Cozy country charm

My cottage has beautiful views from every side of the house and a relaxing front porch to sit and relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. It's a cozy cottage at the foot of the mountain with lots of privacy. There are no neighbors. There are horses here to enjoy watching them graze or feed them a snack. It's truly a nice getaway and still only a half hour from 3 local towns. For warmer weather there is a firepit, picnic table, grill and some nice shaded areas to relax.

I was planning on section hiking part of the Standing Stone Trail. I was looking for a cabin in the woods. Sharon did not disappoint. The place was very clean and exactly as described. Her instructions were very easy to follow. Great all around.

I liked the house. It was new, clean and private. EV charger is an extra plus. Penn’s Cave and wildlife is a good place to visit and Harshbarger’s Sub is a restaurant I recommend. If I have to mention something to improve, there were lots of ants. I highly recommend this place.

My In-laws, husband, and I stayed two nights for a wedding in Newville. We had a great stay. The house is clean, cozy, and peaceful. Even though we didn't have time to spend the days at the house, we got good rest at night and were able to squeeze a bonfire. The area is beautiful. We got to see fireflies light up the back yard. Enjoyed coffee and sun on the rocking chair early morning listening to birds chirp. Last but not, least Janita left some yummy donuts that were delicious, went great with coffee. I highly recommend staying at Janita's. She was prompt in responding to my questions. All in all, great home and great host. Karina

We have stayed in an airbnb many times and this house was one of the most well cared for we have ever stayed in. The house was immaculate with little touches that made it a notch above most other homes. The neighborhood was safe, clean, and quiet. The commute to downtown Huntingdon was only a few minutes. We would highly recommend staying in this home whenever you are in Huntingdon.

Beautiful cabin on the water! Perfect for my week of work where I could come sit by the water in the evenings and mornings. I even caught a small mouth bass in the river before work one of the mornings. Will definitely stay again! The only warning or downfall is the billion spiders all over the outside. I never saw any indoors but they’re all over the porches areas. Be prepared to sweep them all away and see more the next day!

Great place! Very quiet and the little stream by the house provides great ambiance, loved to keep my window open when sleeping! Spacious kitchen and living room. Plenty of towels and the bathrooms were very clean! Not much to do around the area besides parks and whatnot but the home was very enjoyable to stay in, there was cornhole and a pool table! We didn't end up using the hot tub but it was warm and covered when we got there! Perfect place to stay if looking for a quiet mountain getaway!
