House vacation rentals in Sintra

We are immensely grateful for the days we spent here, it met our expectations. Everything is beautiful, clean, a 10. We will definitely be back!

Nilza is the greatest hostess. From the clear check-in instructions to the prompt and personable response throughout our stay, we could have not asked for anything more. The house is very centrally located, within walking distance to the train station and the Marginal. Nilza kindly recommended restaurants in the area and things to do. The large kitchen is fully stocked, plenty of beds and one bath upstairs, one downstairs. We received extra bed linen/towels on request as we stayed for 10nights. The water works perfectly fine, just know cold is hot and hot is cold :). The construction was not bothersome to us, as we were out of the house during the day. When my family got locked out of the house or the water was shut down due to a broken pipe in the neighborhood, Nilza responded within minutes and did everything she could to help. Also, the key to the front door works perfectly if you follow the instructions on how to insert it. Thank you, Nilza, for a wonderful experience!

We had a lovely stay in Cascais. The house was clean and comfortable and in a very peaceful, safe and friendly neighbourhood with a private, pretty courtyard garden. It was just a short walk to the beach, marina and Cascais train station with plenty to do and lots of great bars and restaurants nearby. The train ride to Lisbon was just 35 minutes so a very easy day trip. The Lidl just a few hundred metres away was also perfect for getting anything you need - fresh produce, good quality and very good value. Mauricio was a great host, keeping in touch and helping out with anything we needed. I would definitely recommend a stay in this lovely house.

We had a pleasant stay at Paula and Anselmo's. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and the garden is a real plus. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness. We recommend it!

Loved the place and the surrounding good to go visit Lisbon and other cities near! Claudia was amazing always responsive and the apartment was so cute with so many details! Thank you

paula was so helpful and was waiting for us when we arrived. The little cabin was extremely clean and had loads of little touches. I epecially loved the lavender on the towels very nice touch. There are a couple of restaurants walkable near by. A lovely bbq take away and a great very cheap and friendly cafe bar just around the corner. we could'nt have found a better place to spend afew days. Thank you Paula x

We had a great stay! The house is simple, but very welcoming, full of charm and with an environment that made us feel right at home. Mrs. Isabel was always extremely friendly and always available, for anything. He immediately responded to all of our questions and resolved any situation with speed and good disposition. We were 2 families holidaying for a few days. This house was perfect for us all. Lots of different social spaces to all relax and be in. The pool was fantastic. This was an absolute dream house I deeply loved! Such a treat to enjoy this incredible home in such a perfect location in Ericeira. Gorgeous sunset views. Walkable to the beach. The coziest and beautifully designed lounge spaces. Great for working and studying or entertaining. Kitchen has everything that you need! Loved the dining room, sun room, and outdoor spaces. I’d move into this home. It has just the best energy and is perfect for families. Elizabeth is the BEST host as well! She goes above and beyond in catering to guest needs and is so easy to adore 🥰 I’ve stayed in all of her listings because I just love the aesthetic of her homes that she’s created and she is the dearest most genuine pure soul 💖 Thank you again for such a warm and wonderful welcome for this month I’ve had in Carvoeira/Ericeira! Annemie is a wonderful and generous host who couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive. The house is in an amazing location, up in the hills with beautiful views and bird song. Pool wonderful and kitchen well equipped. We had a great few days. Thank you 🙏🏼

Pedro and his crew have thought of everything. It really is like a private villa in a luxury resort with extremely attentive service and a house set up perfectly for comfort. The pool is heated and lit at night. There is banana tree next to it. You have a juicer and a pile of fresh oranges at checkin. The bigger of the three TVs is 85 inch. There is a ski light in one of the three bathrooms. The only problem is that it might be hard to go back to your own house after this stay.

We had a great stay here, it was perfect for our family vacation. The house is beautiful and very well taken care of, with spacious bedrooms, a large family room and well-equipped kitchen. The garden and pool were also lovely - private and quiet and a great place to hang out. The beach and train station were both a short walk, and Estoril is well-situated for trips to Lisbon and Cascais or to explore towns along the coast. Catarina was a fantastic host and Dona Gilda helped with anything we needed during the stay.

The view and the place were very nice. Because we arrived on the day of the big blackout in Spain and Portugal, the host put candles everywhere so we had light. We found that very thoughtful! We were very satisfied and would book the place again immediately. Thank you for the wonderful time!

House consistent with photos Very nice garden, spacious, ideal with children, Charming owner, who has lots of animals, all too nice! And who is available ++ and caring if you need something. Note that the house really overlooks a road, for lovers of silence, think about your quiescent balls, but otherwise the garden is very well fenced so no risk for children .

We had an amazing week at Lina's place! From the start, Lina was a fantastic host - super responsive and friendly. She sent us a detailed guide with tips on where to eat and explore, and every spot we tried was great! The house is cosy and private (with its own little courtyard!), with a comfy bed, a well equipped kitchen, and a spotless bathroom - perfect for a relaxing stay. The location is ideal - just a 2 minute walk to the beach and right near the heart of town. We ended up spending more time there than planned because there’s so much to do - surf schools, bike rentals, yoga classes, and fantastic bars and restaurants. The whole vibe around the house is so chilled and relaxing. Lina went above and beyond to check in and make sure we had everything we needed. We’re so grateful for such a wonderful week and can't wait to come back!

Our trip to Portugal from Canada was amazing, had a perfect morning walk up to the local coffee shop. Highly recommended!!

We had a great stay with Gem & Gary. They are incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. The house is lovely and had everything we needed. It’s also just a few minutes walk from some amazing beaches.

The villa fit our group very well (a family of five on the top floor, a family of four on the ground floor and a couple in the garden suite). Nice to have 3 ensuites for the adults! All brand new and feather bedding plus AC was great. Pool a bit cold, but we braved it. We liked the host’s guide- the walk on the reserve was beautiful, highly recommend Balagan for a sunset meal in Ericeira and O Pescador was very sweet for a Sunday lunch. We’d add Emme for an upscale dinner in nearby Santa Isidoro and a day trip to Mafra (15 mins) for the palace & quaint rural museum enroute. (We also enjoyed Sintra and Cascais further afield.) We surfed with Blue Ocean which was a bit chaotic for the kids (very busy) so def only recommend for teenagers. Overall really happy with the stay. The house was a great base to discover Ericeira and surrounding areas.

Villa Bali was absolutely beautiful, we had a group of 16 and we all fit super comfortably. The host was good with keeping us up to date with everything and when we had the power cut across Lisbon came with coal & fire lighters and to check we were all ok! We all agreed we’d 100% stay here again. You will need to get Ubers to places in Lisbon which tends to be around a 15-20 min drive. Thank you so much & I’m sure you’ll see many of us again.
