Vacation rentals with lake access in Schleiden

It was a lovely place for a Christmas holiday, surrounded by mountains and with a lake nearby. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

We spent an extended weekend with 6 adults and a toddler in Christina's mill house. It was a wonderful stay. What I particularly liked was the cozy furnishings and the thoughtful layout of the rooms. With 8 people, you have a lot of shared space available, space for private retreat with a total of 3 bathrooms (2 bathrooms en suite) and a separate toilet. Christina has an eye for the decorative detail, which has made every room wonderfully cozy. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped. Only the Wi-Fi could not be received in every corner of the house, which did not detract from our stay. The nature around the mill house is just amazing!!! Thank you very much, Christina!

Very nice place, well equipped and good location for nearby attractions. For motorsports enthusiasts, Spa Francochamps circuit is 20, 25min away. Lots of hiking nearby as well on April. The stairs are something to be aware of if you have small children or disabilities. Other than that, pretty nice place, quiet and close to a lot of hiking and attractions.

We stayed in the Beller cottage for the second time and felt very comfortable again. Just a lovely atmosphere

Thomas' place is really a great gem We felt very comfortable there as a family. Everything was clean and you can really relax there. There's a lot to discover in the area. It's worth going there

We spent a seminar at 30 in Arnaud's accommodation. Everything was perfect, from the communication to the reception, the accommodation was really great and warm, very well equipped. We had a great time. The river view is stunning. No complaints!

Lovely little and very clean apartment in a quiet and beautiful area. You will find everything you need for a few days stay. The bus connection to the city is very good, but also on foot the path is doable. The contact with Margarita was great. She is very friendly and responds quickly. I'd love to come back!

We felt very comfortable. The place was as described and insanely clean! There was no unnecessary stuff around, everything was carefully selected for use. If you are susceptible to noise, you should bring earplugs, as you can hear all the steps from above. The bedroom door to the street can be closed. We also visited Magdalena's Variety, which is right behind the main house, which we can really recommend.

Great apartment, we felt comfortable right away. The location is great, you have a great view of the lake and it is also directly on the lake on foot. In the apartment is everything you need and Wilfried answers questions quickly. We would definitely come back!

We have enjoyed this lovely and very spacious apartment. You can also relax on the private terrace outside and enjoy the peace and the birds chirping. The owners are super hospitable and very caring. We were brought our breakfast in the apartment all weekend, table was set. That really felt like pampering! In the restaurant also deliciously eaten after a long bike ride through the beautiful surroundings. The young lady and young man who also worked there during the weekend were also super friendly. Compliments to them too!

Had a great stay at the Klaus family's! We were very warmly welcomed and felt very well looked after. We would be happy to come back at any time and would highly recommend the accommodation :)

The place is quite compact, but it has everything you need. Is well suited for a short trip and for relaxation.

Enjoyed this nice place in the Ardennes! Many beautiful walks nearby (lake of Gileppe, Solwaster, Hertogenwald, Ninglinspo and Hoge Venen). The spacious, bright cottage that is located on a main road has everything you need and more. Dorine provides a warm welcome with nice surprises and local tips. Recommended!

We had a wonderful time in the apartment of Rainer and his family. Booked over a year in advance, we already had a very nice contact. Shortly before arrival, we were also in constant contact, as we had spontaneously considered staying a little longer. And Rainer promised us super flexibly that we could stay a few days longer and think about it in peace. We arrived very late, and that was no problem for Rainer either. He showed us the accommodation and provided us with great tips for restaurants and the like. In general, I have to say that Rainer was one of the most flexible hosts we were able to get to know. The apartment was wonderful, and had everything you need. It was clean and due to the temperatures Rainer had preheated the apartment a little for us. When we asked on the last day when we had to check out, we even had the opportunity to spend the day on site. Thank you =)

We immediately felt at home in Laurence's beautiful and cosy Gîte. We were warmly welcomed by Laurence himself on arrival. Everything was well taken care of and we also enjoyed the attentions such as fresh fruit, a few fresh eggs from Laurence's chickens and a bottle of bubbly! The beautiful surroundings are awesome. The Gîte itself is spacious, clean and really equipped with all the comforts. Laurence herself is super sweet and always helpful in everything! A week was actually too short but more than worth it! We enjoyed everything very much and it is repeatable!! Thank you so much dear Laurence for everything!

We stayed for several weeks and had a amazing time. The location is so serene and beautiful while still being near cities. Living in the middle of nature was very special. Something to consider is that the house is quite clairaudient, which was no problem for us at all. Overall we are super satisfied. We highly suggest this House.

We had a very nice time with our friends and were able to relax superbly. The surroundings were really nice and also the house had everything you need for a long weekend. Communication with Olivier was very good and he was really very friendly and helpful.

It's already something special there. Quiet, surrounded by nature … just right for unwinding! Great ambiance! We felt very comfortable. A second stay is not excluded 😊

The house is super nice and cozy. Nothing is missing so far. Attention, sauna and hot tub must be heated with wood. Don't be shy about this. The sauna was in a neat, clean condition (lying down not possible). The hot tub was clean and prepared with chlorine. You have to let in the water yourself, so you also know directly that it is fresh. Unfortunately, the lighting doesn't work here. The garden/outdoor area could use some care and attention to rank it even higher. The hammock was unusable, unfortunately full of bird droppings. We reported minor defects or defective utensils to the landlord. They reacted positively to the information and would like to respond. If you want to experience an undisturbed break paired with wellness and a beautiful, idyllic location among many trees, this is the place to be. Thanks for the pleasant weekend. 😃👍🏼

Hans-Jürgen's accommodation has been the perfect place to relax, with well equipped amenities and in a lovely location. The village of Ulmen Maar is quiet, and we’d highly recommend the local Pizzeria “Vesuvio”. The Immediate surroundings are great to explore on foot, and Jungferweiher lake is on the doorstep which is connected via an incredible cave / tunnel to Ulmen Maar.
