However, at my place you will have more space, a full kitchen, a lovely balcony overlooking the canal and Oslo, free wireless high speed internet, and a MUCH bigger refrigerator if you what to chill that white wine..:-) Tjuvholmen, meaning "thief's island", is the ultimate trendy and exclusive new area in Oslo, with pulsating city space, alleys, walking bridges over the canals, and with extensive seafront promenades. Meters away from the apartment you will find several of Oslo's best restaurants, bars, cafes, cinemas and of course, Oslo's best shopping. Public transportation is close by, either you prefer bus, tram or the small ferries. 150 meters away, you will find the world famous Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art, AFMoMA. The apartment has a lovely balcony hanging directly over the canal six stories down. Everything is of high standard, from the Italian tiles in the bathroom to the walnut floor in the rest of the apartment. There is a wonderful Jensen King size bed (180 cm) in the bedroom.

This apartment was exactly what we needed for our weekend in Oslo. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. It is in a great location with the conference room across the street and the little store just a short walk nearby. The colors and design of the apartment make it so cozy! Mari & Olov made us feel very welcome and answered any questions we had.

Location location location... I wanted to stay in Sandvika, because my mother lived there for 20 years, so I am very familiar with the area and it feels like home. The property is in a quiet neighborhood and feels very private, yet is centrally located, and easy to walk around the area for hiking, shopping, bus/train transfers, and easy to use trains and bus to connect to anywhere quickly. We had everything we needed, and were comfy and cozy and made ourselves at home. Very comfy beds. As described, the sleeping loft has a low ceiling. My daughter is not very tall and is young and limber, and was quite happy up there, but you probably don't want someone too tall up there. Host is very responsive and clearly communicates. They live in the house next to the rental, but we never saw them in over a week, so the rental is very private. Beautiful view of the bay and lovely sunsets from the deck.

I was there for 5 weeks. The view is very nice and you have your privacy. On foot you can get to a large shopping center quite quickly, there is everything your heart desires. In general, you can get by very well on foot. I didn't test the public transport. The host is very friendly and easy to talk to. He had offered to take me on a hike, which I also enjoyed. He gave plenty of tips on what to do in the area but also tips for longer trips. All in all, a very great 5 weeks.

We had a wonderful stay at Gunhild’s apartment! It was the perfect size for the two of us - one in the cosy bedroom and the other on the very comfy sofa bed. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, and the bathroom was modern and squeaky clean. TV was beautiful too. Ahead of our stay we received a link to a website with access instructions, info about our stay (how to use the lights, WiFi, sofa bed etc) plus local recommendations, which was super helpful. Key pickup and drop off was really easy too. Overall would absolutely recommend a stay here, it was perfect!

We had a great stay at Inger Sofie’s apartment! It was very clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—quiet, peaceful, and just a 3-minute walk from both the metro station and a supermarket. The host was very friendly and helpful, and we felt truly welcomed. We had a great time in this apartment. It is located on the heights of Oslo, close to a pleasant natural environment, but perfectly connected by public transport that allows access to the center in about a quarter of an hour. The apartment is comfortable for two guests, the third bed is in a windowless room accessible through the bedroom and should be reserved for a child or occasional use. The apartment is well equipped and has plenty of convenient storage. The building has a shared rooftop terrace with lovely panoramic views of Oslo and the fjord. The hosts are friendly and helped us out very quickly and efficiently when we encountered a problem to operate an equipment that we were not used to. Thanks to them
