Alicia, her son and her husband are excellent hosts. Our stay was to rest from a day of heavy sightseeing with a lot of walking, and arriving at a clean, tidy and pleasant place was essential for resting. Their kindness is inspiring. Thank you very much for everything! Highly recommended even for long stays.

Loved Chris's cabin! It has a beautiful view of the lake and transmits a lot of tranquility to the place. You can see the love and detail that puts it in every corner. Betty was very helpful, in addition to being super friendly, she helped us with everything we came to need. I will definitely stay at this cabin again. This place is a paradise overlooking Villa de Leyva and the hosts are lovely, kind people who attend to your needs. I loved the house, the art, the view, the peacefulness. I felt at home cooking, making art, and watching the view. The house was spotless, the kitchen well equipped, the beds comfortable and the shower hot! And it is nestled in a beautiful garden with bougainvillea spilling over the walls. Because of the location, which is above Villa de Leyva, it's ideal to have a car, or to be able to easily walk to town, which is about a 25-30 minute walk down a steep road. If you're looking for a great retreat, this is the place to be!

very good location, everything is close by, transportation is convenient and Francisco did everything to make our stay perfect.
