Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Sault Ste. Marie

We stayed at Pond #8 which was a short drive from the main resort. We didn’t use any of the resort amenities because we enjoyed our cabin so much! The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s the perfect wilderness getaway. The staff at check in/out were very friendly. We will definitely be coming back and staying longer.

Breathtaking views for a lovely winter getaway! Plentiful surroundings for snowshoeing along the lake, through the wooded yard and enjoying deer sightings. Hugh was always responsive and friendly.

We loved this house! It accommodated our whole family and was very spacious. The view was great!

This place was something for sure. Very well done with tons of thought put in everywhere you look. You have to see it to truly appreciate that the hosts definitely did everything they could to make a stay there over the top enjoyable!!!!!

We loved staying at Sunset Den. It was just what we wanted, relaxing and peaceful. We stayed in the fall and all of the colors changing was beautiful. I can see this also being a great place to stay in the summer to enjoy the water more. Would definitely consider going back.

I would highly recommend to stay here. beautiful scenery, had all the amenities that you could ask for. Very clean and comfortable . The host was very responsive and friendly. I will return :)

I can't say enough how much we loved this home. The owners are super friendly people, and the place is absolutely stunning. The photos of the home itself don't even do it justice, we felt right at home as soon as we entered. Everything was so thoughtfully furnished, and had all the supplies you need for a comfortable stay. I could've spent days just wandering around that property and taking in the views. The lake, the trees, the rock formations -- all of it is so so beautiful. The hot tub and fireplace made for a cozy stay for some chilly October days. As two females traveling, it can be a little daunting staying in somewhat secluded areas. But we felt totally comfortable being there. The owners are located down the hill on the property, but plenty of privacy between the places! And since they're such great people it was nice knowing someone was nearby if we needed anything! We'll for sure be back to this lovely home

Very friendly and welcoming. Had a problem with the water but they were very quick to get on fixing it. Even though they weren't able to fix the no water issue while i was there, they had offered to make up for it on another visit. They were even willing to extend my stay, sadly i was unable to do so.

This place was amazing! Our group had a wonderful time. We were lucky that the resort was able to offer us a late checkout. We didn't want to leave!!

The Saunna works well. If you have a pet with you the small fenced yard is great. But if you pet is small, beware of gaps at the gate and by house. Escape artist dogs should stay on a leash. The enclosed porch is very cosy. Over all a very nice space.

This is the most fully equipped kitchen we have seen in all our Airbnb's so far. We were able to cook the basics with simple seasonings and commonly used sauces on hand. Everything I needed to do some home baking for our son while we visited him at college. Very clean, beds were comfortable, instructions were well laid out and easy to follow. This place was exactly what we needed as a home base to spend time with our very busy aviation student between his classes and flights.

A stunning location , with the best views of the Lake Superior

Felt like we fit right into the location. Very safe location. No issues with neighbors - never bothered us.

My kids and I felt right at home at this location. It was clean and comfy with everything needed. The washer and dryer was a huge plus!!!

The cabin is in a beautiful setting on the river . Eagles flew by every day . Very peaceful.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Everything was perfect. The home had everything we needed and the perfect amount of space. Having a playpen and high chair at the listing saved us bringing them on a VERY long car trip with us. Gerda was extremely kind and accommodating. I would stay here a hundred times over and recommend Gerda’s place to anyone looking to visit Sault Ste Marie! You won’t be disappointed :)

Sarah and Walter are excellent hosts!!! We loved all the treats from local shops. They supplied us with more than enough extras and made us feel very special. We had a wonderful stay in the winter wonderland of Trout Lake. Sarah and Walter even came out to snow blow the driveway and check in on us during our extended stay. We never lost power during a once in a lifetime ice/snow storm. Thank you so much for a memorable stay!!
