Loved the house! Great communication!

We had a great stay overall! The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. We especially enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks—such a fun bonus and easy to access. The location was convenient to find, and while the surrounding neighborhood has a bit of a mix in terms of home conditions, the property itself felt like a little retreat. Being able to utilize a guest account on the Roku TV was great! There were a couple of minor issues: another group of guests was a bit loud at night, and we found a dead scorpion on the floor when we first arrived. We also think the door locks could be improved to help guests feel more secure. Despite that, we really enjoyed our time and appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the home. We’d definitely stay again!

Place was great for a fair group of people plus two large dogs, everyone had space and it’s very close to a lot of things!

Maria was SO quick and kind as I had to book very last minute. We came into town for a graduation and when we got to our original location - it was not habitable. We were frantically looking for a place to stay as we had things to do and places to be. I quickly found this amazing home to fit my large group and she responded FAST. A blessing she was and her home! Very quiet and such a nice neighborhood. We felt very safe with our two young boys and the backyard is a nice for a pup if you’re bringing them along. My parents love to make breakfast and her kitchen was fully stocked for it. Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much!

My daughter, my sweet 9-yr-old grandboxer, Gertie, & I had the best spur of the moment getaway at this lovely lake house. We enjoyed it so much, we added an extra day! Gertie was just diagnosed with a serious heart condition, so physical activity is now limited. She can’t play like she wants/used to or even go for long walks. We have to get creative with ways to stimulate & entertain her, so this affected where we chose to stay. The huge main deck was the perfect, most peaceful & beautiful “giant playpen” for Gertie to enjoy the outdoors & make new friends with all the deer, squirrels & birds. She LOVED it! We did, too, & spent most of our time out there making priceless memories with our sweet girl. Everything is exactly as shown & described. We had easy, ongoing communication with both Marisol & Carmen. It felt like talking to kind, helpful neighbors. Thank you, Marisol, for your parting sweet message about Gertie. We hope to be back to make more memories w her. We LOVED our stay!❤️?

This place was exactly as advised and Cynthia was a wonderful host. We had a wonderful time at the house and at the river and Cynthia brought us some cookies on a last day by the river. What a wonderful home and property to share with visitors. Thank you!

Came here with my partner for my birthday. We had so many plans to go do things for example going to San Antonio. We decided just to stay and relax after getting to the bunkhouse. We enjoyed the privacy, the peaceful surroundings and all of the nature. Loved the set up of the house. It was a very cozy vibe, and it was lovely to be able to take a bath and that huge tub water was definitely hot and enjoyable. Seeing all of the animals was such a plus the sunsets are breathtaking. We even got to experience a little storm and that was awesome being Stuck in the house watching a movie and just enjoying our time. Would definitely recommend staying here especially if you’re wanting to get away from the city life. We would definitely come back. Also the town Boerne was very cool. Had a lot to do for it being a small town we recommend trying the huge cinnamon roll the size of your face at Richter Bakhaus. Relaxing in the pool with that view is something we miss and hope to experience again soon

Place was cozy, very nice view, and very clean. Overall plenty of parking, perfect spot in between San Antonio and Austin. Pool was perfect temperature and clean, hot tub as well. Will be coming back for sure.

We absolutely loved our stay here! You absolutely get your money’s worth for this stay. We booked it for our honeymoon, and it was the perfect way to relax and wind down after the stress of wedding planning. It was comfortable, clean, relaxing, and very enjoyable to stay at! The private fencing and provided streaming services were greatly appreciated. P.S. We highly recommend getting a bite to eat at the Leaning Pear. It was our favorite restaurant in the area.

Place was amazing but it is a smart house. We had trouble with the TV and lights hooking it up on our phones. The TV wanted us to download an app and add a credit card. The outside was amazing, especially the hot tub. Only down fall was the storm knocked the outside lights out so we swam in the dark. Overall, it was amazing!

We enjoyed The Shack very much!! We take a yearly trip to the Whimberly areas and this year everything meet our expectations! Joshua was very attentive and we enjoyed his home.

Great spot on the Comal River. Made it easy to float, and quickly get back to the Airbnb. Communication was good, and the place was clean and the beds were comfortable. Will stay there again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay, plenty of great amenities. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch listening to the rain the first night we were there, and we loved all of the outdoor spaces! Beautiful property!

This place was so cute. It was easy to locate and signs clearly marked which gate to use. I loved the sights and the animals during my night stay. There was a trampoline, swing set, a hammock, picnic table and an outdoor small tub/pool to soak in. I realized after I booked that there was an outdoor shower that I was uncomfortable about, but I rigged the shower curtain and it remained closed as I showered under the night sky. I put my clothes and towel in a plastic bag since I forgot my robe and that allowed me to change and keep my clothes dry. I recommend shoes to slip on to walk back into the camper. I forgot my charger but they had USB ports that I used with my charging cable. The DVD’s that I wanted to watch didn’t work, but it forced me to have more outside time. No regrets. Would 1000% book again. I look forward to solo/couple/small family trips in the future here and it’s pet friendly!

Megs place was exactly as described. Its a beautiful peaceful home. Fenced in back yard is perfect for dogs! This home has tons of space and everything you need! We would definitely recommend and stay again!

I stayed at Justin’s place for work, but the home had plenty of space to bring my son and mom so they could explore Seguin while I worked. Will definitely book again next time ilI’m in town.

The location was quiet and peaceful the house was really nice and with a lot of room, highly recommend! Just the only thing was the ac turn up to 80 middle of the night would bring it back down and it would reset back to 80 within 2 hrs so with the summer heat starting it did get hot and had to get up a few times threw out the night to bring it back down.

Staying at this house was an absolute dream and an amazing place to stay with friends or family. The home itself was spotlessly clean, well decorated, and offered amazing views from every room. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge, whether enjoying the views from the backyard or hanging around in the infinity pool. Overall It was an amazing place to stay, and I’d return in a heartbeat.

Doug’s place was exactly as described! A very peaceful setting and I loved having my coffee out on the top patio area. He was very quick to respond with all of our questions. Would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay here. Plenty of room for our family, had all the amenities we needed and a big yard with fire pit. We also had fun playing on the basketball hoop and axe game - lots of activities for the kids. Erica was an excellent communicator and even offered to let us check in early.

We were looking for a place to recharge and this was a great location. The pool was the main draw for us, and the property is clean and comfortable. When considering your stay, I would suggest bringing a couple beach/pool towels, and washcloths. Maybe paper towels too - about 1/3 roll was provided, but we didn’t need more than that. There was a small bucket of pool items in the cabinet but bring a cheap pool float if you want something specific. We safely parked on the street ~ wasn’t totally sure where to park but recognized the gate from the pictures. All vacation rentals are different, and reviews are always helpful for the guest and the host. Specific concerns should be directly communicated to the host. We had no bath towels and after messaging Brittney she was there within minutes. Host is friendly and responsive, and when we asked for a late checkout, Brittney was happy to accommodate for a reasonable fee. Would definitely stay again when in the area.
