Our villa, is situated at Gurnard Marsh, 2 mins from the sea. It is a quiet location, has an enclosed garden, sea views and is in a great position to enjoy the amazing sunsets Gurnard is famous for. It is very close to Gurnard Luck where "crabbing" can be enjoyed. The living area is at the back and has lovely triple sliding doors onto the decking with views of the countryside. Outside dining and sofa's on the patios Onsite parking and more available on the road for free. There is cable wifi.

Sleeps four comfortably. The main bedroom has a double bed and the little room of the two has two single beds. There is a washing machine so no need to do all that washing once home!! We had a comfortable stay in this beautiful house for two weeks. We loved how close it is to the beach and the sea view from the bedrooms. Very easy to walk around and there is a variety of shops within walking distance. The sofas and beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Our cat also enjoyed the place and her little walks in the garden. It was generally very quiet, other than the neighbour's dogs clockwork barking sessions at 11pm & 7am. Our only comment was that the house was freezing when we arrived and it took many hours to heat up, causing one of us a nasty headache the next day. It would be nice if the heating was turned on a bit earlier. Once it was warm, it did maintain the heat quite well. Other than that everything was great and would visit again, especially when the weather gets better!

We had a lovely stay at Salty’s Seashell apartment. The description listing and photos were very accurate and the communication was clear. The location was fantastic - a 2 minute walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the town centre. Parking was also always available. The recommendations and board games in the entry way were a nice bonus. We really enjoyed our week in the Isle of Wight and the location was great for exploring Ventnor, coastal walks and venturing further afield (Shanklin, Godshill, Blackgang Chine, the Needles).

If I could give them 10 stars I would! Everything was absolutely amazing about this stay. The pictures do not do it justice at all, because there is no way to fit heaven into a picture! Rowena was very helpful with anything we needed and made us feel so welcome. Once you park the car you'll never have to get back into it because of all there is to do within walking distance. We did not want to leave and will absolutely be back and for a much longer stay!

This was our first visit to the Isle of Wight and Katie's lovely apartment was the perfect base for exploring the island. It is comfortable, homely and clean with a small private garden, off road parking and is only a short walk to the beach and local amenities. We visited as a couple but it would also be ideal for a young family. We would happily stay here again. Thanks Katie!

We had a great weekend stay at Roman's Retreat. The flat is in a private road with a partial sea view. It is well located on the south coast of Hayling Island. We had great weather so were able to walk along the sea front with ease. On our first night we ate out in one of the local pubs, there were two very close by with other dining options. In the morning we nipped out to the convenience store (around the corner) and grabbed a coffee from one of the many coffee shops. The place has two spacious bedrooms and a large living room with two sofas. Everything you need for a couple or family of four. The bathroom and kitchen appear to be newly refurbished and therefore spotlessly clean. It's a first floor flat which benefits from a small balcony which I sat out on taking in the late September afternoon sun. We parked right outside in the private road which felt safe and secure. It's a great place for a visit to Hayling Island. Louise was a great host, very responsive. Thanks!
