Dongchonjae is located in Seochon Village, very close to Gwanghwamun Square, the center of Gyeongbokgung Palace and Seoul. It consists of Anchae, Sarangchae, and Annex Room. Built in 1939, Dongchonjae It's not a fancy hanok. Seoul City and the government (Korea Tourism Organization) have recognized it as a traditional hanok. Dongchonjae has opened its home by a retired couple and has been operating since October 2020. Guests use 4 rooms, living room (Daecheongmaru), kitchen, 2 bathrooms (inside: shower available, outside: small but showerable), Numaru, and yard. The host lives in Sarangchae and provides breakfast and other services. (※ The love house is a space that is different from the main house where guests stay in, and it is a completely separate space) Feel the tranquil beauty and scent of traditional hanok in Dongchonjae. Origin is a traditional hanok house located on the stone wall of Changdeokgung Palace, a UNESCO cultural heritage. Located in the 2nd view of Bukchon, this hanok yard is filled with old trees from Changdeokgung Palace. It is located in a quiet place where you can hear the chirping of birds. There is no inconvenience at all to stay. Bukchon Hanok Village, Insa-dong, Ikseon-dong, and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art are all within a 10-minute walk.

mini hanok classic (near palaces, entire house)

Mini Hanok located 5 minutes from Anguk Station Line 3 is the starting point of Bukchon Hanok Village. The mini hanok is located in a very quiet place, but if you walk for more than a minute you will find many cafes and interesting shops. It takes 5 minutes on foot to Changdeok Palace and 10 minutes on foot to Gyeongbok Palace. Nearby are Jongmyo and Unhyeongung Palace. You can also go to Myeong-dong and Namdaemun at once if you take the 151 and 162 blue buses.
