Probably the best views of Shaldon from the double aspect windows of the living room. Watch the boats come in and out of the harbour, the constantly changing panarama of sand, sea and sky. A short level walk to the local shops, cafes and pubs. Shaldon Beach 10 m and Ness Beach less than 15 minutes.

The Annex at Waterfield House is a beautiful, light, spacious get away. The bedroom has bifold doors opening to a balcony with views over the Rive Teign estuary down to Shaldon and Teignmouth. The en-suite has a shower and separate bath and there is even a dressing room. Downstairs the entrance opens into the atrium, again with bifold doors opening onto the decking and garden, a lovely spot to enjoy the pastries for breakfast. Loungers are supplied for those lazy moments. Ample parking.

The annex is a self-contained apartment below our house, comprising a comfortable open-plan living area, with bifold doors opening on to a patio and garden area, with a view of the Teign estuary. A kitchenette area contains a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and sink unit, all of which can be shut off when not in use. The dining space has a foldaway table and the bedroom a super-king bed, with a separate dressing area and clothes rail, and a modern ensuite bathroom with shower.
