Every aspect of this trip was amazing and it started with crystal effectively communicating before we even left home. From recommendations to using the metro, she had us covered. The location could not be more perfect in regards to getting to the Capital, monuments and great resteraunts. The neighborhood felt safe and walking around was truly a pleasure. The accommodations were lovely and very comfortable. Everything was clean and easy to use, and very we thought out. Loved it!

This is our second time here and we love it! It’s very beautiful, quiet, peaceful and super comfortable and clean. It’s always great to chat with Pete and Kyle, and with 2 kids at JMU, we hope to come again soon!

Great place to stay for a D.C. trip. We walked to the Metro each morning and took that downtown. It was about a 15 minute walk and is great if you’re fine with that. It’s tucked away nicely and feels like a safe area too. Overall a great stay.

Quiet comfortable and close to all areas we visited. Highly recommend! Spacious rooms, comfy bed and beautiful country location.

The apartment is cozy and comfortable. The beds had pillow options which was very nice. The bathroom comes stocked with basic toiletries, one less thing you have to pack. The host respond promptly and recommended some great restaurants. If they need to open the garage (which you are above) while you are there, it is loud. However, this only happened once and they sent us a message warning us before opening it, which was very thoughtful and appreciated! With that said, I would definitely stay here again! We came to see the natural chimneys, a short 15 min drive away through scenic rolling hills and farms. Downtown Harrisonburg is a beautiful 40 min drive away and full of lovely little shops and restaurants. Note: when driving to the house, check that your GPS sends you on Bunker Hill Rd (SR-760) to Big Valley Ln and not down Fairburn Rd. There is a blocked and private driveway which connects Big Valley Ln and Fairburn Rd that appears on GPS as a legitimate road. P.S. don’t use Waze.

Nice place, good for a couple, a residential area of DC east of the Capital, very walkable and quiet. Comfortable bed, good water pressure, and noise from host upstairs very intermittent and not a problem. Would stay again.

It was a clean, comfortable and well set up cozy place to stay. It had the amenities for a relaxed stay. The host was responsive and available with solutions to questions asked. We had a good time. Would stay there when next in Maryland. Azuoma

What can I say. From the second I pulled up in the car, I was greeted and made to feel at home. Visiting from the UK on my own that was very nice to experience. I’d recommend booking a spot at their bar if you get the chance ;-).

This is our second time staying at Liz's beautiful place and it was just as lovely as the time before. Just like last time a couple years back, my girlfriend and I took a trip out to Shenandoah and opted to stay here. It isn't too far from the park (depending on which side you leave from) and the drive there is very pleasant. The place is very private, clean, and spacious. For a shared space, we barely ever knew that there were people above us. The inside was immaculate, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The shower was very spacious and they even have a heater in the bathroom so that you aren't cold when you leave the shower. A simple, yet awesome amenity. Liz was communicative throughout the entire process. Just like before, my girlfriend and I highly recommend this place or any other of Liz's AirBnBs.

the shower is as advertised, and the bed was very comfortable. Justin was looking out for me with check in time and keeping an eye on the local temperature. the bathroom and bed were, i’m sure, better than any local hotel. it’s a great value, highly recommended!

This is the best stay if you are wanting to stay outside of downtown DC but walkable to the capitol. Close to metro stations and the navy yard by a short walk. In the description, they are very clear that you are on the bottom floor of their home so you can hear them moving around in the morning and at night but it was never too much for us. We had three people and two slept on bed and one on the pull out couch. Both were very comfortable and we slept great. The host was very flexible with our check in and let us check in early! Overall, we loved this stay! A lovely and safe neighborhood!

Antonio’s place was great! A nice clean space and perfect for our weekend getaway. Very responsive host, good street parking availability, and close by to metro stations when traveling into DC. It had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Aliya's place is perfect in every way and I absolutely loved my stay there! Everything about it makes you feel at home, and Aliya is a very thoughtful and proactive host. The space itself was spotless, the bed is incredibly comfortable, and there's no shortage of entertainment options. Additionally, the gym is much more well-equipped than a traditional hotel gym. Also, the area surrounding the location is very peaceful and the neighborhood includes a scenic walking trail, and there's plenty of restaurant and grocery options an easy 10 min drive away. I would highly recommend staying here, and I would certainly return again when in the area.

Serena was an amazing host. She was very responsive and periodically checked in with us to make sure that everything was great. We had our infant and she thoughtfully set up a pack n play for us which was so helpful so we didn’t have to pack a travel bassinet. We have another trip to DC later this year and I would definitely stay again.

Communication, attention to detail with respect to instructions, cleanliness, apartment layout, spaciousness: couldn't ask for more. This basement apartment has lots of nice window light. Windows open easily if that's desired. Full kitchen. Washer and drier. Great place for a couple with up to two small children (bunk beds). This area long MacArthur Boulevard, the C&O Canal, and the Potomac River is one of my favorites in the DC metro area. Lots of good restaurants and stores within a short drive. The magnificent Glen Echo Park is right at the bottom of the hill. Met Jason. Very pleasant and helpful. Shu's thoughtful touches are everywhere. Like this one: "Let go of it." Highly recommend.

Mark’s apartment was beautifully furnished, yet nice and cozy. The kitchen and bathroom were top notch. The only thing I would mention is that the bedrooms are connected, and I did not realize that when booking. If you look at the pictures closely, you can tell, but I apparently didn’t look that hard (lol). Overall, 5 stars, and I would definitely stay again.

My wife and I came here for our honeymoon. We could not have asked or wished for a better place to stay in spite of the limited funds we had for a bigger out of the country vacation for our honeymoon. Tebebe was very friendly and his family welcomed us with wine and chocolates; very nice gesture to grant us for our occasion. The whole space was rich in design, very comfortable, and the beds were so soft and comfortable we had the best sleep we had for a while. The entertainment system in the living room was top tier, we didn’t even have to go to the movie theater, we enjoyed movie theater quality sound in the comfort of the guest house. Tebebe designed the home very nice with beautiful paintings hung up throughout the property. My only drawback will be that the shower door does not close all the way shut. Aside from that, everything was amazing. We will definitely visit here again when we vacation in Maryland.

David and Agi were great host, it was a very fun experience, my friends and I visited DC for the first time and it was only a short 20 minute drive to downtown and George Town where we spent most of the time, the air bnb was very clean and looked exactly like the photos it was also very private and quiet. David and Agi were very nice and flexible with the parking and instructions on checking in and checking out were very clear. The Airbnb had all we needed, we could’ve had asked for a better place to stay, my friends and I made a great decision, we will be back in the future. Thank you so much David and Agi!

We absolutely loved this place!! It was perfectly set up, especially for a family with a kiddo! The kitchen was well stocked with utensils in case we wanted to cook and the location cannot be beat!

This place was perfect for our little getaway. It was very spacious and had all the amenities that we needed. The area was very peaceful and close to many things. Trader Joe’s and whole food like 5 minutes away, bunch of trendy restaurants in Georgetown about 10 mins. It was great location since it only took us about 15 min drive in Downtown DC for our sightseeing locations. The host was very quick to respond to any questions. It was a great value. I would definitely stay again.

Claire and logan were great hosts with a lovely airbnb. they left us snacks, coffee, tea, and beers to use and we're very accommodating with our group and check-in details. The place is a 10 minute walk from the downtown mall and not far at all from the corner. A great place to spend a weekend in charlottesville!

The apartment was very spacious, clean and in a nice and calm neighborhood. The hosts did communicate in an excellent and fast way and helped us out with some smaller requests we had. We felt so comfortable in the apartment and enjoyed watching TV and cooking. In only a few car minutes you can visiting all the important sight. We can highlight recommend Michael and Regina.
