Knotty pine nearly throughout, whirlpool bathtub, granite countertop, new appliances, washer/dryer. Cookware & dinnerware provided. Outdoor gas grill (& older charcoal) and fire bowl (bring own firewood). WiFi not available & cell service is marginal. There is a queen sz bed downstairs, & a sofa bed (w/sm defect), the loft has a futon that flattens into small double bed, and there are 2 twin beds. No large, loud parties that go on into the night as there are neighbors, including the owners.

Located just 30 minutes from the northwest metro you can avoid all the hectic weekend travel and spend more time on the lake! We do have a fishing/swimming dock but it's not designed for boats. The yard down to the lake is a bit steep and may be challenging for those with mobility issues.

"This beautiful little cabin sits on the point of the lake water all around you on Indian Lake. Great access to snowmobile trails. This is a small place on a septic system with only 2 vehicle parking." Also 1 door down is another cabin called Cast-Away. Also have a pontoon for rent. Pontoon rental $200 per day with Gas, $50 cleaning fee if not clean.

Beautiful property right on a peaceful lake. Loved the sand beach area and all the water gear, especially the kayaks. Fishing was great right off the dock. House was clean and kitchen well stocked. A very homey atmosphere. Jackie was super friendly and available for any questions. Fun was had by all!

Threw a bachelor party here and had an absolute blast! The property was truly amazing and exceeded all of our expectations. There was so much to do that we never once got bored. Our host was very friendly and always quick to respond. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as pictured in the listing. 10/10 will definitely come back if we ever do something like this again. Highly recommend for group gatherings!

my boyfriend and i booked this cabin as a couple’s getaway to celebrate his birthday and it was perfect! the cabin itself was so cozy, but still very modern and sleek! however, the highlight of this property has to be the beautiful lake views and the hot tub! we spent a lot of time on the outdoor couch just relaxing and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere :) a couple things worth noting are the griddle was pretty dirty and covered in old solidified grease which was a bit disappointing since we had already bought food to cook on there and didn’t get to do that as planned, but this wasn’t a hugeee deal to us tho and wasn’t worth lowering the rating over. additionally, response time could be a little faster but i understand that it’s the weekend and people are busy! katie was very friendly otherwise and i’d definitely recommend her cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Craig was a fantastic host. He was very flexible with our check in time and very responsive and accommodating to our needs. The ivy cottage was perfect! It had everything we needed for 4 people (and two dogs) and we were able to take out the boat and use the paddle boards. We would definitely stay out here again!

We enjoyed our stay at John & Marissa’s home on Cedar Lake for MLK weekend with two other couples. They were very responsive, helpful, and flexible hosts, having agreed to both an hour earlier arrival and late checkout. There was ample, comfortable sleeping quarters for all of us. The living space with views of the lake is lovely, with a comfy, large couch and nice area for TV watching and playing games. There was plenty of wood for the sauna & the stove was large enough to heat it up quickly, despite the frigid January temps! Plenty of parking in the driveway as well. Because it was so cold, we didn’t get the opportunity to explore the area or get outdoors a lot, but a few of us enjoyed a beautiful winter hike at Lake Maria State Park on our way there. We had a great weekend and highly recommend their place!
