Let's start by saying that Deanna is the perfect host.. very proactive and always available when needed to answer questions . The place is absolutely how it's listed.. real pics on the listing and absolutely beautiful.. I swear it took an effort to leave the calmness of this place and head back home..the house is filed with everything that u need to have a peaceful stay Tip: only a fool would miss the food at the nearest cafe Stub-bee..

The bay was one of the few bays that weren't frozen over; while there was still some ice floats, the water was very calm and relaxing and the whole place was very serene. Very few other people were around since it was mid-April and we really enjoyed the quiet of it all. The apple fritters really are delicious, and the other reviews are right to suggest getting all your groceries in Sault Ste. Marie on your way (assuming you're coming from the south). If anyone in your party is tall, be aware the door frames are 6' so anyone taller will have to be careful not to whack their heads. We would love to come back in the summer and use the beach and all the outdoor stuff with the dogs. Can't beat the views from the front windows!

I highly recommend this amazing house right on the banks of Bright Lake. I have zero complaints and we will be returning! Nicole was very accommodating and couldn't ask for a better host. If you're looking for a peaceful and beautiful house on the lake trust me you wont be disappointed if you stay at the Rocky Retreat!

This place truly felt like home. The host was amazing—super communicative and thoughtful throughout the stay. It’s the perfect spot if you’re looking to unwind in a peaceful, quiet environment with beautiful views all around. Everything about this trip was just what I needed. Loved every moment and would definitely come back again!

Overall the dealing and interaction with Billie was amazing. Words cannot express. You have to experience it. We will be going back for sure. Everything was as per our expectations and more. Billie was very responsive and proactive at the same time made us feel at home away from home. In short we will recommend this cottage to our friends and family.

This air bnb was so amazing I can’t say enough good things about it. It’s super clean which is such a plus when staying in an air bnb. They also thought of all the little details. There was sunscreen in the bathrooms, bug spray in the living room, extra chairs, wood and kindling by the fire pit. Don’t even get me started on the location. Absolutely gorgeous. The views are amazing and the water is so nice. If you’re able to, get the loft. It’s beautiful and has another bathroom and full kitchen. If you’re thinking if you should stay here, you should. It’s worth the drive up north questions asked. Thank you for having us!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home on the shore of Lake Superior. The house is very comfortable, everything is new and sparkling clean. The kitchen is huge and has everything one may need and more. The host is very friendly and responsive and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. For example, when we returned from skiing (Stokely Creek is 40 minutes away) on a snowy day, we found the driveway freshly plowed. The location is quite spectacular, we really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time! It was so peaceful on the water and sitting on the back deck with coffee and a book was a great way to recharge! The house was homey and comfortable, our kids played the video games provided and we all played lots of board games! We did have to use the coordinates to find it since our GPS got us close but not quite there but once we typed in the coordinates, it took us right to it. We look forward to coming back another time!

We had the most wonderful stay here. We’ve tried renting lots of cabins throughout Algoma and Olli and Mia’s Chippewa retreat is by far our favourite. Lots to do nearby, great fishing, kayaks and canoe were lovely amenities. The hosts were so kind and welcoming. The cottage is gorgeous and so comfy it was actually nice to have a rainy day to have an excuse to spend more time inside. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful secluded area where you can enjoy calm and quiet surroundings. We loved the place. We highly recommend it.

The place was great. Swimming was difficult; slippery rocks for days (not literally). Brought something to float out to deeper water; much easier.

Had a great time on Dunlop Lake! Dale and Jess are amazing hosts, and my family and I had made a life time of memories in only a week! Amazing sunrises everyday, canoe trips and fishing daily with the kids. Already planning more trips to Elliot Lake and keeping Dale and Sunrise Bay in mind. A thousand thanks!!

felt at home on entering the cottage. Very well equipped kitchen and spacious living room and dining room combined. lots of light and exits to the porch . Plenty of seating on the porch and the grounds were very easy to maneover..great grass and a great deck by the water's edge again with plenty of seating. we stayed in late May so the water and weather did not invite swimming!! we heard and saw loons and other water fowl the sky was spectacular the night we saw the northern lights the beds were comfortable and our dog loved the run that we could tie him up to. excellent relaxing time will come back for sure lots of parking an easy to find convenient for shopping in Moonbeam

Few hiccups with the remote entry but Ian was responsive to text and got it sorted even at 10 pm. Made sure we had everything we needed. Overall a good host.

Ryan made our stay enjoyable was quick with responses. This property was just what we needed for a family weekend.

We had a lovely long weekend at Tristan's place. The location is perfect and very convenient to some outstanding restaurants and shops in Richard's Landing. Tristan is very responsive and so friendly. The home was impeccably clean and had everything anyone would need. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful and very peaceful. Sunsets were breathtaking! The hot tub and sauna were a plus! We loved it so much we've already booked it for a long weekend again next month. Thank you so much Tristan!

Breathtaking views for a lovely winter getaway! Plentiful surroundings for snowshoeing along the lake, through the wooded yard and enjoying deer sightings. Hugh was always responsive and friendly.

The place looked exactly like the photos and was a nice getaway if your looking for a cabin on the water. Was peaceful, enjoyable, and very very beautiful. Price is a little pricey but for what you get and the scenic views makes it worth it. Especially if you go as a group and divide up the costs. Would love to go back again sometime and would recommend this airbnb. Thanks again for hosting!

Nadia's Beautiful Log home was everything the pictures showed and more! Extremely clean and very friendly to deal with. Highly recommend for any group big or small to have a wonderful getaway.

We can’t say enough about this place. We just wanted a base camp for a day on a local lake. This was above and beyond what we expected. The “cabin” is beyond beautiful. The photos do NOT do it justice. It’s so modern and thoughtful! We had all the comforts we could possibly want and more! Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful, and although, the cabin is on their property, it was so private, we felt as though we were on our own! The hot tub was so relaxing and well maintained and the bonus of the screened in porch made sure wouldn’t be bothered by any unwanted guests (bugs) while we were using it. The lookout was amazing. We didn’t expect such a cool feature when we got there. It’s a 1/2 km hike up a pretty steep path but it was very easy to navigate even after the rains with a tiny bit of mud here and there. We managed it no problem. And you can’t beat the view. We were lucky enough to make it up there as a thunderstorm passed. We will 100% be returning. Maybe even this year!

We stayed here for a ski race for my daughter at Searchmont and the accommodations and host Jessica were excellent. Great, clean, modern home on Lake Superior. Quiet and relaxing. Would highly recommend.
