There is a bathing jetty/floating jetty down by the boat shed. 10 km to Mora and 30 km to Rättvik. To Nusnäs, the valley horse, it is about 4 km. To Orsa Grönklitt and the Predator Park it takes about 30 min by car. The cottage has a wonderful veranda where you can sit and eat and enjoy the view. BBQ available. The hygiene space is in a separate cottage.

Staying at Vincent’s house was lovely, he made us feel extremely welcome and helped with local advice and suggestions. Vincent’s place was perfect, in a quiet beautiful area on the lakeside. Not much to do in Grytnäs but an easy bus to catch into central Leksand. Vincent went above and beyond to always help and was great communication for a host. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone thinking about booking

Beautiful place with lovely and peaceful surroundings. We recommend a morning swim in Dalaälven and a visit to Alvfengården. Just a 10 min drive to Leksand. Mats, our host, was very friendly and helpful.

A truly special stay in Åke's beautiful house with the most amazing view onto the lake. It was the perfect place for the five of us to relax. We loved the chance to take a refreshing dip in the lake. Unfortunately we didn't have the time to test the available boats. The warm greeting from Åke made us feel very welcomed. The house is well equipped and comfortable. We’d gladly come back and then with more time! Thank you so much!

It's a nice, modern apartment right in the centre of town with several restaurants next to it and the lake only a minute's walk away. All the appliances and furniture are new and in excellent condition. There is a small balcony overlooking the square as well. Please note that the host expects guests to bring their own bedsheets and towels. I didn't realise this until two days before our arrival. Thankfully, Caroline agreed to provide them for us but I understood she was making an exception for us. If you are planning to stay here, make sure you are willing to bring your own bedsheets and towels or come to an agreement with the host about it. Also, there was live music in the square outside the apartment on Friday and Saturday nights. It didn't go on too late and wasn't a problem for us, but if you are looking for somewhere very quiet, there are other spots in Mora that would be more peaceful. However, if want to be in the centre of town, this is perfect. We loved it!

We had a very nice and relaxing week at Siljan. The children felt right at home and enjoyed the many toys and especially the Lego:) The decor is exceptionally cozy and stylish. We immediately felt very at home. The location of the house overlooking the lake is just great, whether in the morning or evening. Many beautiful excursion destinations were easily accessible by car.
