Family-friendly vacation rentals in Shōnan

It is an excellent apartment to spend a few days in Tokyo, very close to the train station (5 min walk) many services nearby, nice neighborhood and very safe. Large, clean and comfortable apartment.

Great place and neighborhood--- even better host ✨ Hana was very accommodating and quick to respond. Made me feel very welcomed and thankful for the experience! 10/10 would absolutely love to stay again sometime in the future!

I can't say enough about Kazuya and Maila's place! We were really looking for a place we could call home during our 10-day stay. We wanted an immersive experience in a quiet neighborhood that would serve as a base for all of the things we wanted to do and places we wanted to go. I was traveling with 3, 21-year-olds who wanted the tatami sleeping experience, but I was happy to have my own bedroom and space that was a little more western in nature. The neighborhood was delightful! It was so quiet and we could sleep with the windows open. We sometimes walked to the closest train station and sometimes took a taxi (less than $10 USD). Getting to Tokyo Station was super easy and getting to Disney was easier. Just like described. They were also very helpful with a couple things we needed during our stay that required native speakers. They made a couple phone calls and made some reservations for us that we would have found difficult on our own. Would not hesitate to book with them again!

It was nice to see Mt. Fuji in the morning.

I live nearby.My son and his wife came with a baby. On the day of fireworks, accommodation costs for nearby ryokans are soaring, but this time, it was a weekday price even on holidays, and it felt like a great deal. Originally, when I booked by mistake for a month, they responded by rescheduling, and they were willing to handle forgotten items, and communication was very smooth.Thank you very much.

Location was perfect for my stay. Very central, close to the train lines, also with much to do around the property. Would definitely stay again!

We were very happy with Akari’s place!! Azabu-Juban is a great spot, the apartment is near supermarkets, good restaurants, good bakeries, and close by to the subway. Akari gave very clear instructions, it was everything we had hoped for. We especially love the laundry and the bathroom setup to hang the cloths dry with the help of heat fan. Overall highly recommended!!!

The airbnb was a great location and near the station and we enjoyed our stay.

Kan is an incredible host and his place is lovely. The tiny home is filled with architectural details that create a beautiful and comfortable space. We were so grateful to Kan for making his tiny home a special place for us to spend our last leg of our honeymoon. The apartment is nestled in a quiet, residential neighborhood, which is ideal for taking a break from busy Tokyo. You’re near major transit lines and convenience stores, as well as a lovely park. Kan shared fantastic recommendations for breakfast and lunch nearby — and he was very accommodating to make our check in and out as seamless as possible. I’d happily return!

Kanako was awesome!! We had a sudden 7 hour delay for our flight out of Haneda leaving us stranded at the airport for 13 hours with 2 pets and no where to go. I found Kanako’s air bnb and messaged her earlier in the morning asking if we could come by around noon even though it was before check in time because we needed a place to go with our pets asap! She responded right away and let us come by whenever we were ready. The place was clean, convenient and just what we needed! It was so kind of her to take our pets too. She is an awesome host!

I had a very relaxing trip while feeling the sea breeze in a luxurious location, 30 seconds to the sea, right next to the Imperial Palace.My dog was very happy and enjoyed the walk.A very spacious house made with history and tradition and a bath with a cypress-inspired jacuzzi, refreshing at its best refreshment!It was also kept clean and well-equipped with amenities for living and cooking, and it was close to a supermarket and parking lot, so we had a pleasant time.Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy Hayama and Ichiko Coast!!

We loved our stay here at Yumiko’s place. It was perfect for our needs. It was a close walk to the subway station, right next to 711 and family mart for late night snacks/drinks. The Airbnb itself had ample space for our family of 3. It came with a supplied kitchen, washer, dryer racks, and anything else you might need. Yumiko was very responsive and great at communicating. Would definitely come back to stay here again if given the opportunity! Thanks for the amazing stay!

We had a very nice time in Nobu-san and Tatsuya-san apartment and really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was superbly furnished and Shibuya can be reached comfortably within 15-20 minutes on foot. Communication was just as fabulous. Thank you for your hospitality :) Best regards, Enrico

Yukari was more than a host, she is a friend. She is kind, friendly, helpful and very responsive. She picked us up at the station and also dropped us off when we departed. Japan is a great place to visit for its beauty, culture and especially the people. It was a last-minute reservation, but they handled it very nicely. Everything you need for a barbecue, such as plates, nets, and charcoal, was provided, so I was able to visit with peace of mind.Also, it was helpful that the refrigerator and other items were in a position where you could touch them with your shoes on. It took time to boil the water for the open-air bath, but it was a very nice experience.The house itself had a very good atmosphere and was clean, so we had a pleasant stay.

I used it for the first time. The place is very well organized and It was a very beautiful space. Large kitchens and fun I was able to cook. A terrace? A place like a BBQ, etc. I was very satisfied with what I was able to do. If you have a lot of access to the sauna, the temperature is It's down, but otherwise, there's no problem at all. I was able to make it right. The view is really good, so I lost track of time. I sat in a chair and fell in love with the view. It was nice to stay. I'd love to stay again if I get the chance. We'd love to have you.

Very cozy and unique space. If you’re a fan of creative architecture and don’t mind staying a little way outside the city this is a gem.

We had a fantastic stay, looks just like the pictures and very spacious. The location was great and if you go to the top floor of the mall across the road you might be lucky enough to get a beautiful view of mt Fuji! Our host was fabulous at replying to us and was very accommodating when our situation changed. Thank you :)

nice staying experience

I stayed for 2weeks. Sayoko was a perfect host, very responsive and helpful with suggestions and booking taxis for Toyosu tuna auction which starts at 5.30am and to the airport station etc. Her place is as published. Clean, safe and with all amenities. Stones throw away from Ginza Street with shops, kombinis, restaurants. It is also near Osaki station which is on the main Yamanote train line...same line as Shibuya, Shinjuku and many other tourist stations. I felt at home and would stay here when I return! Haletto House offers two large bedrooms and a comfortable downstairs living room. It’s a great location, close to the beach and Koshigoe shops and very close to the train station- quick and easy trip to beautiful Kamakura and Hase. Guests need to be aware that there is a steep staircase from bedrooms to the bathroom and living areas. Catherine.
