Vacation rentals with a home theater in Scotland

We had a wonderful stay here and cannot wait to come back! Jennifer is amazing as a host, quick responses and so helpful. She gave us a list of things we could whilst we were there which was so helpful. The apartment is so cosy and was spotless when we arrived. The holiday village is fantastic for kids. The swimming pool is easy to book online and the playroom is great for the younger ones. The restaurant is a bit on the expensive side but we were able to cook in the apartment, each evening. The double air fryer was super handy! We loved this place and genuinely cannot wait for another visit.

The studio is new, very comfortable, perfectly equipped and extremely clean, a real home away from home! It is situated in an old bakehouse. Georgina and Alistair are very kind and they care for their guests. The studio is located in a magnificent area of Scotland, full of cliffs, nature and plenty of walks all around. Definitely recommended!

This apartment was right by the ocean, waking up each day to the sound waves was the highlight of our trip. Beach within sight and easy to access. The host had the apartment to a cozy temp when we arrived, a Christmas tree set up knowing I had two small children and presents for them under the tree. So incredibly thoughtful. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities and some extra items to get us through like coffee, oil and salt. When I had questions it was a very quick and detailed response. Overall we had a great experience and would return.

Ian’s place was stunning in every aspect from the cleanliness right down to the location. This Air BnB is a real gem and perfect for exploring The Lake District. Ian is a good host who answered all of our questions. We loved it so much we booked an extra night. Would highly recommend a stay in this Air BnB, we will definitely return.

A really excellent stay with Martin. The actual flat is very unique and has amazing history. Extremely conveniently located to town centre and the sea. Had everything we needed for the stay. Very comfy beds, warm, a sink in every room. Martin was an exemplary host, attentive and responsive and made our stay really special. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent place for a short break in Fort William. The host was ver helpful and welcoming, and the studio had everything I needed: a very comfortable bed and a well-equiped kitchen. It is in easy walking distance from the town centre.

I wanted peaceful place near the water. Even though flat was in the buildings complex it was very quiet and no disturbance at all. Place was walking distance to the city center and stores

Absolutely beautiful house with the most amazing garden. It had everything you could need, especially for the kids with the outdoor play area and hidden playroom. Ali was a great host, super responsive and very welcoming. We will definitely be visiting again!

Lovely house in a good location. It was easy to walk into the town centre and nearby beaches. The house was well appointed and very comfortable. Kristian was a great host and we really enjoyed our stay.

Positives - Lovely and clean. Good kitchen space - Drew has thought about hosting many people, in terms of cutlery, fridge space, 2 dishwashers etc. Great venue for multiple generations to get together. The games room was super, the outside table space was great. Tips - take your own shower soaps and shampoos and a few extra dishwasher tablets. Drew was super helpful, I'd stay there again and i think that's the best recommendation anyone can give! Thanks Drew.

This place is fantastic. The house is mega, and can’t beat the location. Jack and Guadalupe were top notch hosts. Will hope to have this place again next time we’re in the highlands.

Check-in instructions were detailed and helpful. The apartment was even better than we expected, very clean and well stocked. As cooking lovers we could not have asked for a better kitchen! Overall a wonderful place; we would stay here again easily!

We had an amazing stay at Seb’s place for our girls weekend! The photos don’t do the space justice, the area is very peaceful and it is located within beautiful surroundings. Seb was very responsive and also allowed us to have a later check out which was very helpful! We also used the boat on the property which was great fun and the cottage was the perfect base for visiting other activities in the area (Peebles, Go Ape etc.). Seb also allowed us to park a fifth car and so he was very accommodating with all of our requests. There were plenty of kitchen utensils/appliances to make our stay very comfortable. Seb even left us some cake to welcome us which was a really nice touch!

The house was clean and spacious with all the amenities that we needed for a relaxing weekend. It was a nice touch to have toiletries available for guests, my teenage boys appreciated the huge television!

Lovely place to stay in a quiet area away from town with easy transport links

Needed somewhere to stay for a week to work out of. This location was really nice, soon as you leave the location and walk down the hill your on the Quayside which was super beautiful on the days the sun shined. The room itself was clean and tidy. And was a great space to get a lot of work done during the week. Lots of great food options within walking distance. Loved the stay so much I’m thinking of renting nearby. Would recommend.

Lovely well.designed and decorated apartment, finished to a high standard and with some lovely features. Looked exactly as pictured and was spotlessly clean. Cosy, calm relaxing space, would recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Armoury. The apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable, well equipped and warm (despite the cold weather). The location is very convenient (with shops within easy walking distance) but tucked away/quiet (especially overnight). Catrina was helpful, friendly and responsive. Recommended.

A really lovely, well presented apartment. Although on the edge of town it still worked really well as a base for us in exploring the surrounding area, and Inverness, which is pretty easy to navigate too. Also the added benifit is that it has stunning views of the city and surrounding area. Although it wasnt untill out last night that i found the binoculars!! The apartment its self was very clean, comfy and free for clutter, and the Host was extremely responsive and helpful with our requests. Would definitely recommend.

Centrally located appartment with great view over the river and a very nice pub next door. The hosts are super nice and considerate and the breakfast is top notch. If this type of accommodation suites you, I highly recommend it.

I spent nearly four months in Wendy's accommodation. I had a great time there! The apartment itself offers great views, and the room is very comfortable. It is easily accessible by bus and has a good connection to the city centre and main University Campus, as well as being close to a big supermarket and the beach. Being on the outskirts of the city and by the sea, it made it very easy to find peace, walking along the beach or visiting my personal favourite place, Newhailes Estate. For those coming to study here: the bus connection to the University of Edinburgh's King's Buildings is not great, especially on the way back, and if you'll have to be there a lot I'd recommend getting a bicycle, which is about twice as fast. Wendy is a very friendly host, who is usually not home during the day but if you run into her and she has time she will be open for a chat - for example sharing stories or music. She loves baking, and might leave something she made in the fridge for you!

Allegra’s place was so cozy! We loved all of the natural light and all of the artwork. We got lots of use out of the electric kettle once we bought tea from the Morrison’s that is a short walk away. Getting around on the bus was SUPER easy because they were just around the corner. The children enjoyed a small playground a short block away. 6 of us stayed there comfortably and we were able to cook meals because of the well stocked kitchenware to save money. Overall a really amazing and affordable place to stay in Edinburgh.

Return visit to Maura's flat and again it didnt disappoint.We were given clear directions and getting into the flat via the key safe couldnt have been easier.Mauras flat is clean,very comfortable and has an excellent view of the peir and boats,perfect to sit and watch the comings and goings. We are delighted to have found Maura's flat, have no hesitstion in recommending it and we most definately will return.
