Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Sentrum

We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

Communication with the host is very smooth and quick. The scenery around the accommodation is nice, and the amenities are very well equipped. It's near the end of the bus line, so transportation is good and the mart is close, so I highly recommend it.

Beautiful place with amazing view of Oslo fjord. I decided to choose this place to enjoy the view and Scandinavian atmosphere of the property with friends. And was quite satisfied. The place is very interesting and cozy, and you can look out the window for hours. The owner of Gard is responsive, with a good sense of humor and went to meet us when we needed it. We had a wonderful stay at Victoria’s house in Nittedal! Communication with Victoria was excellent both before and during our vacation. She was very helpful and gave us great tips. The house was perfect for us (2 adults, 2 kids aged 4 and 9). It was super clean, tidy, and beautifully furnished. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen was excellently equipped, the living room very cozy, and the bathroom offered both a shower and a lovely bathtub. The location was ideal: about 30 minutes by rental car to both the airport and the center of Oslo. A sledding hill and the Vallingkollen ski area, where you can rent ski equipment, were only 15 minutes away – we had a great time experiencing the Norwegian winter there. Our kids loved it! We also visited the Technology Museum, the Paradox Museum, and the Natural History Museum with the kids – all three are highly recommended. It was such a relaxing and beautiful vacation. We had a really nice stay at Kaja's place in the Holmenkollen area. The house is large and has a very beautiful kitchen and great upper floor with lots of amenities for kids. The bathroom is fantastic and bedding is great. There is lots to do in the area especially if you are into nature. Also the railway to the city centre is relatively close and there is also a direct bus to the city center super close by. We would come back for sure!

We had a great time staying at Torgeir's lovely home. I really enjoyed sitting out on the cedar deck and the house was comfortable and warm with all the necessities needed for just a couple of days. Torgeir was also a very nice and warm person, which added a lot to our stay. Thank you Torgeir!

Stay was very nice. A train stop with direct connection to Oslo was easily accessible on foot. Accommodation was very cozy and the host very friendly.

Lovely and spotless flat. The bed is very comfortable. Only used for rent out, so no personal things. The kitchen has what you need. Fits two people perfectly—lovely typical garden with grill, and a nice small balcony in the bedroom. Caroline is friendly and easy to communicate with, and answers quickly—value for money in a nice area in Oslo. Recommend the place.

Endre's place is great. The view from the appartment is beautiful and if I ever come to Oslo again I would like to rent this place again. Transport to the place is regularly available, trams 12 and 15 are 8 mins away from the place. Endre was really helpful, he gave clear instructions, allowed early check in, even helped me with the laundry. Had a nice experience!

We had such a great stay here. Firstly, the location is excellent for a stay in Oslo. The train station is a couple of minutes walk and two stops to the city centre. It’s a ten minute walk to Frogner Park. Great places to eat and a couple of supermarkets within 5 minutes walk. While very central, the apartment is whisper quiet. Inside, the beds are super comfy and while two are on the small side (as per previous reviews), it’s fine for a few nights. The bathroom is modern and lovely. The kitchen is fully equipped - everything you need for the times you don’t want to eat out. And communication with Ingrid was always prompt and friendly. All in all, a wonderful base from which to explore Oslo.

We absolutely loved our five days in Maj-Britt’s beautiful cottage by the sea! The view over the Oslo Sound is spectacular and the cabin is tastefully furnished, has a fully equipped kitchen and a new bathroom. One can tell that it is a private home as nothing is missing and everything has been chosen with love and care. The decks are wonderful and the garden is lovingly tended for. It is only a ten-minute walk down to a little harbour and beautiful bathing spot used by the locals. We also loved the easy transfer by bus and ferry to Oslo so that you can leave your car by the house. It takes less than one hour and the ferry ride is an experience in itself. Oslo is a very affluent attractive city and very safe so that our two daughters enjoyed some individual sightseeing on their own. Apart from the great museums the city‘s new library is also a must-see right next to the opera. Thank you, Maj-Britt, for your charming, comfortable and super-clean house! We‘ll definitely be back!!!

We had a great stay in this beautiful house on a wonderful island. It was a bit challenging with 3 kids in the rain, but it was well worth it. The house and grounds are absolutely amazing and it's a great adventure getting there and exploring the island. Thanks to Christian for his help.

Otto has a great house, authentic Norwegian, in a top location. Fantastic view, wonderfully quiet. If you have difficulty walking, this place is not advisable, you walk up a rock path from the pier. However, we didn't mind. From Nesodden, you can take the ferry in Oslo in no time. Family with 4 adolescents.

The cabin was super cosy, clean and comfortable. Thanks to the forest surrounding it, you don’t feel like you are in such a close proximity to Oslo at all! The hot tub outside was a highlight of the trip and it was also super easy to use. Highly recommend!

We were a large family group gathering for our first time in Oslo. The island location is gorgeous and the house is both beautiful and well suited to a family group. Catherine was proactive in getting our groceries delivered so we were comfortable despite no stores on the island. We also had free use of their boat which allowed us to arrange our schedule as we liked. Pacing with our large family group meant accounting for two shuttle trips to get all of us across to the mainland. The 31 bus line was close and frequent for getting us into Oslo. We bought a week pass but no one ever seemed to check the bus ticket. The house itself was well equipped with everything kitchen, fireplace and gorgeous outdoor space. It was a little cool and rainy for the pool but the hanging outdoor bed was a favorite spot to hang out.

The cabin was exactly as we hoped. It was so beautiful, with a lovely view of the water and the forest. We ended up just staying around the cabin because it was so idyllic, instead of going for walks in the woods. We hope to return.
