Vacation rentals in Simplon

We (a family with a young daughter) stayed four nights at Sebastiano’s place and had a wonderful time. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, very spacious (even larger than expected from the photos), and the balcony and terrace offer stunning views of Lake Lugano. Gandria is a charming, picturesque village with a few nice places to eat. The bus and boat stations are just a short walk away, and there are lovely paths for hiking and strolling. We don’t have a car and got around entirely with public transport — it takes a little planning but works very well. Sebastiano was a great host — very easy to communicate with and proactive, which made everything smooth and stress-free.

Pobyt u Matteo okazał się idealnym wyborem. Mieszkanie przestronne,czyste,dobrze wyposażone. Matteo bardzo był pomocny, odpowiadał szybko na nasze wiadomości. Na zewnątrz jest miejsce i całe wyposażenie na grilla i co najważniejsze miejsce parkingowe pod domem. Lokalizacja świetna. Można zwiedzić piękne Lago Maggiore,a do Como tylko 1 h drogi. Polecam z całego serca!

Amazing place - looks even better than the pictures, highly recommended. We stayed for 3 nights and last day we had the luck to enjoy some snow (a lot actually) even though was unexpected for this time of year and we were unprepared still enjoyed and was an amazing experience.

Was sollen wir sagen: es war einfach ein Traum! Wir haben uns richtiggehend verliebt. Die Unterkunft ist top gelegen. Alles ist zu Fuss oder mit dem Fahrrad erreichbar. Die Seesicht ist genial. Von hier aus kann man gemütlich direkt dem See und Fluss entlang nach Thun spazieren. Wir haben jeden Spaziergang genossen. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und bot alles, was man braucht. Sie ist stilvoll eingerichtet und wir und unsere kleine Tochter haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir fühlten uns wie Zuhause. Lukas war ein toller Gastgeber. Obwohl er selber in den Ferien weilte, reagierte er immer zeitnah und sehr freundlich. Seine Eltern, welche oberhalb der Wohnung wohnen, waren sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Wir fanden für unsere Fahrräder und Kinderwagen eine tolle Lösung zum Unterstellen. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Alles hat einfach gepasst! DANKE für diese wunderschönen Ferien!

We had a lovely time at the cottage, enjoying three days of peace and quiet. It‘s amazing to destress and the hosts have been super friendly and lovely ☺️ The apartment has a fully stacked kitchen, which we loved and a big TV perfect for a movie night. We also really loved the games and coloring stuff, such a nice touch!

We spent NYE at Nathalie's place, and it was simply magical. The apartment is wonderful, and that view breathtaking, especially at sunrises. Natahlie has been an amazing host, we did not have a car, and she came picking us up at Arona and drove us to the apartment. Superb experience, highly recommended!

Es ist ein sehr gemütliches Landhaus mitten in den Bergen auf einem kleinen Weingut. Wir haben uns sofort verliebt in diese Location. Der Blick auf die Berge, den hinter Palmen und Pampasgras versteckten Lago Maggiore und den Verzasca Staudamm ist sensationell. Es war sauber und alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Ein bisschen schwierig zu finden, doch Dank Albertos telefonischer Erreichbarkeit ging es dann sehr gut. Eine Parkmöglichkeit gibt es auch. Man hat tolle Wandermöglichkeiten, die uns Alberto als Empfehlung geschickt hat. Im nahen Gordola findet man auch alles was man braucht. Wir planen sehr gerne wieder zu kommen. One of the most magical Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. The chalet is nestled right at the base of the mountains—stepping outside to views of glaciers and peaks was absolutely breathtaking. It’s cozy and best suited for a couple, which was perfect for us. About a 10-minute walk from downtown Chamonix, with a bit of an uphill on the way back—but honestly, the walk is beautiful and a great leg stretch. Valerie and Nicholas were wonderful—so kind, flexible, and communicative. We’d absolutely love to stay here again!
