We spent 3 nights staying at the Mowhay. It was the perfect mix of peaceful hideaway whilst being well connected to major roads and local amenities. The accommodation was well laid out with a very well equipped kitchen. Claire was great at communicating from booking to check out and we met Geoff a couple of times during our stay who was super friendly. Would thoroughly recommend!

We loved our stay in this cottage! It has such a cosy homely feel and is equipped with everything you’d need! The bed was super comfy and it was nice to have a tv in both bedrooms and the living space! The hot tub area was gorgeous and a great place to unwind and relax, very private area! Shaun the host was super friendly and very responsive! We couldn’t fault this place - amazing value for money. Would recommend and would love to return in the future!

We had the most wonderful time.The location of the property is great for exploring and the setting so peaceful! The pictures perhaps did not do it full justice as it was even better!being in a bath over looking the countryside was next level! Clare was very clear on the whole process of how to get to the property,check in,ideas for places to visit and things to do.The personalised written message and goodies are special touches that mean a lot so thank you!cannot praise everything about our stay enough!we hope to be back!X

Our stay in Fowey was nothing short of magical, and this Airbnb made it even more special. The location is fantastic -yes, it’s partway up a hill, but the stroll into town is short, scenic, and lined with the most charming restaurants and harborfont bars. Fowey itself is absolutely adorable. The converted schoolhouse is truly one-of-a-kind. The hosts did an amazing job preserving the original charm while creating a modern, inviting space that’s perfect for entertaining. And the hot tub overlooking the harbor? Unreal. I probably spent half the trip soaking in it. There were even thoughtful touches like umbrellas to borrow, which came in handy in classic English weather. We did experience a minor issue with noise from neighbors in an adjoining unit, but the host was incredibly responsive and professional. They made it clear they cared and took swift action to make sure we were comfortable.

This was our third stay at Nancy's House. Here are some of the things that drew us back: snug but spacious house that feels loved and lived in, peacefully tucked into a farm where interesting things always seem to be happening, and just a few steps from exhilarating open spaces; lovely hosts. Oh, and the hot-tub is very nice!

A really homely cottage. Perfect for a few days getaway. Unfortunately it rained on our break so ended up stuck inside. It would have been nice to have sat outside more! Overall it has what it says on the tin. Don't go here if you are expecting all mod cons and a pristine home. It's just somewhere cosy to get away from it all, with friendly owners and lots of privacy.

What a beautiful spot, the views are fantastic and there is so much outside space! We loved the fishing lake and hot tub area which made it for us! Prefect lovely and good value.

We stayed at Mellinzeath 28 years ago for a week of our honeymoon, and decided to revisit for our anniversary. What a transformation! The property has been restored beautifully and sympathetically, and now feels loved again. Everything - the materials used for the fabric of the building, fixtures, fittings and equipment - is of excellent quality, and there are many little touches which make it extra welcoming. Even Obi, our dog, had his own welcome pack and a warm shower outside. This is a very special property in a tranquil, secluded setting, with nothing but the birds for company. Wish it had been like this for our honeymoon.....

We stayed at Blackbird Studio for five nights and really enjoyed it as our base to explore Cornwall. While the weather wasn’t the best, the house made our stay memorable. The views are really stunning and you have your own little English garden. St Ives and various dog friendly beaches can be reached within a couple of minutes. The house was even more spacious than expected and equipped with everything you need. Lorna made sure we arrived safely and was always on hand. As mentioned in the description, the driveway is very (very!) narrow, but we managed to get through for unpacking/packing and parked in the little carveout by the road on the other days, which was completely fine.

This was our second stay at Sharon's barn and we will definitely come back again. It's in a great location, has all the bits and pieces you need for a week's holiday and is incredibly comfortable. the bed is very comfy and we slept soundly, waking ready for a walk to the beach for a swim.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Mary was such a gracious and wonderfully charming host that I would have loved to spend more time at her cottage. During my stay, Mary showed me the surrounding area, including a beautiful garden and her field, and Mary & her partner Charles also gave me a lift to a pub for dinner. Mary & Charles are both very knowledgable and I enjoyed learning about the history and geology of Cornwall from them!

Jago's Loft is genuinely luxurious: spacious, with elegant decor which aptly fits its maritime setting. Beds and sofas are just so comfortable, and the kitchen is equipped with everything you'd never thought of to help you live easily and conveniently. There is a small sunny patio outside the French doors for outdoor living. Alison was readily helpful while rigorously leaving us our privacy. The cottage looks on to a small shared space with lovely garden borders and a long view through to the harbour and the lines of picturesque cottages across the estuary in Falmouth. The 2 mins walk to the out-of-this-world village shop just 2 mins walk away gave us opportunity to commune with the family of 6 small cygnets who frequent the harbour with their parents. We are not drivers, but trains go all the way into Falmouth and the local bus service is excellent for a rural community.

We had a fantastic three days at the Captains cottage. We found the place as described and Amy is an attentive and responsive host. The cottage has been refurbished and furnished beautifully. Everything was in good working order and considering that the house is 300 years old, there is good space and the layout works really well. The cottage lies within walking distance of the South West path and some breathtakingly beautiful beaches are all within half an hours drive. Shops and pubs near by. We loved the welcome touches such as the makings of a cream tea with clotted cream and a pint of milk! Fantastic gem in the most beautiful part of Cornwall. Thank you Amy 😃

Even Keel is charming beyond words. We didn't know much about Mousehole or the Mousehole Cat before our stay, and it is now one of our favorite places. The home has all you need for a self-catering stay of several days: fully equipped kitchen, nice beds and bathrooms, and a washer/dryer. The only tricky thing (as an American driver) was parking. I would advise any beginners to park in the big Parade lot on the outskirts of town. The North Quay lot is a shorter walk but a little tricky to navigate into and often full. The South Quay lot - just around the corner from Even Keel - was nerve wracking to drive into and then was completely full. (As for "street" parking, I would strongly advise against even considering to try this; just pay to use one of the lots and enjoy your holiday!)

We had a wonderful stay at Mousehole, what a fantastic village. Ben’s place was a perfect location with stunning views at low or high tide. We loved the decor in the house which was so fitting for the location. A special,unique part of Cornwall and certainly a highlight for us. Julia’s Place was such a wonderful place to stay. David met us and showed us the ropes. We loved the peaceful location, the stunning walks and the accessibility to other parts of the coast. I particularly loved the cows in the paddock next door, the garden area and the separate reading room - great for a moment alone. Thank you for having us to stay Julia and David. We had a fabulous time.

Would highly recommend. Perched up from the main town there were several different routes down to the shore. Lovely retreat. I used it to chill for a couple of days before cycling LEJOG. I had a couple of questions for Julie who was always friendly and responsive. Would love to go back.

Great hosts, and a great place to stay. The place was in a lovely location with lots of fascinating local historical spots and ancient ruins nearby (many within walking distance). John and Jane also give great advice on good places to walk and visit, and this was very useful. We would happily go back and recommend to others.

We had a lovely 4 night stay in the cottage . It is well positioned and slightly away from the main bustle and noise in Mousehole . Although you can not park directly in front of the cottage you can bag drop . The cottage was spotless and very well equipped. The rooms are spread on 3 floors so be mindfull of steep stairs but that is explained . A very good place to stay and would highly recommend this place .

We enjoyed our time at Laura’s home. It is a beautiful, comfortable and well designed place with amazing views over the cove. The beach and a couple of pubs are only a few minutes walk away and it was a great location for exploring the surrounding area.

We were attending a wedding at Lands End but wanted somewhere away from the ‘busyness’ to stay. The cottage was so quaint, very close to where we needed to be, and just perfect for our whirlwind visit. Sam was so very helpful, making the check in/out procedure very easy. Even though we arrived very late at night, in the pouring rain, his instructions helped us find the cottage and get in very quick! We’d definitely book it again Thank you Sam Alison

Our second stay at the Loft, and just as great as the first. Lovely cottage, very well equipped, super comfy bed and very nicely decorated. Great communication with Neil throughout, we'd highly recommend a stay here. Mousehole as lovely as ever, thanks for a great stay!
