Super fun place to stay! Loved the 80s vibe downstairs! Lots of games and activities. Especially enjoyed the outdoor fireplace area with lanterns and lights.

Proctor's Haven - Private Pond & Bluff View

JenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A trip I’ll remember forever! We went to Sewanee for my brothers graduation from the University of the South. The house was beautiful. Wood interior, lush woods surrounding the property. We fished on the pond and there is even a kayak and a Targer grill where we cooked most dinners! The kitchen is STOCKED - better than any other rental I’ve used. The owners also paid attention to details and have body wash, shampoo, conditioner, make up removing washcloths, toothbrush, laundry detergent, and more! The property owners are incredibly responsive and as sweet as can be! I have ZERO negative things to say. The price was a bit steep in my experience with AirBnB but we were so happy with the trip anyways! The University was an easy drive and we weren’t ready to come home!

Hoge Farmhouse: A historic gem

PatRating, 5 stars1 week ago
There’s a lot to love about this house. Great kitchen, covered porch with a fabulous fireplace in the great room. Well stocked and well maintained for their guests. We enjoyed the grill, large ice maker and overall character of the Hoge House, circa 1871. We will definitely be back. Thanks for the hospitality!

The Sewanee Cottage - Great location on campus

SpencerRating, 5 stars3 months ago
The Sewanee “Cottage” — really a spacious, rambling house — is a perfect place to stay while visiting the college. Everything is walkable from the house, because it’s squarely on campus, though it feels quiet and private once you’re inside. (If you walk a block or two on a weekend night, you might hear the college kids partying, but all you hear from the house is birdsong.) The kitchen is well-appointed, the bedrooms are comfy, and the living room and other common areas are full of funky charm. Check-in and check-out were easy. Would definitely stay here again!

Come Explore The Bicycle House!

ElizabethRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a short stay to help my Sewanee student move out. Wish we could have stayed longer to do more in the area. The house was a perfect location to Sewanee and easy to get to a variety of activities in the area. The house had everything we needed for our stay and more…

Twisted Hickory Point- 3BR/2BA Lakehouse- sleeps 6

SusanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is my second stay at Kimber and Lee’s beautiful home in Cooley’s Rift. It is an exceptional place to stay. First, and I say this without exaggeration, Kimber has thought of everything that one might need duringthe stay. As she rightly points out, the house is equipped to live in, not just to stay at. Everything is comfortable and inviting. She has a wonderful coffee and drink bar that is incredibly well appointed. she has a lot of cozy blankets to curl up on the couch and the reading game room is an extra special touch! Kimber‘s communication is absolutelyover-the-top. She is so friendly and warm and very straightforward with her instructions. She also has a terrific book of things to do in the area. The lake outside is so peaceful and we were able to fish a bit while we were there. All in all everything is just amazing there and I will stay there each and every time I go to the mountain.
