Family-friendly vacation rentals in Wakayama

It was a good experience for the first time a group of families traveling and staying in a B&B!Come again next summer!

I appreciate that the host introduced local restaurants and attractions. The location is a bit inconvenient, it would be better to drive there. The room was clean but a bit old.

Stayed here to explore the surrounding nature. location was very close to most of the restaurants, which made it very easy to grab dinner at the end of a long day and be 5 mins away from home. provided blankets and beds were very comfortable and felt warm and welcoming. It had everything we needed and we would definitely stay again!

Very spacious Eight of us stayed together, but we had a pleasant time. The location was good and it was close to Shirahama Beach

and it was a very comfortable and enjoyable trip.There is a river in front of you, a mountain in the back, and if you want to be assessed in a natural environment. There were two buildings, and it was a way to stay in one of them.Either way, you can prepare to have a BBQ, and it was convenient to use equipment, plates, knives, etc. that can be used as a wife to a certain extent. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

We had a short but wonderful stay at your place. The house was enormous and if the weather was better my children would have loved swimming at the river. I must say the host was very accommodating, we cannot thank them enough for going above and beyond to assist our family during our stay there. We finished our Kumano Kodo walk much earlier than anticipated, it had been raining non-stop and we were all very tired, wet and cold. Our lovely host picked us up and despite the language barrier we met the most kindest sweetest couple who drove us to our accommodation and showed us around the beautiful place. The place was spotless, comfortable, and warm and would not hesitate for go back there. Thank you for our lovely stay at your much. It was a great way to relax after a 4 day hike.

Had an amazing time! We stayed at this place to visit Nitama at nearby Kishi station. The host Hiroe was super friendly and drove us to the station and grocery store. The house is gorgeous and exactly as described. 10 out of 10 would stay here again!! Thank you Hiroe!

The place is so spacious and equip with everything. The location is great. The coin laundry just downstair. The parking lot is just across the steeet. We’re really had a great time there. Really recommend for stay in Wakayama.

I enjoyed my stay at Genki House. Yuki is very friendly and bakes really tasty bread. The accommodation is very large and clean. It is in a quiet neighborhood away from the touristed areas. You should ask to pick up groceries/food/anything else you might need before arriving to the Genki House.

The place was exactly as pictured and described.Close to the sea, we enjoyed our stay in Shirahama-cho.

It's a very good homestay 3rd floor king bed is oversized, you can also watch the stars on the bed Special place The environment is peaceful without light pollution, you can also see the stars on your head, My husband said that the sound is very good, you can also listen to music, classical music, unconventional homestay, there are so many lights in the whole house, the big bathtub on the 2nd floor is very large, you can come and stay once, you can feel my mood.

Awesome getaway.The host is welcoming and provided homemade plum wine, which is very, very delicious.The environment is elegant, the stars at night are very bright, the space is very refreshing, the tatami is comfortable, clean and cozy... if I had the time, I really don't want to leave ~

Kenji's home was spacious and incredibly clean. It was exactly as described. When we arrived, we met Kenji's mother who showed us how to enter the place. She also walked us through the home and demonstrated how to use the hot water and A/C unit. She was incredibly helpful! My partner and I stayed in Shingu to hike the Koguchi-goe and Ogumotori-goe trails for two days. We started our day by walking to the nearby bus stops and traveling to the trailheads. Because of the home's location, we were also able to finish our days at local restaurants. We plan to stay here again in the future!
