Great stay for the holiday season despite rainy weather. Gite where nothing is lacking, you can feel at home away from home! Nothing to complain about cleanliness. Breathtaking view from the terrace, especially when the day rises in the early morning. Small gifts on arrival very much appreciated. Thank you Fred for your warm welcome, as well as for the trust. The accommodation is ideally located 35 minutes from all the Christmas markets and other visiting points, such as the Château du Hautkoenisbourg, access to the hiking trail etc... The only downside is parking as the space reserved for the listing is permanently occupied by the neighbors. We will gladly repeat the experience.

Charming Alsatian house 10 minutes from Colmar

We were with the family (including 2 grandchildren) in the nice cottage. In the garden and in the yard, the grandchildren could play nicely, the playground was also not far. The house is very spacious and there was everything we needed, including a well-functioning pellet heating. We were able to reach Colmar easily with the bikes. Delphine and her husband have always kindly taken care of us. We will be happy to come again and highly recommend the cottage.

Everything was super.The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Even when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the house, they quickly responded and were happy to help. Also when we couldn't get the fireplace to run, they were quick to help and swing by. The house is very modern and accommodates all the needs of adults and children. All the rooms had shutters that could make the room dark, making sleeping with young children very easy. From the kitchen, one could see the small garden, also making it great for also smaller children to play outside while parents could watch and cook meals from insid. All necessary kitchen equipment was available, even seasonings and oils! The check-in and out were very clear in description and easy to follow the steps. One tiny recommendation I would suggest is to be able to check out at 11 instead of 10.That would make the morning with small children a little easier. I highly recommend this location.I would come again anytime. thank you for having us!

Our stay in Birkenwald was a lovely experience. The cottage, located in a very quiet environment, is comfortable, extremely clean and very well arranged. Everything is decorated with taste. My family and I can only recommend staying with Matthieu who is an ideal host: friendly, helpful, welcoming, attentive, responsive. We'll be happy to come back to Birkenwald for a stay at La Grange.

Together with the extended family, we spent very nice days over Easter in the well-equipped, sparkling clean, and child-friendly house! We were very pleased about the nice reception with chocolate eggs, Easter lamb and sparkling wine. On the spacious grounds we could play boules and football, barbecue, visit the chickens and the goat... and also in the house there was enough space to play with the grandchildren. We were welcomed by a very cozily furnished house with many small welcome gifts (thank you for these delicious cookies, dear Teresa) and immediately felt at home. We were particularly impressed by the nice neighborhood and the wonderfully equipped kitchen. The arrival and departure was totally uncomplicated and Teresa answered every question within 10 minutes. All in all highly recommended!

The apartment is very spacious. The bedrooms in the above mentioned have no tub or only one sliding door and are therefore clairaudient. The apartment was very clean and practically furnished. There are a lot of toys for small children. Goldbach-Altenbach is a very quiet place in the Vosges mountains. Opposite the property is a small, new and beautiful children's playground.
