Monthly Rentals in Sayama Lake

I stayed here for a month while working in Tokyo — I only needed to be most central a few days a week, so was happy to be based in a smaller, more local neighbourhood for the majority of my time. There's everything I needed locally, & Tachikawa was nearby for more hardcore shopping. The nearest train stations are quite a walk away, so I wouldn't recommend it if you plan to commute far or want to be elsewhere most days. The flat itself is very well kept & furnished with nice gadgets to make daily life comfortable (e.g. electric blanket .. lifesaver). The host was kind, responsive & helpful — I knew that if I needed anything, she would help. I felt looked after & also had privacy. The internet worked well, the bathroom great. There was everything I needed to cook most meals in the kitchen. Supermarkets 10-15 mins walk away. Gym & library 15-20 mins away. I hope to return to Kunitachi next time I'm working in the city.

The location is excellent. Train station is a 5mins walk connecting to downtown, 2 supermarkets, restaurants, convenient stores nearby. The host is very attentive & responsive. When I checked in, the building was under painting work. I was unable to use the washing machine.The host brought me a new set of towels immediately. They are doing a good job in keeping everything in clean & good condition. The kitchenware & cookingware are in good shape. Bedsheets & towels are clean. TV system has a good variety. The host has spent time & effort to make this place great & your stay comfortable. During my stay, I couldn’t receive a mail. The host contacted the post office & found out the mail was returned as the receiver’s name does not match the registered one in the mailbox. I am delighted because nowadays even a branded hotel like Hyatt will not offer & is unwilling to offer such effort to provide service to the guest. Will I return to this place again? It is a Big Yes.

Oh I wished I could rate more than 5 stars!!!! Ryo was truly wonderful, helpful, caring and friendly!!! He made sure we felt comfortable, let us come by earlier since we were doing an international trip lol but man!! We didn’t want to leave!! We felt like we were actually home and living in Japan such a peaceful side of suburban Tokyo! We were about an hr from Tokyo but it felt super easy to move around and still get to the city but with the comfort of the suburbs. Super clean everything accessible had a handy guide for all appliances and places to eat go sightsee handy emergency numbers for whatever etc. Please if you have the chance give Ryo a try as it will be very worth !! We stayed two weeks and got a great deal and again had a wonderful host!
