Thanks for a great stay Lindsey and Gail! This cute little house has a great location in Amble on a quiet street, that's just a 5 minute walk to the main shopping street and 10 mins from the harbour. Our stand outs were the very comfy bed in the main bedroom and the amazing shower! The house also heats up fast, as we found after arriving on a chilly day, and there was always a parking space for us on the street :) It was all spotlessly clean. This is a great base for exploring the beautiful Northumberland coast!

The house was spotless with plenty of room downstairs for us. The main bedroom was large and lovely with an ensuite shower/ toilet. The other 2 bedrooms were smaller but perfect for our needs. All beds were very comfy. The kitchen/diner was VERY well stocked with everything thing we could have needed. Lovely welcome basket with fresh bread and milk with some goodies too and a fresh bag of coffee. Lots of little thoughtful extras, like books, games, doggy items, beach towels and a fab record player! We loved sitting in the garden in the morning and evening. Hardly noticed there were neighbours as it was very peaceful despite being a residential area. We loved our stay and if back in the area would definitely stay again. A lovely home in a beautiful location! Situated on a very quiet cul-de-sac but only a 10 minute walk from Amble with its beautiful harbour and shops/restaurants/cafes. Perfect for exploring the Northumberland coast line, so much to see while not having to drive too far. House was spotlessly clean and well equipped, and Paul kept in touch to make sure all was ok. Food wise we ate at Rossini’s (Italian) and Wellwood Arms (pub grub) and food at both were great. Gracy’s cafe was brilliant for lunch, lovely and cosy and very dog friendly. They made a huge fuss of our Cavalier Poppy! Couldn’t have picked a nicer place to stay for my birthday. Definitely fell in love the Amble while we were there! Thanks again Paul.

This is a lovely stylish place in Jesmond, with everything a few minutes away. Great quality towels and sheets, very clean and Ben's communication was fast and excellent and he even made a video to run through some key points! Parking is great, and the nearest metro is under 10 mins walk. The light filled living room/kitchen is lovely and it was very quiet. Loved our break and will stay here again. Note - there are quite a few steps to get to the top but it's listed as a top floor flat.

We enjoyed our three night stay. The flat had everything that we needed. Being on a quiet street,very close to the town centre and the shore it was a good base to go walking from. No complaints.

We had a lovely short stay at Steph’s place. It was perfect for our needs as we were with a number of family members staying nearby. It was very quiet and relaxing after a full day exploring the area. We tried the local Indian takeaway which was first class. I would certainly stay here again.

Dawn is a lovely host with a beautiful, warm, cosy and clean home. The garden and pets are just adorable. We had a wonderful break and made good use of the pool. There are so many castles and beautiful gardens located a short drive away. Great place for families. I will be recommending this flat and hosts to my friends.

Dean's apartment was clean, comfy and just as described. The location was perfect for us visiting relatives in the area. The metro is a short walk which gave easy access to the city centre. We would recommend Dean's apartment.

Really enjoyed our stay in Yvonne’s property. The flat was pristine, very spacious and the guidebooks and treats really made the difference. My mother and I would definitely return should we need accommodation in Newcastle again - thank you!

We are return visitors to The Lady Rhoda. A clean, stylish, welcoming house with everything you need. Very welcoming owner who leaves a lovely useful welcome pack. Great comms from the host. Its worth noting that the property has many stairs, should that pose an issue for your booking. That being said, the property and the surroundings were superb We will return next year

Fantastic location for a weekend with a 16month old. Spacious bedroom, good quality cot, comfortable living room, well equipped kitchen. Short walk through a nice park with a kids playground and small boating lake, to get to the large sandy beach and the start of a coastal walk. We had no car and manged this trip from London, getting a nice coastal bus to and from Sunderland to the place and a bus back from our coastal walk.

Had a fantastic stay at Kris’ place, what a little gem! Great area, loved walking in Jesmond Dene and a short distance to the city centre. The hot tub was a lovely luxury, but the property is amazing in itself, very well equipped, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We were staying with a young baby and it was really appreciated that the travel cot was there set up ready for us, we’d highly recommend and will definitely book again in the future if we’re in the area.

Fabulous place for peace and quiet. So close to the beach for walks with the dogs. Everywhere we walked to was really catered for dogs. Some great places to walk to on the beach. Accomodation warm and cosy just as described, host made you feel at home with nothing too much trouble. Will definitely be back.

Fabulous apartment with beautiful sea views. Fantastic communication with our very welcoming host. We arrived to lots of special touches which helped us to feel at home from the start! Very comfortable accommodation. Private parking was a bonus. Would definitely book again!

This is very good accommodation in a lovely little seaside town. We didn't know the area that well and were trying to pick a good place as a base for a long weekend visit. It turned out to be a very good choice. Inside, the accommodation was in good order, pleasant to be in, and just what we wanted. We had no trouble at all with on-street parking near the accommodation which isn't always the case in some places. There were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. We would recommend La Familia Italian restaurant. We also bought some first rate meat at the local butchers. In the guide for guests inside the accommodation it mentioned sea trips to see Puffins at a nearby island. We went on a trip which was excellent. It also saved us a planned journey to Seahouses up the coast for a similar trip, which could not have been any better. Overall we would definitely stay here again. There is so much to see an do within just a few miles, and some of it within walking distance.
