Farmstay vacation rentals in Sharchi

This was a pleasant 3 day break from Delhi mainstream life. We chose Devanshi’s place for its location in the Himalayas in the midst of apple orchards. The real experience exceeded our expectations. We were recd very warmly by both Michael and Devanshi after a 12- hour road trip which was exhausting. Both of them are very warm and personable and give you the space to be with yourself. Michael took care of taking us hiking and was very patient with our level of preparedness for the hike. Devanshi is a very good cook with expertise in many cuisines. She treats you to home-made jams which are quite unique and tasty. Devanshi’s parents are very warm and her father is a core Himachali with Kullu cap. The weather was just perfect in October to explore the place and theirs is a very large Himachali home with a billiards room as also a library. All in all, a very good experience and would go there again whenever possible.

Place - There’s a perfect road to the place, you will not have to do any hike to the place which makes it super friendly for elder people, there’s ample parking, the rooms and overall house is very spacious. You have perfect garden where you will find different types of plants including flowering plans and vegetable & fruit plants. For adventurous youth there’s a small pretty hike just behind the house which can be done by people of any age. You can witness amazing sunrise and sunsets just from the balconies along with starry nights. Overall all there’s no downside to this place. Host - Chetan ji is the best host you will ever meet, he will never say no to you for anything and will truly treat you like family. He will guide you for anything or anyplace you want to go, super awesome person you will ever find. He’s a rare gem. Amenities & food: perfect home cooked meals made from ingredients directly from his garden. Everything that is mentioned or you want will be available. Worth it

It was a wonderful stay, we stayed at the tree house which was a wonderful experience. It was a family vacation with our new family member our little kitten, the experience for her and us was great. The tree house, orchard and the lawn was our little one's favorite. Loved the wonderful home cooked food served, especially the Siddu and rajma. Ambrish is a very friendly host, you can ask him for local recommendation. Would recommend this place to people seeking peace and green surroundings yet drivable distance from Manali and Naggar.

The place is really beautiful- so beautiful that the pictures don't do justice to the reality. Vinay ji is a great host, always helpful and available with suggestions. A walk through the hill forest - with it's apple, cherry and wild species was a treat for all of us. The anecdotes and stories of the history of the land, local knowledge about various plant species and it's uses - really liked that part. Food was also great and like home cooked food. Our family of 9 simply loved every bit of it. My 2 year old daughter is still clamouring to go back to Kotgarh and I am promising her that we will try to be back next year 😀

place is really good. you have to do a hike of 4 km to reach here .. almost entire parvati valley comes in the view. away from the crowd it's a very chill place to stay. food was amazing. the host was very helpful.

Reached the location without hitch due to the clear instructions and communication. The hosts were very hospitable and actually took us for a forest trail walk. Met some lovely people at the resort. Lovely fruit trees around the house. The rooms were clean and the dining area and balcony provided the perfect hangout place. We mainly ate at the nearby restaurants which were quite good. About 5 minutes walk from the resort are some stunning valley views.

Veer and family have a great place, very well kept and serene. If you have a chance do eat there too; Veer’s grandmother puts together lovely dinner feasts. It was a perfect place for me to relax after some hectic travelling. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

I’ll truly recommend to stay in Swarg Cottage in Naggar, Manali. The Service, the food, the view and overall cottage is so good. Behaviour of the care taker(Deepu ji) the owner of the cottage(Yash ji) is so nice towards the tourist. If you want to experience a peaceful life then go for Swarg cottage. Chiki(there dog) will also guide you till the cottage and you will love the company of there dogs(Chiki & Coco). I will give 10 on 10 to this cottage experience. Surely i will stay back in the Swarg Cottage if i will visit Manali again.

For anyone who wants to spend some time surrounded by nature and away from city rush, this is a perfect place. The house is a mix of modern and old Pahari architecture. The core of the house is old and traditional while modern facilities have been added later. The outcome is a nice cozy and rustic place. We had the whole house to ourselves as Divya, our host, was travelling. However, she was in touch with us over the phone and her directions were clear and easy to follow. The house was immaculately clean and had everything required for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well equipped, rooms are cozy, balconies are a treat to sit in and porches are delightful. We cooked, read, lazed in balconies and porches, explored the orchard and surrounding woods and had a great time overall. Instead of taking out the car, we found a forest trail to market that was simply blissful and good daily exercise. The time we spent here has certainly energized us all. Highly recommended.

Amazing overall experience. Property is perfectly placed in a peaceful environment and very well managed.Kids enjoyed the most as there are a lot of farm animals to interact with. Farm is located in less explored Karsog valley so the environment is calm, relaxed and perfect for a peaceful get away. We went to shikari Devi temple which is a surreal experience. Rawat (chesta) family welcomed us in their home. Amazing home cooked organic food, so we never felt that we are eating any junk as it’s the case on most of the vacations. Over all an awesome experience and we would definitely like to do it again.

This place super amazing. I went at the onset of the Monsoon season, perfect for a getaway drive.

The location of this property, near the famous Naina Devi Temple, is very beautiful. Ritesh is an exceptional host, treating us as if we were members of his family. His punctuality is truly commendable. The homemade food provided is absolutely amazing, which we greatly appreciated since we are not fond of fast food. Overall, our experience was excellent.

Happy to visit prabhat’s place… rooms very neat and clean… food provided was very delicious and fresh… parking was easily available (in front of house only)… he is also very informative himself (told us about nearby waterfall and other places to visit)… will surely prefer staying again here.

Their local recommendations added an extra layer of enjoyment to our trip, and we felt truly welcomed throughout our stay. 3. Family-Friendly: As a family traveling with a child, we were delighted to find that the Airbnb was not only family-friendly but also catered to our specific needs.

Dogri – A Hidden Gem in Ratnari My stay at Dogri, hosted by Sanjay and Akshita, was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the picturesque village of Ratnari, this charming Airbnb offers a perfect blend of nature, comfort, and warm hospitality. The property itself is a beautiful vintage-style homestay, thoughtfully designed to reflect the traditional charm of the region while ensuring all modern comforts. The surrounding apple orchards, vegetable gardens, and lush plantations create a serene and refreshing atmosphere that makes you want to stay forever. One of the highlights of Dogri is its adorable resident animals. Their friendly dog, Beswa, was always around to greet us with wagging enthusiasm, while Khobli, the cat, gracefully roamed the property, adding to its homely feel. The sheep, Loblu, was an absolute delight to watch, and the ponds filled with ducks and fish made the entire experience feel straight out of a storybook. I can’t wait to return! Highly recommended.

My experience at Samsara Homestay has been nothing short of 'out of the ordinary'. The farmstay is nestled beautifully in a quaint village with calming views. Every nook and corner has been creatively crafted with love. The vibe & energy of the spaces will definitely take you for a splendid spin. Srikant & Nitika are extremely friendly hosts and made my stay extremely welcoming. I would highly recommend Samsara Farmstay to any traveller who is looking for an offbeat experience in terms of stay location, ghar ka khana and travel the less explored vistas of Himachal.

Rare combination of hospitality and genuine effort to provide guests with experience they will never forget. Of course the location of the property is something to be seen to believe. Minor inconvenience is somewhat long road drive to Jai,s place from nearest airport or main city but if some one is traveling to enjoy nature then the drive also will take your breath away.

Something more than 5stars would have been better. Tarun's place is a perfect combination of peache, serene, magnificent surroundings, and the list goes on. Moreover, the caretaker Anil, he can't be praised here, a complete book will be less to describe him. Plus, he is a super amazing cook. Few good places and treks arealso there nearby. Even, the approach road is also well paved now. I visited with i10, and it was a piece of cake to drive there.

i am late in posting the review because of my travel but have been wanting to post it as soon as i got out of there.loved every bit of my stay at plumcove.the neat and tidy.views are just as shown in the pictures.the icing on the cake is the services of the caretaker,Ajeet and the cook.delicious meals,fresh and home cooked delivered at your doorstep. you will not feel like going out as the place has evedything you will need for a comfortable stay.the owner ensured that our stay there was as perfect as we could imagine.will definitely come back...

Among the most hospitable hosts I have come across. Ankur and Shilpa not only ensured we had a comfortable stay but also surprised us with delicious food all the time. The place is full of old school charm and was amazingly warm even when it was freezing outside. The views from this place were amazing and there are multiple cosy corners in the place to quietly read a book or enjoy a cup of hot coffee with your loved ones. It's definitely one of those places where you would keep coming back and make fond memories everytime.

Located far away from Chandigarh or Shimla 2. It took us 9 hours to reach this place from Chandigarh 3. Have to depend on their kitchen for food as there's nothing closeby 4. There's no dedicated drawing room in the property. They have decorated the corridor or the lobby area as the drawing room.

A most delightful and tranquil retreat. Much more than a home away from home! Right from the word go, our gracious hosts, Neelamji and her son, Dheeresh, were like family to us. From the care with which they directed us to their place, sending their team over to help us cross the last mile to the cottage, and the wonderful welcome, it was a dream! The cottage is so beautiful, cozy and well-maintained, and we were careful to keep it the way they have so lovingly nurtured it, especially the carefully polished wooden flooring and woodwork. The attention to detail was very evident, with small touches that make the huge difference between staying in a hotel and in a homestay. The delicious food was served in the sit-out overlooking the hills. Neelamji and Dheeresh personally helped in ensuring that the food was homely and of good quality. We enjoyed fresh fruit - apricots, pears, strawberries and melon from their own garden. The view - overlooking the hills - is amazing, and the proximity to the Beas is unbelievable. We just had to cross the backyard and in a minute, we were on the banks of the Beas in full flow. No wasting time in a vehicle traveling to see the river. We had it all at our doorstep. We had a whale of a time, and it felt like we had spent some real quality time with an aunt and cousin. So now our family is extended to include Neelamji and Dheeresh! God bless them for what they do, and we are most definitely going to visit again!

This is a very different place with a beautiful view and everything is just perfect. The food is delicious and the hosts are amazing and soo helping. It definitely feels like home when you stay here. The bonfire is a must experience thing u should do. Aunty special cuisines are just amazing which is taste u cant get anywhere in the mountains surely. Thanks for being such an amazing host and the perfect stay you provide.
