoming place to stay. Ideal for women travelling alone as it's very safe. I'd recommend her place for anyone wanting to enjoy the beaches around Ericeira.

This is a superb property for a group/ large family holiday. The pictures hardly do it justice and with the pool, padel court, bbq and pizza oven there is so much to entertain everyone during the stay. Elisa provided some great recommendations for the area and met us at the property for check in to ensure we settled in very quickly. The local beach at Magoito was only 8 mins drive away and food at Duna Mar was great so well worth a visit.

We just finished a fabulous five night stay and highly recommend. Gui greeted us upon arrival and walked us through the home. It is a historic home so there are some quirks, though nothing crazy. The house was a perfect size for our party of 8 (ages 12-70). The location absolutely cannot be beat - we never walked more than 15 minutes to get anywhere we wanted to go which was much appreciated at the end of the night! There is noise as the home is centrally located but that is a worthwhile trade off for the location. Washer (line dry) worked well and there were umbrellas, towels, sand toys, etc for the beach. We did not cook at the house so cannot provide a review but kitchen was spacious and well stocked. There is only AC in two of the rooms but there are shutters that help keep the heat of the day out and there were two fans available as well. Especially for the price and location, this is a great home for a large group.

I rented this house for my parents when they were in town for a visit -- it's a great space with an amazing view and they loved it. The kitchen and dining area was great to join them for dinner and if we had planned ahead more we definitely would've taken advantage of the bbq grill in the garden!

Very good host! She welcomed us with a lot of information and good recommendations for restaurants and tours of Lisbon. The cleaning was impeccable. However, there was a smell of moisture present. Maybe just the concrete buildings that cause this, that we're not used to this smell in Quebec. The little private area is inviting! Thank you Annabella for your warm welcome!

Although short, we enjoyed our stay, the house corresponded to the description, located in a pleasant space and close to main areas such as Mafra and Ericeira. We recommend it.

We had a lovely stay in Sintra. The house is charming and worked perfectly for us as a family of five, including 3 grown-up sons. Joana was a good communicator and Rosa is generally around in the mornings. A beautiful location and not far from the old centre.

Having Pedro meet us at the house and show us around and give us a list of recommendations was invaluable. The house is well appointed with beautiful gardens and a lovely outdoor area. It was a great central location for all of the things on our to do list. A stay at Ana and Pedro’s home will not disappoint.

Simply perfect. My family and I spent a wonderful weekend at the Seahorse house. The space is fantastic with a huge garden and the possibility of sighting the horses in the back of the house. The giblets have regrowned. Thank you so much for everything Célia. We'll be back!

Spacious, spotlessly clean, bright with everything you could need. Very comfortable bed. We really enjoyed our stay. Great host - always responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend Carolina's place. Also a lovely big balcony to sit and have breakfast - would also be an added bonus to have a couple of loungers/comfortable chairs to enjoy this further.

If you are planning on exploring Sintra with its beautiful sites, look no further. Guy’s house is amazing - the pictures don’t do it justice! It is bigger than we expected from the pictures and is nestled in a beautiful lush garden. Our kids (8-11) enjoyed exploring every corner of the garden and we found it to be the perfect spot for a day trip to Sintra. We took our car to a parking lot in town (10 min from the house) and then took the bus to get to the different castles. Guy and Soraia were very communicative and helpful (eg with restaurant recommendations). Highly recommend staying at their place!

An unforgettable week in your holiday home Our week in your holiday home was truly a dream. The panoramic view over the ocean and the beach was breathtaking , waking up to that view every morning was pure magic. What made the stay extra special were the small observations that coloured local life. It was fascinating to see how people enthusiastically took selfies at the most beautiful places. It was also impressive to see how suppliers brought their products down the steep stairs – a true art in itself. The balcony was a true paradise: spacious, comfortable and with a view that invited us to enjoy the surroundings for hours. Although we noticed the musty air in the bedroom, we accepted this. With the tips we received to regulate the humidity, we were able to further optimise our stay. A fan for the night would be a welcome addition to improve the air circulation. What a beautiful, peaceful retreat in nature to enjoy! We really loved walking to the cliffs and surrounding areas. Came across a farmer grazing his heard of goats… our daughter really enjoyed that. The air was crisp and fresh so make sure to take cozy clothes for the mornings and evenings. I would highly recommend and would be happy to return! The place is very cute and the beach and how open and undeveloped the beach was is unlike anywhere else. We did three days of surf lessons from Caeser who is literally 100ft from the house down the beach and there is surfing right out your front door with board and wetsuit rentals.. The town itself is a little bleak and there wasn't much to do and we found if the weather was bad restaurants close very early (like 6pm) so just make sure to find out times if you are planning on eating out for dinner. Our family of four was in love (2 boys ages 7 and 10) but my in laws came too who are in their early 80s. I clearly wasn't thinking bc the walk to the house is through the sand and hard to navigate, my mother in law also couldn't get over the sand dune to go to the beach, and the stairs in the house are more like a ladder. so it's wonderful for able bodies but if you have someone with special needs it may not be suitable. but otherwise if you love surfing, beautiful sunsets book it!

Loved everything about this air BnB. Celso had thought of absolutely everything, probably the most well equipped air BnB we’ve ever stayed in. To wake up in the dunes and watch sunset from them was such a treat - hope to return again soon! Recommend avoiding heavy luggage and packing smaller overnight bags to make it easy getting from the car park to the air BnB. Would also recommend princesa beach club for lunch nearby, had a great day here.

Manuela was attentive from start to finish to make sure everything was fine. She was very kind and pleasant at all times, and very attentive to our dog. The house was very cozy and quiet. It's true that in the mornings it's very bright and with so much light it's a little difficult for me, but it's fine.
