Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Selwyn District

Our 2nd visit. Love the peaceful surroundings and games room. Everything you could need is there.

The house was clean and tidy with everything we needed for a weekend stay. Our kids loved all the toys and the house was cosy and comfortable. It was easy to check in and everything was where the listing said it was supposed to be (linen, towels, etc). Location was good for kids as we were right across the road from the playground. Thank you for a lovely place to spend our Easter weekend!

The house was everything described and more. Super clean and warm. Great for kids with the man cave and spa pool. Tea/coffee/milk and the fully loaded drinks fridges topped everything off. Fantastic place

Fantastic, cozy spot to stay. It was private & quiet with plenty of parking. Hosts were friendly & accommodating. It was wonderful to arrive on a gloomy day to the fire going.

We stayed 2 nights and the weather was awful. However, the open fires were great and the marshmallows to today on fire were yummy. the The house is old and floor creaks and has quirks but it is all part of the character of an old home. The heat pump and fires warmed the home especially the fire in bedroom. The extra personal touches like eggs and bath salts are nice. We had our dog and she was catered for also. A spacious, clean and modern house, short uber ride from the airport (~$23) or you can bus or even walk if you don’t have a car. Lovely big back garden we didn’t get a chance to enjoy as we arrived late. Great water pressure in the shower! Perfect for what we needed.

A beautiful place, we loved our stay there. Ali was lovely and we had the most amazing supplies in the fridge (and one of Ali’s home baked cakes!) on our arrival. We felt at home straight away. Would definitely like to stay there next time I’m over visiting my son. Loved it. Thank you Ali.

Great place, perfect for a grouo

The apartment felt like a true home away from home — warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. Every detail, from the cozy decor to the little amenities, showed how much care the host put into making guests feel comfortable. The host was incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to help with anything we needed and offering wonderful local tips. It was one of the most heartwarming stays I’ve ever had. Highly recommended!
