Monthly Rentals in Schoodic Peninsula

Bill's place was clean, friendly, cosy, quaint, warm and homey. We chose this place, due to its proximity to Acadia National Park - which is one the the MAIN reasons, we visited MAINE :) The kitchen had everything we needed and there was the added touch of - Maine Whoopy Pies and carmelized pop-corn. The warm and cosy living room with the large TV + Netflix - was a welcome retreat after a busy day of sight seeing in beautiful Maine. Great, beautiful location, easy access to the one and only local store, barber shop, gas station and the ice cream place - which was closed for the season. Bill responded to my messages almost instantaneously. Bill accommodated my request to check in a day ahead of time. I would heartily recommend Bill's place to anyone. rajiv

Can a place be so beautiful that's it's therapeutic? This part of Maine certainly answers that question. We went in early spring to check in on a summer home renovation about 8 miles from Sarah's place. We loved the space which allowed us to have our grandchildren over and was convenient to the stores in Winter Harbor. Our grandchildren loved the games Sarah has on the shelf. It's so quiet and peaceful that time of year - but even if we need a place at the height of the season it would be perfect. We avoid driving to Bar Harbor in the summer, but Sarah's place is not far from the Winter Harbor to Bar Harbor ferry, which is a great way to get to Bar Harbor for an outing. It's also an easy bike ride to the entrance of the Schoodic section of Acadia National Park. We're not bikers but we love to drive out to Schoodic point on the loop in the park. In the summer we have great meals in the nearby restaurants and cooked lobster from the Lobstore - it's the total Maine experience.

Highly recommend staying at any of Rich & Julie’s listings, but this particular cottage was one of the best airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in! Expect exactly what’s listed, and know that it was super clean, cozy, and has beautiful views of the harbor and lobster boats. Two of us and our dog traveled during the off season and still had an amazing time hanging out in the cottage or exploring the small local towns. We will definitely stay at one of their listings again!

I had a great time at JC's place. The location was near the national park but it felt private. Everything was clean and exactly as described. The wifi was a little spotty, so don't expect to rely on it for anything serious, but I was able to do enough research about my hikes every day. During my stay I also ran into an issue with the water heater every day, but JC was very responsive and got it fixed promptly. I'd stay here again.
