DOW was very pretty nestled between the Grindstone access creek and LCO. We are locals who came for a weekend getaway. While it was too cold to use the outdoors, the views were beautiful. What I appreciated just as much was the cleanliness of the cabin.

The custom-built log lodge is visible on a grassy hillside overlooking Windigo Lake. Surrounded by trees, the lodge features a spacious deck and multiple windows. In the foreground, a dock with seating and a boat is positioned along the calm lake's edge.

White Tail Lodge exceeded our expectations! The house is huge, although the main floor living and kitchen area was where the 10 of us spent most of our time, there were plenty of places to take a little break from the group. The house and property has so many amenities, they're all in the listing but when you're there, it's like, wow! Super clean, and beautiful but not so fancy that you feel afraid to live in it - it feels homey, not ostentatious. Bedrooms are roomy and beds comfortable, and the closets are massive! The kitchen is well-appointed for cooking, and there are a good variety of spices but unlike some places there aren't other staple items like cooking oil so don't forget that! Stacy does a great job as a host, her communication is prompt and clear, there are clear written instructions in a binder at the property. She even left mixed nuts and truffles as weelcome gifts! All 10 of us loved White Tail Lodge, we're already booking for next year! :-)

Beautiful updated cabin, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, felt right at home! Loved the suggestions of things to do in the area, was a nice touch provided by the hosts. Brent was very communicative, before and during our stay. Will definitely be back!

This cabin is perfect! It is cozy and clean! The hosts have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. Everything from the fire pit in front to the many board games on the front porch! We loved just hanging out at the cabin. The beds were super comfortable and the linens crisp and clean! My only wish is that we could have stayed longer!

🍁 The cabin was a perfect choice for us to stay. We had everything we needed in the cabin. All we had to bring with us with our bare minimums and personal items. The scenery was beautiful, and the weather ended up being perfect. We definitely can’t wait to come back again for a vacation! ❤️

We had a great stay at this little cabin! Amazing location, super quiet and peaceful, and the hosts went out of their way to make sure we had clear directions for navigating the backroads. Google Maps did bring us right to the front door, but it was helpful to have a heads up about the directions ahead of time!

It was a wonderful stay at your beautiful cabin! All of your antiques and decorations were amazing, it was like a museum of hunting and fishing items. Very comfy beds and furniture. We felt right at home the entire time! The fireplace really warmed up the cabin and lent a cozy feel. We enjoyed a campfire every day and evening as we took in the lake views. Having Powell's Restaurant such a short walk away was very handy! We look forward to our next visit!

The lovely lake home was a beautiful place to stay for fall break. The fall colors were amazing and the home is nestled in the woods by the lake. The home is very comfortable and open kitchen is equipped with new cooking gear. It was great to have coffee in the morning while looking at the lake and also beverages at sunset on the deck. The beds were comfortable and everything was new/nicely decorated. There is a bedroom, great room, and bathroom upstairs that is very spacious. Kristi was great to work with and we appreciated her responsiveness.

My friends and I had a great weekend stay at the cabin. Patrick was very easy to work with and responsive, giving clear instructions for finding the location and entering the home. The cabin was in great shape, everything worked, and we had no problem with the amenities. The cabin has a nice layout and feel, and we felt right at home. We hope to stay here again next year!

This is a great cabin for a north woods getaway. The location is very private with lots of wildlife. The home comes with lots to do outside and inside and is well cared for. Parts of the home are recently updated. The beds, pillows and couches were all comfy. We enjoyed a dinner out at Pine Ridge on the lake.

Tim and Kelly were proactive in their communication leading up to our stay. The sub-zero temps and diminished snow cover had caused issues for the sceptic ahead of our trip; Tim was on the ball lining up local services to resolve the issues ahead of our stay and made sure we had a fun home-base for Birkie week events. This is a comfortable, spacious, and well outfitted cabin in the north woods. Thanks again to Tim and Kelly!

We own a cabin just down the shore line from ViewTopia and needed extra space for some out of town company. This cabin is beautiful and lives up to it's name! I've stayed in many AirBnB's and this one is so well done. They included a lot of little touches and conveniences I've not seen in many others we have used. Great location! Great Hosts! Loved our stay!

The lodge is nestled among tall trees, with a view of the two-story structure from the lake. A private dock with a boat is visible, and the reflections of the trees and sky can be seen in the calm water.

Mark’s house was beautiful. It was well furnished. The lake view was beautiful and it was quiet and secluded. Most of the time we felt like we had the lake to ourselves. Mark was responsive and helpful with local restaurant and sightseeing suggestions. The Wisconsin Northwoods never disappoints and Mark’s house adds to the enjoyment.

Such a beautiful and welcoming place! Our family enjoyed our time here and it was so comfortable. The beds were amazing, the kitchen had everything you need, and the living area offered the perfect place to spend time as a family. We had a great time staying at the cottage and Brittney was really quick to respond to questions and messages throughout the stay. We would definitely stay again and would recommend renting out both cabins for a larger group :)
