Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Seongdong-gu

My solo trip was wonderful thanks to this perfect accommodation! Its proximity to Seoul Forest was a blessing, offering a peaceful retreat from the city's bustle while still being conveniently close to two subway stations (10-15 minutes away). The apartment's lovely decor and easy-to-find location, just a short walk up a few stairs, added to its convenience. While there was some daytime noise from a neighbor moving during my stay, the nights were peaceful and healing. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, even providing local recommendations. Thank you again for a truly wonderful stay.

This is my second visit to Jinjin's accommodation, and I was also very satisfied. Last time, there were 3 beds, but this time, it increased to 4, so it was much more comfortable for families to stay. The location is really the best. Seoul Forest and Seongsu Training Center Road were just a short walk away, so it was perfect for a walk and a cafe. Jinjin was still kind and responded quickly, so I was able to stay with peace of mind. I'll come again next time:)

Host was helpful with prompt responses, and gave clear instructions for the checkin. Love the portable TV as well! Wanted to use the lovely attic for reading but it was a little hot up there, would have been perfect if there is airconditioning in the attic too! Note that the bathroom is not directly connected to the room, but that seems to be how the old style houses generally are. It was a unique experience though, love that the hot tub was spacious and even had a skylight! Room was comfortable and cozy :)

The interiors were absolutely adorable, not only did the host have such nice aesthetics but was also so friendly and responsive~ the washing machine wasn't working so in return, they provided extra pillows and blankets at no extra charge and gave us extra amenities. The hospitality was top tier and the location as well was quite convenient - a convenience store right downstairs, lots of restaurants in the area, within walking distance to the station, and easy access to a lot of central locations. If I had known I could get all this for such a cheap price, I would've extended my stay much longer - definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Seoul~

Lovely, spacious apartment located a short 5min walk from the edge of Seongsu's shopping area. Very responsive and sweet host who helped with storing our luggage and making domestic calls. Overall highly recommend this place, those with lots of luggage beware as this apartment is on the top floor with no elevator!

The property is a short walk from the subway which makes it easy to get to the area you want to go to.Very quiet place, surrounded by Wenqing coffee shop and small specialty shop

Had a great stay! Many restaurants were within easy reach. There are many shops and you could easily walk to the park in Seoul forest. I would definitely choose this place again!

Loved this place. The residence is everything you need but what I loved primarily was the neighbourhood. Didn’t really knew Seoul and sort of randomly ended up in Seongsu-dong but ended up being my favourite neighbourhood. A little bit of absolutely everything you’d want. Five stars.

Perfect location, just steps away from the metro, super convenient to get around. The host was always responsive and very friendly. I stayed for 3 months and had a great experience. Highly recommend!

A really great place to stay if you’re visiting Seoul. Plenty of food and cafe options right nearby and great access to subway for getting around the city. Great view and has everything you need.

The place was really great! Very easy to access, with ultra-fast elevators and impeccable cleanliness upon arrival. It is located close to Myeongdong, which is ideal because everything is easily accessible from there: trains, buses, everything is within easy reach. There's even a GS25 directly in the building, super convenient for everyday use. And as a bonus, an accessible rooftop at the top of the building, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. I recommend it without hesitating! ☺️❤️

The accommodation was great value for the money and in a great location, and there was nothing missing! The host was kind and quick to respond, so he quickly resolved any inquiries. I stayed on the first floor, so there was no problem even though there was no elevator! However, I used the washing machine, and the bright clothes had black stains. Later, I found that there was mold in the place where the washing machine detergent was put, so I was a little disappointed with the cleanliness. Everything else was clean!

Very well located place with city views, friendly host who is quick to respond, the room/studio is small, but is enough for 2 people not staying in the room all the time, has all the necessities and is clean - perfect price/value ratio.

My wife and I stayed here for 1 week, and it was well worth what we paid. It was very easy to get around with the metro close by, do note that it’s a steep walk to the apartment if you have mobility issues. It was not a problem for us. The air conditioner worked amazing, as did the hot water. The bed was comfortable & the lack of bedsheets was not a problem and she had this comfy pad on the bad that did not move. The one night some neighbors were loud after quiet hours, we let Kelly know and she handled it very promptly for us, which we appreciated! There’s also a great Indian restaurant nearby, and lots of 7 elevens and other convenience stores. The quality for the price is amazing for Seoul, and we definitely recommend for your next stay if you want a central and affordable place!

Fun stay in an interesting neighbourhood! The place was extremely clean and very comfortable. The host was very friendly and answered all questions quickly. Things were generally as-expected and the experience was seamless and enjoyable. The floating bed was a unique touch and we enjoyed it, but those who are especially tall or have limited mobility might find it a challenge to get in and out of.

Lovely apartment in the heart of Nowon near the station! It was so clean and had everything we needed. It was really nice and felt like home!

Cozy and quiet room in one of the liveliest city districts. That was so nice to have a plenty of places to shop, have a nice meal or even party in within walking distance) only 5-7 min walk to the street full of fancy clothing stores and cafes) moreover, I was truly impressed by the cleanliness of the room absolutely not typical for airbnb🙏🏻 The host was polite and understanding and let me leave my luggage before check-in and even after check-out) I’d for sure recommend this option for ones who appreciate city spirit and quality rest at the same time) p.s. don't be afraid of the shower) it turned to be convenient and easy to use) Once again, thank you for hosting me, that was a perfect stay🙂‍↕️🩶

Great space. Just enough for one person. I think two people would feel cramped. The space is smaller than in the pictures. I like how she decorated the place. It added more warmth to the room. I enjoyed chilling with the warm lighting and under the covers at night. It felt cosy and like home. Host is kind and allowed an early check in, with specific instructions on how to get to her place. She also recommended me places to visit nearby and responded quickly whenever I asked her questions. I’m a solo female traveler so I felt safe because there’s two passcodes to enter the building, unlock the door and a small lift. Cons: There is a steep slope you have to climb before reaching the Airbnb. So pushing luggage up & down is a hassle. The toilet is also really small. It takes about an hour if you want to go to myeongdong/gangnam/dongdaemun. But the airbnb is closer to the airport and highly accessible via bus/train. Overall, great deal for the price! You get what you pay for!

It was a very pleasant stay, very close to Hongdae, I think Hongdae is the best place to visit, and the homestay is very close to the subway station bus station, so it is very convenient to stay here.The homestay is very cozy and feels very homey. The room is not the same as a normal homestay. There are kitchen utensils, washing machine, dryer, laundry detergent, and even curling hair sticks. It is super friendly to girls, and the surrounding environment is very quiet. At night, you don't have to worry about being noisy.The host is also huge and responsive.It's very hard to walk around, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I come.

I stayed with a friend for more than a week and we felt good at the accommodation.. William was friendly and communicative. The location is very good, in an area where the locals live ..and from the central area we took the bus about aprox 30 minutes. I highly recommend this accommodation 🤗

Everything about this trip was fantastic, including this home. The view was stunning and the train station was right out front which made getting around super easy. My friends and I could not have been happier with how helpful and friendly our hosts were as well anytime we needed to reach out. We loved it here! Thank you for lending your home to us!
