The reception was warm. The apartment, the ground floor of a beautiful house, is fine for four people. Everything is sparkling clean, the welcome folder is well taken care of. The location is ideal for hiking and biking, Bern is easily accessible. The kitchen and bathroom are well equipped with all the comforts. Recommended.

Sandra and Pierre's place is a beautiful little oasis. We felt very comfortable. The accommodation offers everything you need for a few days in nature. In addition, there are very great swimming opportunities in the creek that flows through the property. We highly recommend the property and would love to come back!

The in-law was for us (2 adults)., 3 children 5, 6 & 8 years old) ideal. Everything was as described, various toys for children available and also in the kitchen everything to get enough of a small family. Communication was always friendly and pleasant. Beatrice is an excellent host, friendly, attentive, helpful and yet discreet. She was always there when you had an issue or needed tips about the area. The highlight was certainly the great garden, both for the children and for the adults to end the evening. The funicular can be reached on foot within 15-20 minutes and a great starting point for various excursions in the wonderful surroundings. We'll be more than happy to come back! Thank you.😊

The four of us (+ dog) spent five very relaxing days at Christopher's house. An extraordinarily beautiful place! We never moved our car during the entire vacation. Everything was very easily accessible on foot, by boat or train. Twann (15 min walk) fulfilled all our wishes (restaurants/village shop & very good wines). The house is perfect for a relaxing vacation by the lake. Our dog was able to move freely in the fenced garden, the property and terrace are a dream, the pedal boat was used daily - Thank you Christoph! MERCI!

The place is very nice... very quiet... the dogs felt comfortable. Since I couldn't cope with the TV without programs, Karin drove from Bern to Gletterens with an HDM cable... great service... Unfortunately, I had to leave after 4 nights, my dog has ear infection, and urgently had to go to the veterinarian... Will have surgery next week. Thank you Karin and all the best

Nice detached house

Francoise’s place was perfect for us, two friends travelling. Plenty space which meant we both had our own bed- and bathroom and more than enough space in the kitchen and living room. Very clean and had all amenities we could ask for. Lovely big garden space to make use of, too. I have no hesitation recommending Francoise’s house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a pleasant stay in Portalban; close to beaches, 3 lakes, hiking; and ideal starting point for visiting many remarkable Swiss sites (Gruyères, Le Creux du Van, Avenches, Morat, Bern, Solothurn, La Chaux-de-Fond...) The cottage is quiet, close to nature; (we often had a visit from a fox); on the edge of the marsh. Philipp was a kind and attentive host to us. We recommend this property. Sylvain and Elisabeth

Great location! Amazing and beautiful surroundings. The apartment was very clean, cosy and had all the amenities. The hosts are super friendly, nice and responsive. The only challenge was when we cleaned the apartment at checkout, because there was no vacuum cleaner and we had to use the broom to sweep the floor and with the vacuum cleaner it would have been much faster and easier.

Our party of 6 couldn't have been happier with Helene's place and its surroundings. This was a little idyllic piece of Switzerland. In the evenings a herd of cows grazed in the field behind the house while we had dinner in the garden. In the morning we saw foxes hunting in the fields on our morning jog. Helene's is near many places of historic and cultural interest including medieval towns, castles, a cheese factory, a chocolate factory, caves and places to swim. It was both lovely and relaxing.

We had a great time at Nicole and Marcel's! The accommodation is as described, very clean, comfortable and perfectly equipped. The location is ideal, quiet while being close to everything. The host was very welcoming, available and responsive, which greatly facilitated our arrival and stay. It really feels like home. Lake is nearby, you can reach after 10 min walk, also very clean and well maintained, water is very clear, perfect for families with children. I can only recommend it! Very welcoming and very well soundproofed accommodation. I was there to work at night in Fribourg, which is a 10-minute drive or by TPF line. TPF station is a 2-minute walk away. I was able to sleep very well during the day in peace unlike other places. I came back the following week to finish my work and everything had been cleaned even though I told the host it wasn't necessary if there was no reservation over the weekend. I'll go back without a problem if I have to go back to work in the Fribourg area. Eric

We loved Regina's place. The townhouse has been beautifully renovated and extremely stylishly furnished - a real gem! Great location in the middle of the old town. The kitchen is perfectly furnished, you don't miss anything and the whole house is just great, we immediately felt at home. We've been to various Air-B'n'Bs, but this place has surpassed everything that has come before. Thank you for the hospitality!

We enjoyed the quaint, cozy chalet very much. The garden is amazing! We were allowed to help ourselves to the fresh fruit in the garden. When we needed support, Benny helped us immediately. There was only one small downside. The sofa bed was made up for us in the living room. It took a little getting used to and the sleeping comfort was not particularly good. We would prefer a real bed. All in all, however, a top place to stay.

We stayed in the house for 4 nights in 6 people. The house is practically new with 4 bedrooms upstairs, and 2 bathrooms, one with shower, one with a bathtub. On the ground floor,the entrance,the third bathroom (shower),the laundry room and the living area, consisting of a beautiful open space with kitchen, dining room and living room, TV area. Opening the window doors, this environment meets the garden, becoming one. In the kitchen you will find in addition to the refrigerator, including freezer, dishwasher, induction hob and coffee machine in addition to the necessary dishes. In the laundry room, washer and dryer. Carport with two covered parking spaces. This is a house normally inhabited by the host and his family, so it's inevitable that there are items, clothes, or food they own. That wasn't a problem for us. Communication with the host, in my case in English, has always been courteous and timely. Sandrine has always been patient and helpful. Mercì Sandrine.

We loved this place so much! Beautiful house (perfect size for 2 people) and garden. The surrounding area is just wonderful! It gets very quiet at times and very dark at night, it took me personally 1-2 days to adjust. Getting there was a bit difficult since we had to rely on public transport. We took the funicular up to Macolin and then used a taxi service based in Biel to take us to the house (80 CHF). From Macolin we think it is most advisable to take the road / path called "Prés de Macolin Derrière". If you were to walk it would probably take you 1h+. The hosts were very responsive which was greatly appreciated.

A vibrant display of potted plants and flowers adorns the area in front of the building. Various species, including colorful blooms in pink and white, are arranged in planters. A lush green overhang adds a natural touch to the welcoming outdoor space.
