Had the best couple of days staying at the hut, was greeted by Alexandra who was extremely friendly and helpful she showed us the facilities and hut. hut itself was a lovely little place, we could've happily stayed for longer. If we are ever back in the area we would definitely stay again, thanks so much :)

Loved staying here for a second year in a row. The hideaway hut is tranquil and the perfect break from a busy life. Love nothing more than relaxing in the hot tub and listening to nature surrounding us. Thanks again for another perfect weekend away!

We had the best time here! Penny and Ant were so welcoming and kind. They gave us maps and recommended nice walks in the area which was so helpful. The shepherds hut itself was perfect, really cosy with the wood fire stove and great selection of games. It has everything you need, nice hot shower and Penny provides delicious breakfast food and scones. Such a special place, can’t recommend enough!

This is our 5th time staying at The Glade. Myself, my son and our pooch love it there. Its so private, quiet and i love to sit amongst the wildlife and bird watch. A nice walk in the woods right beside the hut or just a chilled swing in the hammock. It is our favourite place to unwind. I love how everytime we visit the surroundings look different with the ever changing wildlife. It is as beautiful in winter and rain as it is in the sun and summer. Autumn has to be my favourite. Juliet is a lovely host and is not intrusive in the slightest. However she is very responsive if you need anything. We had a lovely chat this time whilst i was sat bird watching and she told me about a few birds she had seen. What can i say if you need to unwind then this is the place. Comfortable, quiet, homely and warm.

Amazing stay at Mark’s shepherds hut. Incredible location, super peaceful and as described. Well kitted out. We had a lovely BBQ and enjoyed some marshmallows say around the fire. The abbey nearby was worth a visit and had a swim in the river. Would definitely visit again. Thanks Mark.

The Shepherd's Hut was a very comfortable and convenient stay for our needs. The interior is very cute and the theme is applied perfectly. Nice to be on the edge of a working farm. The escapee ducks were a highlight. Communication with Mandy was easy. We would come back.

Couldn’t rate this place highly enough! Would give 6 stars if I could. From the beautiful location to the friendly hosts, this was a perfect weekend getaway. Mariana and Jamie were so helpful throughout, gave us great recommendations for local places to eat, and the adorable Miss Moneypenny coming to say hello were just a few reasons this place was amazing. Would love to come back!

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Even better than the pictures. After having stressful Jons as a nurse and firefighter it’s amazing at how relaxed and distressful it was. Having the bath outside you don’t feel overlooked or watched in. Andrew and his wife has thought of everything, all I would say is take a tripod for your phone as you will want to take so many pictures. Would 100% stay here again and definitely recommend to family and friends

Me and my friends had a wonderful time at the Showman's hut. Everything was just as we had imagined. Peaceful and relaxing. The only problem we had was that we should have booked the hot tub 48 hours in advance and I did 24 instead so we could not use the hot tub. In the end Neily was very accommodating by giving us some extra logs for the firepit and barbeque which we appreciated. Next time I will make sure to book the tub in advance to enjoy the full experience at Showman's hut as it looked amazing. Thank you Neily for the hospitality.

We had a very relaxing stay, the location is so pretty, the hut is set in a great sized garden, which is not overlooked at all. It is close to a cafe and gorgeous gift shop, and a short walk to the village shops and pub. We had a fire pit both nights and just relaxed. Andrea was great and recommended the Somerset Cider Bus which was a 10 minute drive away, and that was a lot of fun, that's on every Saturday until Autumn. Andrea was friendly, helpful and a great host. We even bought some of their stone carvings. The hut itself is awesome, with a great eye for detail, it is a beautiful place to stay, you won't be disappointed.

Had an amazing time thanks to Karen and Simon. They really have thought of everything you could want to do and are just really lovely and kind people. I really appreciate the time Karen has put into all the list of places she suggests to visit and all her little touches like the snacks she left us. We just went for a weekend but a weekend is not enough! There is so much to do and the surroundings are beautiful. Once again, thank you so much Karen and Simon!

What an absolutely beautiful place to stay! The hut was like something out of a fairytale. Ei has excellent taste, it was decorated perfectly. From the bed you have views over the rolling hills of the surrounding farmland and also of the wildflower meadow in the garden. It is so peaceful there- we woke up to the sound of birds singing every morning with no other noise. Ei also has a very friendly cat who chose to join us for our dinners in the garden. She left us lots of lovely local food and drinks in the kitchen which were delicious. There is also a barbecue outside in case you feel like having one one evening. The bed is extremely comfy. The only thing I might mention is that the mattress is quite soft and might not be the best for people with back problems.

We had the most wonderful stay in this charming shepherd’s hut. It was warm, beautifully decorated, and perfectly peaceful. The highlight was definitely the hot tub — relaxing under the stars was such a treat. And the baby goats! They were absolutely adorable, playful, and made the whole experience feel even more special. We loved spending time with them and couldn’t stop smiling. A perfect little getaway for anyone needing some rest, fresh air, and a touch of countryside magic.

Wow wow wow! Headland hideaway is stunning! Absolutely gorgeous, Mike was amazing!!! Messaged every day to check all is okay, send photos of the signpost where to turn and exactly where to park etc. his food recommendation were helpful and stop on! Tried lots and all were amazing! The pool was the biggest hit and we were so lucky when we stayed we had amazing weather! Everything was spotless and modern, loved the remote control curtains! A fabulous half term dreamy weekend! Thank you so much Mike! It was an absolute pleasure!

Had a wonderful stay. The shepherds hut had everything we needed for a peaceful retreat and yet was near the beach and some great market towns. The outside space was lovely especially the hot tub overlooking the lake. Would definitely recommend.

absolutely perfect, booked this for my partners birthday & he loved his surprise, as did i.. the pictures does not to its justice, it was so beautiful. even had a little hamper left for us, nice little touch. we went for a drive into Brean & come back in the evenings lit the fires and toasted marshmallows where was left for us and then chilled by the fire and watched fireworks going off from a distance.. it would’ve been the perfect time for my partner to propose.. ha! but all that being said, ive had over 10+ people on my social media asking where i was staying, so ive already gave the link to them all so fingers crossed you’ll be getting more bookings as you deserve. Great little hut on the edge of the heathland, that perfectly suited a chilled night with our youngest son, he absolutely loved the hut, collecting wood for the fire and the rope swing . Perfect nights sleep had by all.

Immaculate accommodation-I needed strength to pull bed down and the table up but knew Sarah was over the road if I got stuck! The setting was magical and the easy access walking ideal. I’m only sad my partner wasn’t there to share it with me-maybe next time 😊

Our stay at the Shepherds hut exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful inside and out, spotlessly clean, tasteful decor and had everything we needed for a relaxed and pleasant stay. The view was stunning and Lacock is 15 min walk away. We were fortunate with the weather but it would still be great in the cold or rain. Our host Dilly was lovely and would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend.
