Such a great place to stay and close to the sights to see on the west side of the island. So much kitchen space and the amenities were excellent.

Uninterrupted sea views on NC500

Chandan KumarRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Can’t describe how beautiful the location is . The house is so beautiful and the view is breathtaking . We were welcomed by golden rays of sun and a rainbow . Sarah is the loveliest and warmest person I have ever met . She personally helped us know everything about the house. The kitchen is very well equipped. Kids room was so much fun with colourful lights , they had so much fun. Due to lack of time we couldn’t enjoy the hot tub and many more things like walking down the shore or the area. We just laid down and soaked in as much as we could. Overall this stay was amazing and definitely made our NC500 memorable.

2-Bedroom Cottage on Island of Eday

RobertRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great place Lets face it, Eday is not an island you visit on a whim or by accident. Total population is about 120 people, the community shop opens just a couple of hours, most days; plus it's a 90 minute ferry from the Orkney mainland, itself a ferry or flight from Scotland. But, when you get there this place makes it all worth while. The location and views are unmatched, it's well furnished, the heating is properly effective, the kitchen is very well equipped (lots of crockery, good quality saucepans and cooker, the knives are actually sharp (an AirB&B first for us); plus having 2 fridges is genius. The broadband is amazing too (we measured 400Mb) If you want nightlife (unless you count the short eared owls you can see through the window) forget it. If you want a completely peaceful stay on a beautiful island; go for it.
A quaint stone cottage is positioned amidst a green lawn. A wooden bench is situated in front of a window, framed by climbing plants. A flight of steps leads to a white door, with a slate roof visible above.

Khyber Cottage

KateRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Had a great stay in Clare’s wee cottage, I genuinely can’t think of how it can be improved. Is seems very freshly decorated and all the things that we needed were there including some well thought through extras e.g. extension sockets. Very comfy bed, lovely lounge area, well equipped kitchen (not that we used it much). We had accommodation envy from friends staying elsewhere! We’d definitely return if we ever get the chance, thanks very much.

Modern house | Great location in Kirkwall

LizRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Everything about this house was perfect. It suited us (2 adults, 1 teen) and all our needs were met with ease. Spacious, comfortable, very clean, great parking, excellent amenities and we felt right ‘at home’. The location in Kirkwall was great and - it has to be said - at night it was silent...absolutely silent and we all slept so well here. We made use of the washing machine and had the clothes airer set up in living room which dried quite quickly with the wall heater going. The kitchen has everything you’d need to self-cater. Access (check in) was easy, as was check-out. The styling of this property wasn’t over the top either - we loved it. Nothing but high praise for Louise’s place on Old Scapa Road and we would happily stay here again. Orkney is incredible!

The Lookout, Northlight Apartments

DerekRating, 5 stars11 months ago
The Lookout had everything we needed and more. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and full extra little touches: Karen really has thought of everything. The location is ideal for exploring Kirkwall and beyond, and the building itself has a fascinating history. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying at Northlight Apartments.

The Ruah - Clifftop Retreat

Staying at the Ruah is a very special experience. The croft is full of character and I had everything I needed there. If you want a private location and to be close to nature, I don’t think you could beat staying here.
