Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Shimane

This is a great traditional Japanese House. It is close to the train and the buses. Yoshiharu is a great host. There was great tourist guides and instructions for the house. The bullet train is close to the property, but we had no issues with the noise. We had a great stay and would highly recommend. Thanks

We (unfortunately) had only a very brief stay in Hiroshima but enjoyed the house very much. There are quite a few restaurants and shops within a 10 minute walking radius.

Great place to stay. Everything was great except that WIFI was bad as it was portable.

It is impossible to put in 1000 characters how nice was the whole experience. We were looking for a traditional tatami style house on our Japan voyage and this one has exceeded our expectations. The most welcoming host that greet us with green tea and maple leaf mini cake. We were shown around the property and explained how everything works. The place is beautiful, peaceful, squeaky clean and it got some historic items on the display. The best 2 moments was sitting in the evening on the edge of our bedroom overlooking little garden while drinking sake and eating local snacks. 2nd was morning coffee still in bed looking at the same garden in a daylight. It’s a shame we only had 1 night at Hiroshima in our fully packed Japan itinerary but we definitely will be back in the future. ❤️

The check-in procedure was easy to understand, and the room was clean and very comfortable.It's a futon-style bed, so people who usually sleep on soft beds may feel that it is hard.It was nice to have plenty of dishes and tea sets for service.However, regular coffee powder was provided, but the style was to stick a lightweight spoon into the powder, so it may not be suitable for people who are concerned about touching it directly.　I thought the quick reply to messages was very good.

Very nicely situated spacious appartment, just don‘t come with too heavy luggage. :)

Our family of 5 had a great stay at Manami's place. All there as advertised, close to train station but quiet street. Manami was an excellent communicator. A positive experience all round.

Great quirky apartment which we wish could have stayed longer in. Loads of space and loads to discover. Plus really convenient for the train station

It's very tidy and very clean to stay in. I'm sensitive to dust, but it was very clean, so I slept well without coughing.

The best airbnb for your stay in Hiroshima!! Very close from touristy activities and from the tram station. Also super clean as well, I would 100% recommend!

This accommodation is spacious, extremely well maintained and close to many key places in Hiroshima. 20 min walk to the train station, 20 min walk to Memorial Park, 15 min walk to the shopping center. There are many konbinis nearby as well as public transport. Michinari is responsive and accommodating for check-in (even if it is done independently). There are two bedrooms, a kitchen and dining area, a small traditional tatami-style space, a bathroom, toilets and even a washing machine. Laundry, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and clean towels are available. Thanks a lot for this stay, we really enjoyed resting in this beautiful apartment!

Great spot only a 15 min walk from the station and good spot if you want to go into the city or to Miyajima island! House was cozy and well looked after :)

Unit is very spacious. Near to restaurants, bus stops and convenience stores. Convenient location. All listed amenities are there.

This was literally in the best location to everything you need. Walking distance to streetcar, big shopping, restaurants and peace memorial park. We would defiantly stay here again! The space was bigger than expecting and bigger than most places in downtown area.

It was very kind and nice. It was convenient because it was in the center of the downtown area. It's on a street that specializes in night culture, so you may feel a little noisy. It is a great location for fun with friends.

We had zero issues entering. The place is not fancy but does the job. It was clean and the host was super helpful and responsive. The sleeping room was quiet. The washing machine has a dryer which was super welcome!

Our host was super responsive and helpful at all times. We had to make a last minute change to our booking and he was incredibly accommodating and kind. The place itself is the perfect spot for a stay in Onomichi. We were super close to the bike rental and starting point for the big cycle so it was super convenient. The host had clearly thought about what would help guests feel comfortable in his place, and we were grateful to have everything we needed. I’d highly recommend!

great apartment, really high end and very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and just the sort of place you want to spend time in while travelling around. 20 min walk to sea temple ferry and atomic dome/ park / museum. good bakeries nearby and tram / bus stop 5 mins away. the location on a main road, and traffic noise, won't be to everyone's liking, but this is a lovely place to stay.

This apartment was as described and is in a very good location with short walks to most local points of interest. There's a lovely restaurant on the first floor of the building which was convenient. Lots of room for larger families or groups.

Great place to stay in beautiful Onomichi, close to the train station, restaurants and waterfront. Close to a big supermarket and good bakery and the sea. The new building has three floors. We stayed on the ground floor which I recommend. The apartment is Newham, and has a big bathroom. The bed is comfortable. The place is big enough for two people staying, and well heated in December.

Great location to explore Onomichi on foot. Comfortable stay with cooking utensils (including rice cooker) and washing machine and inbuilt drying room. Makes washing clothes everyday very easy.

This condo is very spacious and modern. We were impressed with the cleanliness and thoughtfulness in little things like drip coffee packets and other amenities. The location is only 5-10mins walk from onomichi station, and about 3 mins to AEON supermarket where you can do all your grocery shopping. The house has a lot of sunlight and it was a very comfortable stay.
