In order to provide a cheap accommodation fee, we also use reuse furniture, so there will be some dirt, etc.Please understand. Surrounded by woods, the sound of birds during the day.There is also a deer crowing at night. Get away from it all and spend time under the stars in the garden. The location is in front of the Takatsubashi bus stop and has excellent access. You can take a bus from the accommodation to Hongu Taisha, Kawayu Onsen, Yunomine Onsen, and Shingu Station. There is no bath, but there is a shower room. If you want to take a bath, you can also go to the nearby Kawayu Onsen. The owner is a local Kumano Kodo guide, so we will do our best to accommodate your questions and advice about walking the Kumano Kodo, as well as pick-up and drop-off when you need it. 1 minute walk from Shingu Station. 2 minutes from the bus stop. It is a Japanese-style house with a small Japanese courtyard. You can try on valuable samurai armor, helmets, and bridal gowns (kimono)for free. The house is reserved for a group of 3 or more people per day. Please relax as if you were at home. We usually accept up to 8 people, but we can accommodate up to 10 people on request. There is a convenience store in front of the house, which is very convenient.

Stay in a renovated traditional house and support free school.

This is a private rental inn in an old house that was renovated by the children of the free school "Kumanobi" through crowdfunding. Staying will support free school. Please relax and enjoy yourself in a natural environment. It is a 10-minute drive from Kumano Hongu Taisha Shrine, and pick-up and drop-off is also possible. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. Meals are not included, but a homemade bread set is included with breakfast.

Nostalgic Beach House A private guesthouse in Nigishima, Kumano City, facing the calm Nigishima Bay. To reach it, climb about 50 steps (5 min) for a rewarding view. *Note: not suitable for those with limited mobility. There is no TV or clock—disconnect and relax. *Extra fee applies for 2+ guests. For safety, a motion-sensor camera is at the entrance; it only takes still photos when someone passes, never continuous video, ensuring privacy.

"Genki House", a house near Kumano Hongu-Taisha

It’s a house 8km from the Hongu Taisha. (about 15 minutes' drive) If you have a car it's more convenient, but if not I'll be happy to drive you to and from a bus stop or a tourism spot in Hongu area. My family run an organic farm, bakery, NPO offering long-stay for the youth, and an alternative school for children nearby. You'll have some loaves of bread from our bakery(^^)/ （If you don't eat bread please let me know beforehand)
