House vacation rentals in Shipton-under-Wychwood

Ann's place is incredible- stayed for two nights and there is everything you could possibly need or anticipate in the house. We had a great time - the pool and hot tub were very clean and the house was perfect! Ann was extremely responsive and helpful. Would absolutely book again!

We spent 6 days at Rob’s place with our 3 children. The weather was not our friend but the onsite swimming pool meant we still had a fabulous time. The hot tub was a great addition to the property. The cottage had plenty of room for us all & the spa facilities were fantastic. Great location as well, we had a lovely morning wandering around Cirencester. Rob was super helpful. We used 2 of the recommended places to eat & both were fantastic options. Lovely stay!

Lovely property, top host and perfect site that the property is located on. The only comment I would have is the Spa is ran by an angry woman called Abbie and she is what I would describe as a fun sponge. If you plan to use the spa, be ready for it and it’s a real shame you are limited on time at the spa pools (but this is nothing to do with this property) They also have a hot tub coming soon, shame we missed it but we will be back!

We had a great stay at the barn, celebrating a big birthday. There were 6 adults staying and we were all extremely comfortable. Mike and Joan were very hospitable, generous and responsive. The barn is as fabulous as the photos suggest. The views are amazing. The pool is wonderful. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We very much hope to return.

My wife and I had a lovely time at Lucy’s, we were so fortunate to experience the gorgeous manor and its grounds! Everything was in pristine condition and comfortable. The coach house had everything needed and Lucy was a great help to make our time extra special. This is the perfect place for a romantic and special experience for those who appreciate historical properties and beautiful gardens. If we are ever in the area again we will be sure to book the manor!

Ian's place was a perfect spot for our group while attending a local wedding. Very cute and charming, full of all the amenities needed, and a lovely welcome basket was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend booking Ian's place to anybody interested.

Beautiful home! Absolutely loved staying here. The grounds were so gorgeous and the property was 5 star hotel standard. It’s not often that you stay somewhere that the beds are comfier than your own and these were. They had thought of every little detail. Couldn’t recommend more.

Fantastic stay at Victory Cottage. This was our first time to the Cotswolds and we absolutely would return to this wonderful cottage. The city of Cirencester was perfect and the walk into town each day was wonderful. You are only 7 min walk from great restaurants, shops and pubs and the town itself had several things going on when we were there. We visited neighboring villages that were all in driving distance and easy to get too. The cottage was also very accessible in Cirencester, getting in and out of the village was easy! Design and functionality in the cottage was top notch! Highly recommend.

Middle Cottage was perfect for a long weekend away from the city. Interior was as good as Soho House and we loved the artwork and range of books to look through. We enjoyed walks nearby and The Bull pub for dinner one evening- highly recommend!

We loved our stay at the cottage, will definitely be back! Walking distance to the centre but situated on a quiet street so you get the best of both. Our host Ross was great. He also gave us recommendations for nice restaurants which were fab!

Another fantastic stay

We had a lovely 6 night stay at Strawtop Cottage 2. We were 4 adults and the accommodations were delightful. The beds were so comfortable. The cottage is beautifully styled and maintained to an impeccable standard. Every detail, from the tasteful decor to the comfortable furnishings, is first class. Josie and Charlie are wonderful hosts that go above and beyond. They welcomed us with generous local goodies that added a lovely personal touch. The amenities throughout are wonderful and the recommendations they gave us for places to visit and dine were on point. We highly recommend Strawtop Cottage to anyone looking for a wonderful experience at a charming cottage in a lovely village easily accessible to all that the Cotswolds has to offer. Thank you again Josie and Charlie for making our first trip to the Cotswolds absolutely perfect! We will be back!

We had the most beautiful and enjoyable stay. In my recent experiences sometimes the pictures are amazing and when you get there it's not quite that good! This however was the other way round. The pictures don't do it justice. It's so lovely and spotlessly clean. communication was very responsive too. Would definitely like to stay again. Thank you Lilli. 😊 x

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Harland House in Charlbury is an absolute Cotswolds gem. The location cannot be beat and the house is in excellent condition, but it’s the thoughtful touches that make it special. From the umbrellas and basket of slippers waiting at the door to the abundance of cozy hot water bottles and a breathtakingly beautiful garden! The crisp white bedding and fluffy towels add a luxurious touch. Juliet, the host, has truly thought of everything. Do not hesitate to book this property—a perfect stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. The location was fantastic, within easy walking distance for all that the pretty town has to offer. The house was well equipped and the bedrooms very comfortable. We also enjoyed the outdoor space which was lovely. I would definitely come back!

Very comfortable house with great views and lovely gardens. Although in a very private location, it was in easy distance of local amenities and many of the great places to visit in the Cotswolds.

Clementine Cottage is perfectly located, a short walk to Woodstock or Blenheim Palace, and close to all the delights of the Cotswolds and Oxford. The cottage has been tastefully restored and decorated, with all the facilities for a very comfortable stay. We stayed as four adults and the cottage had everything we needed, clean, well maintained and good value. Nice touches all around made it a home from home feel. We will look to stay again.

Amazing stay at Bank house. We were so pleased with the property. Absolutely beautiful and in a great location for us. The property had everything we needed and some lovely extra touches left by the host too :) Would highly recommend!

Absolutely stunning cottage, in a peaceful countryside village. The house felt like a home, with decor and ample utensils. The garden area blew us all away - beautifully designed, large, and in top condition. William was a fantastic host, always responsive and there to answer any questions. There were a couple of small things, but this is a new Airbnb listing so hopefully will be rectified: - the oven is an expensive AGA, and takes 6 hours to turn on. Would recommend asking your guests if they want this on for when they arrive. Although a quick, 'portable' electric hob at the house saved the day - there was no kitchen roll, foil, clingfilm, or scowling pad which wouldve been nice - dishwasher tablets should definitely be there - the road was easy to find, but maybe instructions on where it is would be helpful as it didnt come up on Google maps These are very, very small things, to what was an unreal stay at a stunning accommodation. Would highly recommend - we will be returning!

Tara’s and her families home is absolutely beautiful. We booked a very last minute stay and they were extremely accommodating from the moment we booked to when we left. Sending us lots of recommendations of walks and places to eat which was really appreciated. We had a lovely long weekend there. The local pub did a great Sunday Lunch and the Distillery was a very short walk away and great for lunch. We also did a day trip to Bourton on the water and Chipping Norton. Would highly recommend and hope to return. Thank you :)

Lovely cottage, just like the photos! Highlights included a clean spacious bathroom, comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. Easy to find and clear instructions given on how to access the cottage / use the facilities provided :)

Stable Barn was fantastic - it was so homely, so well kept and clean. Plus it had everything we could ever need, particularly in the kitchen. The area is beautiful and Little Rissington was a great location to be able to access our favourite parts of the Cotswolds. The only slight disappointment was that we requested stair gates, and reconfirmed 5 days before our stay, but they weren't there when we arrived. Luckily they were tucked in several cupboards so we were able to sort it ourselves. But bear in mind if booking with an adventurous toddler.

The cottage was outstanding. It was beautifully decorated and cozy to stay in. The kitchen was easy to cook in, especially with a food market nearly next door. The town was beautiful and peaceful with quick drives to other top Cotswolds spots. Highly recommend.
