Traditional Japanese House With a Design Twist

Welcome to KinoMa! Located in Okuwa village along the historic Nakasendo route, KinoMa is a traditional Japanese house with a long history since 1868. In its past, the house was used for silk production, and later became home to a local pharmacist who served the community. The house was purchased by Kana and Machi, two friends who met in Tokyo. We've welcomed countless friends over the years, and now we're opening its doors to others to enjoy the space we've poured so much work and love into.
