‘The Rustic Cabin’ was built in the late 60’s as a weekend getaway. Located a 15 minute drive from Sechelt, the Welcome Woods cabin maintains much of the eclectic building style common on the Coast in that era. Most similar dwellings are long gone. It’s a perfect location with Sargeant Bay, Fullerton Beach and Welcome Woods Market, all within a 15 minute walk or short drive. Across the street are kilometres of hiking, and biking trails. Our family has enjoyed the quiet area since 2007.

This was an adorable unit, it felt like a home away from home. Perfect for a girls get away weekend. Jennifer was so accommodating and helpful. Would highly recommend this warm and cozy place.

Vicki’s place was perfect for what we needed. She was very quick to respond to all our inquiries. If you stay here- you’re a super quick drive to all of what Sechelt has to offer. Bricker’s Cidery is walking distance and there are a couple parks in the neighbourhood. What stood out the most was the beautiful garden patio. You are surrounded by lush tropical plants and you can even see the ocean. The hot tub was a treat along with being able to use the bbq. It was a welcoming space for kids and we really appreciated it. Thanks for a great stay!

As a family with differing age groups, I.e. 69 year old grandparents, 30 plus parents and a 2 year old grandchild, it was perfect!! The rooms were incredible, and the downstairs games/ book/toy cabinet was inspirational. The view from the upstairs terrace was sensational, and the telescope provided gave us a brilliant view of the bald-headed eagles in a nearby tree. Only one word of caution ;-although Danielle described it as a 5-minute walk down to the beach, for us 69 year olds it sure ain’t 5 minutes on the way back!!

Very responsive host, beautiful home just like the pictures very easy instructions to access the home. The host was very accommodating as well, the home had beautiful views and lots of indoor and outdoor space.

Beautiful space, it's places like Nicol's that make me continue using Airbnb. Thoughtful touches, nice decor, and an overall charming theme to the home. The space isn't huge but it's well laid out to maximize its comfort and utility. The breakfast was a great added touch!
