Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Shōnan

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Nami’s house, especially with the view of Mount Fuji right outside the windows. Nami was very responsive and friendly. We’d recommend this house for future guests.

Wouw it couldn't be any better!! masa is such a nice guy and very welcoming! upon arriving we felt welcome, he explained everything and went his way. he had answers for every question we had and helped us to the best of his ability. upon arriving we gave him some Dutch gifts ( fridge magnet of a wooden shoe with tulips and a pack of stroopwafels) this shook him but he accepted it with a smile from ear to ear! the accommodation was clean and well taken care of, plenty of room for 2 people and really close to Ebara-machi station, which we used the most to get around. friendly people around Ota and the 7-11 around the corner is also very helpful! next time we are planning to stay longer! Domo arigato gozaimasu masa-san!

Easy check in and not far from the train station. Super easy access to the beach and supermarket (Odakyu OX). Nearby is Kugenumakaigan which is a great place for shopping and food. The house was perfect. Great space and smartly designed. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture and beds. Tomoaki was very quick to respond to questions. Very helpful. Great host. It’s our second time staying at this beautiful house, and it truly feels like coming home. When we started planning this trip, we immediately agreed — we just had to return to Shonan to see Haruku, Takami, and of course, the adorable little Shiara! The moment we stepped inside, we were amazed — the house is so beautifully maintained, it feels even newer and cozier than last year. This time, we mixed things up with both a scenic train ride (just a 5-minute walk away) and self-driving — the convenient parking made everything so easy. The hosts have truly thought of everything to make us feel welcome — they even had beach toys prepared, which made our beach outings extra fun for the kids! What makes this place extra special is the friendship we’ve built with our wonderful hosts. It was such a joy to celebrate our combined birthdays together this time — moments we’ll always treasure. We’re already counting down the days until we can return and create more beautiful memories! ❤️❤️

We had a great time. It was the perfect base to explore Kamakura by foot. We would love to come back .

wonderful house on a quaint and historic island off the coast of Japan. easy walk or bicycle ride to the beach. easy walk from the train station. the house has lots of space and thoughtful amenities. to wake up each day and walk around the island was a real treat. thank you!

房间很干净很大，厨具设备很完备，有泡澡的汤池，门口有自动贩卖机，旁边有711。但是对于没有车的人不是很友好，要上一个特别陡的坡，拖行李来很不方便得打车。有两个房间，房间是下沉类型，拿行李也不是很方便。但是空调制冷还不错。感觉适合家里有厨师司机的人群过来度假，不适合学生过来团建。

Spacious, with easy access to a few bus stops. It’s also within walkable distance of other local landmarks.

Hiroyuki San was the best host we’ve had so far. Responsive , super helpful and proactive about everything He provided everything for us before we even ask. The apartment was equipped with all the amenities listed and more. He was always for responsive and ready to help with any of our needs It’s nowhere near the “center” of Tokyo so keep that in mind. If you want a stay near Yokohama though it’s the best you can find. Thank you Hiroyuki San for having us

I really enjoyed staying here and had amazing service by Yumiko for all our questions and was very helpful with the friend I stayed with. One of my favorite parts of was the authentic feeling of the room and how spacious it was. Would definitely stay here again.

Ken’s apartment is wonderful. It has all the amenities required for a family stay. We were able to cook our dinner and breakfast, do laundry (washing and dryer included). The place is strategic, very short walking distance to Enoden Yanagikoji Station. We parked our car at the house and take the train to explore Kamakura area. It was a perfect house for us. 도쿄에 장기간 머문다면 후회하지 않을 숙소예요. 일단 동네 자체가 접근성도 좋고 정말 멋지고 예쁜 가게가 많아서 동네만 돌아다녀도 좋아요. 일본어가 좀 가능하다면 갈 수 있는 맛있는 곳도 많고요. 집 자체도 훌륭해요. 일본 주택 특성상 들리는 소음은 어쩔 수 없지만 볕도 정말 잘 들고 가격 대비 다른 곳에 비해 월등히 넓은 곳입니다. 물론 집이 먼지도 좀 많고 더럽긴 했지만..! 작동 단순하고 성능 좋은 청소기가 있어서 전 깨끗하게 잘 생활했어요. 세탁기도 아주 잘 돌아가고 욕실도 좋고! 오래 머문다면 최적의 장소 아닐까 싶어요. 참, 혼자 쓰기 넓다는 리뷰 봤는데 혼자 써서 더 쾌적했어요. 솔직히 서너 명은 좀 부대끼지 않을까 싶습니다.

We had a wonderful stay at Miho’s place! The apartment itself is adorable with the comfiest bed and ambient lighting. The neighborhood was also lovely as it was very quiet but with plenty of restaurants and cafes. Miho’s guidebook was also extremely helpful when choosing places to eat. We always looked forward coming back to Mitaka after being in the city center! Thank you for an amazing stay :)

Super easy check-in and check-out. The place was clean, quiet, in a great location, a very quick walk to Koshigoe Station (Enoden line), a convenience store, and right across from the beach. The host was very responsive and helpful. It was surprisingly spacious for two people, especially compared to many other places we stayed in Japan. Thank you so much for a great stay!

Lovely place. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Host was flexible with my check in time as I wasn’t sure what time I arrived til I got on the train. As it was raining on the day I left, host was kind enough to offer to drive me to train station as well as work out the train timetable for me. I couldn’t have asked for a lovelier experience.

Sho's flat is a perfectly located room in a neighbourhood which is fun to explore - tons to do, all within walking distance. The nearby temples/shrines are sublime. Take Sho's excellent food recommendations - all of which turned out to be exceptional; recommended walk to the gym/pool also great. (Within blocks, there is a restaurant-filled quarter - incredible variety.) The walks themselves are scenic, and the location convenient to virtually all of Tokyo. Sho was always kind, helpful and responsive. The room is a great place to crash...do bring earplugs, though, as you are at the mercy of the guests upstairs (who may not walk on tiptoe.) The character of the small room is that of a simple hotel - it is not very personal or apartment-like. The bathroom is comfortable, clean and functions well. Although the check-in process sounded quite elaborate, it ended up being easy. Choose this place for the location and exploring ...and for a good night's sleep, as the room is small and simple.

Superbe Airbnb près des transports (ce qui a été un réel plus !) L'hôte a été très gentil et attentionné durant notre séjour. Rien à redire, tout était parfait, nous sommes très satisfaits :)

Primo viaggio a Yokohama, l’appartamento si trova al quarto piano, ha una camera da letto e gli eventuali ospiti extra devono dormire nel futon. Al piano terra c’è un mini ristorante Italiano, a breve distanza si trova un combini. La stazione della metro e la stazione ferroviaria locale sono a due passi. L’appartamento è dotato di condizionatori, la TV via cavo si trova in due stanze ed è fornita di un buon numero di opzioni. C’è una lavatrice nell’appartamento, una asciugatrice all’esterno a disposizione degli occupanti dei tre appartamenti che compongono questo mini condominio. Il primissimo impatto con il tastierino numerico, per entrare all’interno dell’edificio, non è stato semplicissimo. Seguite le istruzioni che vi verranno mandate per messaggio, il codice di accesso dell’edificio e il codice di accesso all’appartamento sono diversi. Noi siamo andati lì per un impegno familiare, ci siamo trovati bene e lo raccomandiamo anche a chi sta cercando un alloggio a Yokohama.

おしゃれなインテリアの部屋で、のんびり滞在を楽しむことが出来ました。小田原駅や繁華街へのアクセスもよく便利でした。

Host was very responsive, and listing matched descriptions and pictures in the listing. The unit is 3 min walk from train station, which is really convenient. Host explained how to use all appliances. Quick response from host whenever we ask any questions. Would highly recommend this place!!

We had a lovely stay at Shunki’s place! Everything was clean and spacious with easy check in and out instructions. The location was convenient to the train station and we had multiple convenient stores and shops for our every day needs. We were welcomed with a box of treats when we arrived and it was super sweet! Highly recommend :)

Apartment is better than the pictures. Location is great. Host is responsive. Coastal vibes. Me and my husband enjoyed our stay here. Would love be back!
