Large country cottage near Wincanton, sleeps 4-6.

NickRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Everything very clean and tidy in an excellent barn conversion. Lovely location in quaint village. Very nice to have 'starter kit' of bread, milk eggs and useful that food/cooking items left so it saved having to buy everything. Very friendly host and on-site if any issues, which there weren't. And pub with good beer and excellent food 1 minute walk away. And good quality towels!

Farm Cottage in Idyllic Setting

SorehRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We had a wonderful three night stay in the cottage on Higher Cuttlesham Farm. It’s in a beautiful, peaceful location - no traffic noises so complete silence at night and the dawn chorus in the morning. It was lovely seeing the horses in the field, and we fell in love with Siobhan’s dogs, and nearly sneaked one of them into the car to take her back home with us! A highly recommended stay. Thank you Siobhan.

Pippins - Luxury Farm Getaway

AmandaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a lovely place, we loved it 🥰 Fantastic peaceful and private location. Well thought out property, really nice interiors, spacious, and well equipped. It felt really homely. Fresh eggs from the farm and biscuits on arrival were a treat. We didn’t meet Helen but she was a great responsive host before and during our stay. We hope to be back when we’re next in the area.

The Old Rectory Retreat - Spacious secluded luxury

HollyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We were visiting family locally but would have come to stay here anyway as the accommodation is very special and in a beautiful rural locality. Sean and Zoe could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The accommodation is really comfortable and with interesting furniture and art works . The king size bed was luxurious and the view from the bedroom overlooking the hills beyond was a wonderful start to the day. Lamyatt is a very pretty village close to National Trust properties, lovely rural walks and great pubs and restaurants within a short driving distance. Bruton and Castle Cary , the local towns, have plenty of interesting shops. Wells is also nearby with the Bishops Palace and the Cathedral. We were there over Armistice Sunday and went to a service there. The Retreat is well named, tucked at the back of Old Rectory and is completely private. But Sean and Zoe were always on hand to help in any way. Thank you so much - we would love to come back.

Stylish 4-bedroom townhouse in the heart of Bruton

GigiRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Fantastic stay. Flexible and responsive hosts. Property was better in person than in the pictures. Large, spacious, cozy and bright with an enviable book collection. Steps away from shops, pubs, and food options. And 5 mins walking from St Mary’s Church, will def be back next time traveling through these parts !!
The exterior of the cottage features stone walls and multiple windows that allow natural light to enter. A small table and two chairs are placed in the garden area, surrounded by greenery and blooming flowers. An archway formed by climbing plants adds to the charm of the entrance.

We had the most delightful time exploring Bruton with Jocelyn’s lovely Apple Store as our base! It was the perfect size for the two of us - very cosy inside and with the most gorgeous front garden. Jocelyn was a warm and friendly host. We highly recommend a stay here! 🍎🍏🍎

Clarence Cottage Castle Cary

SusanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a wonderful place to stay for a quiet, peaceful, holiday. The cottage was more spacious than I expected. It was spotlessly clean, with a well equipped kitchen and lots of fluffy towels and blankets. We slept upstairs, the bed was very comfy. The lounge has two comfy sofas, the shower was hot and powerful. The outdoor area is a small enclosed courtyard and would be suitable for a small dog. There is a table and 4 chairs and one sun lounger outside. The courtyard backs onto the private car park, so easy to reach your car. The cottage is at the rear of the Bay tree pub which is also run by Rennie and her family. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. There are local shops and supermarkets a few minutes away. Rennie and her husband were friendly and helpful and queries were answered immediately. They recommended places to visit. An ideal location to visit the Bath and West show at Shepton Mallet. I would highly recommend this lovely cottage
A charming streetscape features historic brick and stone buildings with varied architectural styles. A tall clock tower stands prominently, while a directional sign with multiple arrows points to local attractions. The scene is set against a backdrop of partly cloudy blue skies.
