Lovely house that is situated deep into the estate, nice wild life everywhere. The pool is lovely at the house and will be a great asset on warm days, Loskopdam Forever resort is 8 mins away from the estate. All in all a good stay.

Very nice cosy accommodation next to a trout pond for fly fishing. We don’t do that ourselves but we enjoyed watching the fishermen. Very easy to walk to town, shops and restaurants. We loved Dullstroom but it was very cold in the evenings. There is a fire place in the house and an electric heater. The staff is very friendly, we can recommend this accommodation.

As a serious traveler, I can easily say that this was one of my best stays ever, both accommodation and setting. TAKE NOTE: Strictly 4x4 or high clearance bakkie. Zero cellphone coverage or wifi, for those who need to be connected.

This farm house was everything we wanted! A gorgeous little drive/walk around to the dam just passed the berry fields was amazing. The house is clean and neat and comfortable. No farm animals were near the house and you couldn’t walk straight down out of the garden gate, you have to go back around from the road, but it was wonderful and Wilmari was always helpful. Thank you so much for the wonderful break away in the country!

Lovely house with the best view. No complaints or regrets. Well equipped for the winter with heated bathrooms and towel racks. Tons of space and feels cozy. The pictures and description does not do this home justice, give it a try!

The house is as exactly as the pictures, very cozy and feels right at home. The Veranda is lovely in the mornings and is very spacious. We really enjoyed our stay.

Had a wonderful stay at the ambassador lodge. The house is well equipped and felt like luxury home away from home. The view is gorgeous and the nature reserve permits were a major bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away and will be back.

What an amazing place to stay - remote (15 mins from Lydenberg) and on a farm. our kids loved visiting the barn and spent a lot of time with the sheep and goats. The house is fantastic - everything you could want and more. Fireplaces, well stocked kitchen, many rooms - it goes on. One could stay here and not venture out at all. We walked quite a bit in the area.

The estate is beautiful, boasting multiple fishing spots, cycling and hiking trails, making it an excellent choice for a family getaway. The house itself was exactly like the pictures providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Wilmari was a great host and quick to respond to queries

The Walkersons estate is sublime, and Mark’s Cottage is not just well positioned, it is easily the best spot on the whole estate. Modest compared to the other houses it has an old world charm that is hard to find. It is a splendid property.

Chrissie is a great host and we had the best time at her place. Rooms were clean and better than expected, will definitely visit again.

I hit a bit of a snag owing to the gps device which ended us in an off-road rugged and bad terrain. Called my host on the provided details and got help to get back on track. Overall, absolutely amazing experience, everything about the place was awesome. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for some quiet time or an excursion away from the tussle and bustle of the city!

Great stay for 8 people. More than enough space for everyone. The fireplace was a great addition for the cold evenings. Peaceful and serene. The villa was as described in the listing. A wide variety of amenities at the estate, which is great for families.

Th Villa is well located, clean and a real treat for anyone looking for a calm getaway. It is also family friendly. Be sure to check for and request an iron early…the place has an ironing board but no iron.

We had a lovely, peaceful and quite stay. We felt safe as the accommodation is in the Walkersons Estate. We loved the beautiful golden retriever that came to greet us. We will be back.
