Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Shorewood

We had a fantastic stay here! It was perfect for our group of 11 and we loved being in the fifth ward with so much nearby! We felt right at home here and we’d love to stay here again!

Paul was flexible and super easy to communicate with. Check in and out are simple. Neighborhood was a quiet cul-de-sac and close to downtown. So convenient. We were a party of 9 and had plenty of room to gather and lounge. LOVED the saltwater hot tub. So relaxing at the start and end of our days 😊

Jean‘s House is charming—it was very clean and comfortable. Woodwork was beautiful and so many of the original features of the home have been kept in excellent condition or renovated to make it a great mixture of a vintage aesthetic with the modern comforts. You cannot do without a car if staying here. But if you have a car it’s a convenient base for doing things in Milwaukee. Great list of recommendations (At Random is a great little cocktail venue).

Molly was very responsive…gave us a preview of the space and was incredibly gracious with allowing us to host our family’s holiday gathering. The house is very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed to host our family gatherings…the kitchen was well stocked with spices, condiments, dishes and cooking and serving items. Molly said if we are standing in the kitchen and wondering if we can use something…the answer is yes! I highly recommend this home and Molly and Jim are definitely super hosts! Thanks again for allowing us to use your home to make new memories!

Nice house with a great backyard for our dog and attached garage! Lots of room. Convenient location. Minimal furnishings/decor, but comfortable. No shampoo/conditioner, bar soap or body wash, kitchen staples (no foil, plastic wrap, oil, coffee, etc.) so if you're staying for any length of time, you might want to plan ahead and bring your own. Otherwise a good value for the money!! Vijay was great to work with and very responsive!!

Great place to stay. Close to the city without being in the city. The outside set-up was great for hanging out and relaxing.

If you’re looking for a bachelorette party stay for Milwaukee (or any big group for that matter), this is it. It slept 9 of us very comfortably and everyone had plenty of bathroom space to get ready. Great location: everything we needed was a 10-min uber away. Walked to get coffee and bagels each morning. We had the best time and this Airbnb made it all possible!!

We spent a weekend at Jennifer's excellent rental while in the Milwaukee area for a sports event. She was a great communicator, super helpful and responded immediately each time that I reached out with a question. This rental is more spacious than the photos depict and super quiet despite the in-the-city location, located on a gorgeous peaceful one-way street with upscale historic homes. I would love to return to stay here again!

Mike was an incredible host! He constantly checked in to see how we were doing. We had a problem at the apartment and Mike was very prompt in resolving the issue. He gave us excellent recommendations for several eateries. Great parking and convenient to everything we wanted to do. Mike's definitely "my Milwaukee guy."

Location is super great- very conveniently located in downtown Milwaukee near to the Pfister hotel and easy access to the Third Ward. Other parts of the city a quick drive or uber ride away. The only downside is the parking between 8 AM and 6 PM (either meter with 2 hour parking limit, or paid parking lots). After 6pm parking is not an issue but definitely be sure to follow overnight parking rules. The parking rules definitely enforced in the area. Overall, very nice experience with this Airbnb and would definitely stay again.

The location of this house was great! We stayed for a race weekend and it was a few blocks away from the finish line. There were a few hiccups, but they were all addressed promptly. The furniture was comfy and the kitchen worked well. It was perfect for what we needed for the weekend.

The location is great for walking to many parks and restaurants and is in a nice and quiet neighborhood. It was very clean and the host was responsive to any questions. My family and I thought the beds were very comfortable! It is a duplex but we didn’t hear the neighbors at all and didn’t have any issues with parking.

The place was nice and clean when we arrived. We felt right at home. We loved that there was great food right downstairs and we visited a few other restaurants that were within walking distance as well.

The place was clean, quiet, and safe. It is an amazing location if you are traveling to go out on trails and see nature. Our son left behind a book and the host offered to mail it to us! Very kind of him. We had a great stay.

Truly a gem near Lake Geneva. Plamena’s place was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to host our families. It was our first time vacationing again after having babies earlier this year and our toddler had a blast. She won’t stop talking about “her toys” at the airbnb. Plamena’s place is also a 5 minute drive to downtown Lake Geneva which was very convenient. Our overall experience was great, Plamena is an amazing host and we look forward to staying with her again in the near future.

Thank you, Abey! for supplying your lovely home to my family and I. We had a great time. We celebrated Eid Mubarak! and had a wonderful dinner. The home spacious with a beautiful view of the lake. I see they have a pool (they close during the winter) we are thinking about booking again during the summer ☀️ to really enjoy the home. He responds quickly and will answer any questions willingly.

Great condo that was in a beautiful setting. We went in the Fall and the property was very quiet. We saw turkeys and deer and enjoyed the view of the lake from the condo. Mars restaurant was a short walk away which was also nice.

This is a great space. The owner is very responsive and helpful. Looking forward to staying there again.

Absolutely perfect place to host a large group. peaceful neighborhood and lots of space. Comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. We especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces. Hosts were kind and thoughtful during an emotional time for our family. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful mansion with breathtaking views! Lovely furnishings and comfortable beds. This house is incredible and spacious. Well equipped kitchen. The hosts gave us great recommendations for restaurants and even a lovely beach area within walking distance where we spent a great day hunting for sea glass! Thank you!!
