I think we'll be back. We were at the end of April, so before the start of the season, which I think was a big plus, because the beach was empty, quiet and peaceful. Beautiful sea, beach, views of Sicily... and wanted to get up and wake up with these paintings. A helpful and welcoming host. It guarantees transportation to the airport or the city. A warm cruisant was waiting for us every morning. Dinner is ordered from Agata, very tasty and served right on the terrace in front of the cottage. The kids had a great time on the beach, it was safe and quiet. The accommodation is worth recommending!

We had a great time at Dario’s place. Incredibly well located but still very peaceful at night. The space was nice and big with two bathrooms and lots of space to relax as well as a lovely balcony. Dario was a lovely and easy to reach host - would highly recommend!

Scilla wonderful apartment

Filippo’s place was a spacious little gem with an incredible view over the coastline. The apartment was clean and airy, with lots of personal touches from his Sicilian heritage. The view is from the front door veranda next to the walk way rather than a balcony but it really doesn’t matter, it’s stunning. The location is great for getting into both Scilla and Chianalea but beware of the stairs, there really are a lot of them, but as long as you have no mobility issues it should be totally manageable! Filippo was also very communicative and quick to respond so that was very helpful. All in all we had a wonderful stay and would come back again.

Theresa is a friendly person, welcoming, helpful and always attentive. The space and amenities are perfect. The place is pleasant and very relaxing, but the major asset is the surrounding. One of the most beautiful setting that amazes the eyes with a panoramic view of Castelmola, Taormina and the sea. On the other side, you'll also have a view of Etna. Just a tip, it's better to arrive on the first day when it's day because the road is quite bumpy in places. For us it was a nice stay that we highly recommend.

We spent 2 nights in Graziano's apartment, located in a small alley in the charming village of Castelmola. Her dad Rino gave us an appointment at the entrance to the village and followed it by car to a private parking spot below. It's best to leave your car in the parking lot and get off by bus to Taormina. The apartment was large and comfortable, superb upstairs terrace with sea view. Thank you!

Lucia was very, very responsive & communicated perfectly. She went above & beyond what you could expect! The views from the expansive terrace were phenomenal! The location is perfect. A nice, quiet, & clean residential area with less thsn a 10 minute walk to groceries & the city center with everything! Shops, restaurants, post office, etc. We hated to leave & wouls definitely recomment the apartment!!

A bright and cozy apartment with a fantastic view of the sea and Etna. Everything is working, comfortable beds, impeccable cleanliness. Very convenient self check-in, very clear instructions. We had a lovely stay at Villa Ambra. As others have mentioned in previous reviews, the place looks better than in the pictures. It was clean and had a very nice outdoor area with a pool, sunbeds, dining area, grill and table tennis. We had to check in very late, but that was no problem which was very nice. We would also like to recommend the taxi driver Carmelo and his son Luca, recommended by the host of the villa (his card is in the villa). Carmelo was like our private guide every time we needed to go somewhere and told us a lot about the history of Naxos, Taormina and Castelmola. On the final day he took us to Siracusa for a day trip, which we highly recommend!

Beautiful apartment with everything you need on vacation. Supermarket and restaurant are about 10 minutes by car and in and around Nicolosi there are numerous providers for Etna hikes or quad tours. Alessandro was super helpful with lots of tips for the area and even contacts with Etna hikes. Everything very clean and a small supply of water and cooking basics in the kitchen. The apartment is a little clairvoyant, which is not bad. Even when the owners were there, they were very quiet and even gave us fresh tomatoes and herbs from the garden! Definitely recommend!

The place was really very nice. I traveled with a friend and we had the entire garden area, the pool, and the kitchen to ourselves for 7 days. We rented a car and were also able to park it in the yard. The town of Monterosso is not very touristy, which we liked very much to get an insight into the life of locals. Regarding the room, I can only say that it was very tidy and everything necessary was available. The only thing you should know is that the bed is a little hard. Otherwise, everything was really great. The stay was super relaxing and we enjoyed it very much.

Had a wonderful time at Francesco's place! He and Giovanna were very welcoming and generous hosts, sharing local recommendations and even some home made wine! The pool was the perfect spot to cool off after a hot day and the house was well placed for excursions to Etna. Thank you both for a delightful stay !
