Alta museum is a 15 minute walking distance and only 100 meters to the bus stop. The centre is 4 km away. Private laundry room with washing machine. Available 1 parking space.

The Grandfather House

Vacation home at beautiful Hakkstabben. The house is close to the sea, great mountains and wild nature. You can rent a boat from us (Sting HT 600 PRO) from May 1 to the end of August to go fishing or look around and enjoy the sea life. The house is equipped with kitchen equipment, bed linen, towels, detergents, etc. At the hosts who live just across the road from the holiday home, you can buy fresh eggs. But there are no shops or restaurants on Hakkstabben, so you need to bring what you need for food and beverages.

The apartment, built in summer 23, is modern with a fully equipped kitchen, a living room featuring a sofa area and TV, a cozy bathroom with a shower, a hallway, and a bedroom with a custom-built 150 cm bed. All rooms offer views of Hammerfest harbor area, Melkøya, and Håja. It's located on a side street, just a 5-minute walk from the city center. Let us know if you need parking. In the summer, it may be possible to park for free with us. In the winter, we can help you find parking elsewhere.

35 km from Alta Airport (45 minutes drive). 217 km to Nordkapp. Dogs are welcome! This is a luxurious outdoor experience in raw Finnmark nature or sit inside in the living room watching the northerns lights through the large windows. If you come from abroad, the easiest way to get here is to fly to Alta and rent a car. Getting from Alta to Kokelv is about 2 hours. You can access by car to the front of the entrance area. The house contains 2 bedrooms with king size beds, 1 bedroom with 4 bunk beds and a TV room with a double sofa bed.
