Great stay in one of Johney's bungalows. I stayed there for 1 month and didn't see the time pass. Luckily I had a great neighbor for a month, because the only flaw is the soundproofing sincethere is no insulation and the bungalows are next to each other. The bungalow is small but contains the necessities, the bed was comfortable and with a good mosquito net for quiet nights, the bathroom is very nice, and with 1 table, 1 chair, hammocks, and a fan. In addition, it is possible to use free canoe and snorkels. The bungalow is by the river, it's very peaceful, we see the back and forth of tourists passing by canoe kayak, the otter and several animals including the famous village otter, various birds, barracudas in the river and I even saw ligules.

Eco-friendly Villa Borealis - Nesat Village

Very nice place to stay, if you want to visit Nesat village. Neat and clean, Claire is a very considerate host. Well equipped kitchen, full size fridge, cold water already in the fridge when we arrived, we really had no problems. We arrived in low season, and many people in the Nesat community were not present. Claire helped us with whom offered food at the moment, and where to go and what to see. Great place to go, if you enjoy a quit time. Not an abundance of things to do very close to Nesat, but a great community, and we very much enjoyed the beaches and mangrove forests, and just hanging out with our kids in the villa and enjoying family time in the Forrest.

Beautiful island. Really nice food at the restaurant. We had a beautiful bungalow with a private bathroom right at the beach front, we really enjoyed our stay. Sand flies are annoying, but nothing too bad. Sometimes it felt like there is too much staff just loitering around, and only a few paying customers. The foreign volunteers could maybe clean up the beach when there is nothing to do, as it seemed that the locals were the ones doing all the hard work (construction and cleaning). We recommend it, would've maybe liked to stay a few days longer to have time to hike more around the island. We did hike to the elephant rock, and it is a lovely hike in the jungle. This place surely is not for everyone, but if you want a quite quiet place in the jungle, you can try out this place. Definitely nicer and cleaner than the neighboring resort a few minutes' walk away. All in all a nice experience.

Loved spending NYE here. They just finished the barbecue area in time for NYE and we got to have a lovely party with wonderful food and very pleasant company. Chea and his family are great, the vibe is awesome, the place is right on the village beach, very near the jetty where the ferry arrives. And it's an easy walk to the quieter and bigger beach, or up to the sunset viewing spot. Only minuses: the trash buildup around the island, and the mosquitos, especially in the bathroom (I got crazy bitten) meaning you have to douse yourself in repellant a few times a day if you're susceptible. Still, the value and the welcome and the peace and quiet were wonderful, and at this moment anyway, you are still able to find a secluded spot on the big beach away from other people where you can enjoy the incredible warm, calm water, while also having a good few dinner and bar options for later if you want to socialise. Ideal.

Newly 1BR Condo on Victory Hill with a Seaview

This place has everything you need in terms of amenities. I initially booked this place because I needed good wifi to work and make videocalls for training people, and had to work online 12 hours per day. The wifi was perfect and very stable, I was able to work without any issue. The pool and the view on the top of the building is also amazing. The location is also good if you are ok with taking grabs/tuktuks or walking a bit.

Olga’s place was a lovely stay! The apartment was beautiful with a lovely sea view and pool. Olga was very helpful and friendly Something to note for other female travellers… although the building itself was very safe and had security, we did not feel safe in the the town when going out. Fortunately the apartment was lovely as we did have to spend most of the time there due to being harassed on multiple occasions by the men in the area

The Harmony Home hotel itself is a beautiful view of otter beach. The friendly smiles of the boss and his wife, and the polite attitude of the staff, are very cordial. [happy] the woman who painted the paint I thought she was an employee. It's been a long time before we know that she is the hostess here! The hotel was designed and built by her husband himself. It's called life to work for a job you like. Looking back, what does every day count? At best, it's called living. Wait a minute! Let me smooth it out, is this the truth?

Nesat village is a little gem in Cambodia and the Cocoon a perfect place to explore it. An out of the way spotlessly clean accommodation. A fair amount of development in the area but to be expected, but never a noise problem so sleeping was easy. A 15 minute stroll to the beautiful beach, very good local restaurants and street food. Well worth the price for the accommodation and great hosts. Definitely recommend to other travellers and backpackers

We were hosted very well by Mon and her little family. The bedroom is comfortable and functional, equipped with a mosquito net, the bathroom is spotless. We particularly enjoyed the very pleasant garden a little back from the street. The accommodation is very well located within walking distance of all amenities.

Kirsten and Tasha welcomed us very warmly. The two of them made us feel right at home and were always available for questions. It was a wonderful stay. You could snorkel right in front of the property. The views and sunsets there were fantastic. Hannah made the place even more beautiful ❤️

Great little place removed from the tourists and clutter of the town . But close enough that’s it’s convenient. The beaches are maybe a 5 min drive away . White sand so very nice and street food as well .

We stayed three nights at the SS Hotel in Sihanoukville. My partner was sick during our stay on Koh rong Sanloem and we needed a place to settle whilst they recovered. Audy and the team were fantastic in helping us. Very friendly, quick responses and made the extra effort to ensure we were comfortable. The room is large, air con works well, smart TV with Netflix and the shower is hot. Location is good for travelling to the islands and only a dollar or two for a tuk tuk to the city centre. Great stay. Thank you.

It was a pleasure to stay at this place and immediately felt home. Olga shared with me in advance about arrival info, transport options and also supported my last minute changes. The place looks better than in the pictures and it was large enough for me. I would definitely stay again on my next visit to Preah, Sihanoukville later this year. For take-away food deliveries, i used E-Gets which seem to be popular around this area than Grab. Though i preferred to walk mostly, there is also a Tuk-Tuk stand in front of the property as well to make it convenient for local transport.
